There was a leak in the bathroom with brown drips on the ceiling. The management would not discount the room at all and said that it was condensation from the shower. Brown water is not condensation.

Appeared clean when we first arrived. Later we found trash under the bed. Bathroom was very small and water damage on ceiling and wall. No plug in the tub to take a bath. Very small counterspace for setting curling irons and items used to get ready for the day. The refrigerator and microwave were clean.

If you’re on the first floor you can hear people above you moving, running around. Room clean but a lingering musty smell. Bed comfortable. Ok just for a stop over to destination. Many restaurants close by.

Was good. Wouldn't write home to Mom about it, but was good. Saw other negative reviews online; I cannot agree.

The room was nice and clean. It was set up good and suited our needs very well. The outlet the microwave was plugged into did not work. Had to move it to use it. People were sitting on the steps smoking as I tried to walk in with my tiny children, one steppped slightly out of the way so we could actually use the stairs too, one did not move, but still kept smoking, so I had to walk my kids through their smoke to get into the building. All the signs say there are designated smoking areas (those are not right next to the door), perhaps this should be something mentioned at check in for people who are inconsiderate of other people and tiny childrens lungs. The breakfast wasn't great, cereal was empty, biscuits were cold, gravy didn't look very... fresh. Biggest disappointment was that the pool was closed. Nothing was wrong with the actual pool, but they had to do something with the electrical (assuming cameras, as the cords were hanging from the ceiling around the whole property). The pool location was pointed out on the map at checkin and we went to swim about an hour later only to see a sign that it was closed. Asked at the front desk and was told it would be closed for "at least a couple days". Absolutely no activity to fix it happened on our three night stay. That is a huge part of our hotel visits, so that was incredibly disappointing to my kids. TLDR; As long as you don't care about smokers, breakfast, and maybe no pool, it's a good stay. Previous stays were better.

Our stay was comfortable, quiet, and pleasant. Breakfast was good, and had variety. Room was clean, and well equipped. We have zero complaints.

We tried to be optimistic about the place, but it was not clean. There were stains on the couch, the shower was broken, and other things that made this a rough place to stay. We did not end up staying the whole time, and were unable to get a refund due to booking through here.

There was hair in the bathtub, feces on the back of our toilet and a finger nail on the floor.

I reserved two rooms for a family wedding. I was told ours was a handicap with a rolling shower. I even called two days before we left and they said yes that’s what they had. Their handicapped bathroom had one crab bar in a regular tub, which I could not use. The other room had obviously had a terribly flooded toilet, and the carpet was wet, not damp, soaking wet. My son and wife had to stay in that awful room because he had no other rooms. The next morning I wanted to speak with the manager, who is very Kurt and said it was booked through Hotels.com, not my problem.

Gaylord has lots of dining, centrally located, and big enough to have all the national retail / fast food you may need on a trip, but small enough to still have a great downtown with much better dining and retail. It was easy to get everywhere from the Baymont.

Our room was fine. What we were disappointed about was the included breakfast which was verry meager and missing several items where the containers were either broken or bare.

The building/decor/furniture at this location is most definitely old and dated but my room was was very clean and comfortable, easy parking, over the phone and in person their staff members were very pleasant and accommodating to my early check in needs.

Nice property. Price, good selections for free breakfast. Pool clean but only 3 1/2 feet deep. Close to shopping, restaurants and highways.

It is decent for staying for one night. The night front desk staff is very kind and friendly.

The hotel is run down. There is no elevator. Room was not very clean. The price is way too high for the quality of the hotel. The staff was great.

Decent hotel for a stop thru one night stay. Staff was friendly. Hotel was older you could tell by it in the rooms. We had a mini fridge and microwave, it was off the Main Street. Only weird thing the toilet paper was next to shower in front of the toilet so hard to keep it dry…breakfast was decent, small grab and go options. Coffee was in another area, so it seemed as after thought crammed together with seating right up against the check in desk.

Short stsy while visiting fsmily in town. Needed a place near by to sleep and shower. Arrived late, but staff was there on duty and friendly.

The check in clerk was super helpful and kind (name started with a J)! Our room was clean. Went to eat and play pool at the Iron Pig! It was a blast! All in all a great stay!!!

I typically don’t post unfavorable results but because of our unfortunate experience and lack of resolution, I must. Brief summary—a/c didn’t work in our room; dirt ball on floor; bathroom tub appeared dirty—but on further look it is stained; staff we interacted with were not available to assist or available but not very friendly (maybe we are too used to southern hospitality). Good things—amazing water pressure and thus great shower!! Breakfast staff working hard to replenish food and keep area clean. We left with full bellies and disappointed heart. Lessons learned—maybe 3rd party isn’t the best booking scenario? Late or early morning arrivals are to be avoided if possible. Adjust expectations of how people will treat you when traveling. Longer review: We knew we would have a late arrival and I called ahead at 6pm and the female who answered the phone assured me someone would be at the desk to help us. (in hindsight I recall hanging up and saying to my husband that was not very professional—I had to enter zero multiple times to get an attendant and when she answered she just said, yes… No name or acknowledgment that it was Baymont. I had to ask is this Baymont?) We arrived just after 1am, weary travelers. The male at the desk was not very welcoming from my perspective. I had to ask for the time of breakfast. Thankfully we didn’t need WiFi because he didn’t tell us anything abt that. We opened door to Rm250 and it smelled awful—musty I guess because it is a non-smoking
