Renovations in progress. That’s understandable, but it was halfway done. Bathroom door was sticky. Boxes all in hallways. Open closet with dripping water in hallway looking nasty. They should have done one floor at a time. Our room had no toiletry extras but 1 bar of soap. Our friends room had 2-3 bottles of toiletries. Lobby had boxes piled by door.

Convenient for visiting grapevine. They were in the middle of remodeling but it was clean. Breakfast was free but not great.

Should not pay full price for a hotel under construction - stepping over trash, wires, tools to get up the steps when the elevator is not in use is unacceptable.

There was no warning during booking the hotel is undergoing complete remodel! Lobby was a wasteland of boxes, equipment and in-progress floor tileing. Or room was a remodeled one and was nice except no clothes hangars in the closet and missing cover on the ceiling light in the bathroom. Room above us was inhabited by un-attended children who played loudly until after 9:30 pm. It sounded like a heard of elephants stampeeding! I complained twice to management to little avail. Worst stay ever!

The hotel does state it is under construction, but it's to the point where it needs to be closed off for a short period to let that construction and remodeling take completion. Contractor vehicles where all over the place which made parking very difficult. A large stack of mattresses were in the back parking lot which made me wonder why all the beds were being replaced. Walking into the hotel with no flooring and plastic covers hanging all around seemed unwelcoming. When checking in, the hotel receptionists seemed to be having trouble with my check in. I checked my credit card statement and i was charged the $190 for the room and the $50 temporary hold, which is normal. I was also charged $145, $95, and another $50 (not normal) . I was refunded $240. Now I'm just waiting on the two $50 charges to be returned. Our doors kept sticking from fresh paint, only 2 shower towels for a room that sleeps four, and no breakfast as advertised.

This is our second stay in a week, as stated before the hotel is currently undergoing renovations that start at roughly 9am...but if you're out all day like us it didn't affect us. Room we had was clean and spacious. Breakfast is basic but ample. Very convenient for Grapevine town centre.

Hotel is currently under renovation, luckily we had a renovated room so was clean and comfy. We were out all of the days so the work didn't bother us. Breakfast was simple but ample- waffles, omelettes, bacon,cereal, yogurt etc.... 15-20 minute walk to the main station and Grapevine Main Street.

The hotel was kept very clean for the middle of construction. The staff was friendly with us.

Thr check in went quick and smooth. The breakfast was good. Typical continental breakfast. Staff was friendly. The hotel is located close to the attractions we wanted to visit. Also close to several local eating places.

I booked this property understanding it was rated 8.7/10. Upon arrival the staff was very friendly and the check in was fast and easy. That’s as far as I can go with a positive review. I want to say that had I expected a 5/10 hotel I would not complain, but that was not the expectation. Once we entered the elevator the problems began. The elevator is like riding a plane hitting turbulence. It needs some major work. The hotel smells terrible. Think musty wet clothes that have sat for days. The walls of the hotel are filthy and need a fresh coat of paint, although I don’t believe that will touch the smell. Entering our room, it was the same. Dirty walls, banged up furniture, musty smell (my perfume sprayed all across the room didn’t help), but that’s not all! Pubic hair in my bathroom floor, hair in the sink. Gross! Even my two young, stinky boys who don’t think about dirty hotel rooms asked to leave. So that’s what we did. I noticed a sticker on the front windows of the hotel rating it a 8.7/10…. Back in 2014! Ten years ago! That’s why I’m leaving an honest review. A lot of things change in 10 years and this hotels rating should match the condition of the hotel in that time. Expedia and the hotel refuse to refund or credit for another stay at a different location in the future. This solidified my decision to move forward with an honest review. We left an hour after check in. Thankfully we had family close by. Understand this is truly a 5/10 if you have to stay here.

Very disappointed we were not informed the laundry was not available, the one thing we needed for a long stay and verified before booking. Had to go elsewhere to do. Also day after check in they were jackhammering the pool to redo. I get it that they are doing renovations but not made aware of prior to arrival. Not willing to adjust rate after check in for lack of services advertised and were counting on.

Beds are pretty hard. Breakfast is basic, but coffee machine broken all day.

Within walking distance of the historic town. The hotel was quiet and easily accessible.

This hotel is in need of repair. Bathroom walls had what I think was bodily fluids, blood and black marks on it. The room was musty, bed extremely firm. Glad I only had to stay 1 night.

Very very friendly staff. Check in was a breeze and they were so friendly and kind. We were greeted by the front desk every time we walked in and out. The hotel seems to be under a well needed renovation. The hallways are outdated. The room itself smelled like old carpet and felt humid. Beds were comfy and room seemed clean. Easy acces to highway and close to lots of restaurants and shops.

Booked a queen/queen room and all they had available was 1 queen. Had to pay for another hotel. On top of that hotel was dirty and guy was not very helpful at all.

The lobby was dirty and sticky, there were 3 girls behind the counter but they only waited on 1 at a time. It took us and hour to get checked in. I had 2 rooms and I had to use a separate credit card for each room. I wanted them close together to watch the kids. They were on different floors in different buildings. The rooms were dirty and the sheet and covers had visible stains on them. I will not go back. Craig.

My wife and I have stayed here before, it’s very convenient for great restaurants and walkable to downtown grapevine. The property is currently going through a renovation and we can’t wait to revisit. Breakfast looked, but we did not eat there. Coffee was good. For the money it is worth the price.
