This is our home away from our trailer and when we need to be comfy in a king size bed. Our little dog loves this hotel and feels like a princess. These folks are all top notch from the housekeeping, to desk just great people.

Room was okay but they sprung an extra $100 deposit at the front desk which wasn't exactly great. Also they said there would be a complimentary breakfast, which ended up being the staff at the front desk handing you non-brand packaged oatmeal, a pre-packaged mini muffin- and a side table with warm water for tea or super watery coffee. So breakfast was a total cop out. Like technically, yes, they offered it, but it wasn't worth the increased price tag that tends to be associated with breakfast amenities included.

This place raised the bar for value accommodations! Exceeded expectations. Will return.

I was there for one night. The room was decent, location ok, and the two guys I dealt with (hate virtual) were nice. Brkfst same problem with pre-wrapped foods that aren't that great. Road noise was a problem.

This is our go to place. We are returning guests and we feel well cared for in our visits from our smiling desk agents to the housekeeping.
Thank you.

Interesting place. Breakfast was somewhat a joke. Mini muffin and pop tart? They also charge security deposit, which is alright. As long as you get it back

High Tech check in with the monitor like Zoom, Grab and go breakfast should have mentioned it in the discription.

Overall, my stay was excellent. The room was clean, the staff was always super friendly. It was by a busy highway, but the noise was minimal. The area was quiet and felt safe. Parking was great as well. Your complementary breakfast will consist of a paper lunch bag with fruit, some granola bar, and oatmeal which you can make in your room. But hey, you can have 2nds! I guess my only complaint would be this: I had to bring my little very well-behaved dog with me. She’s so mild mannered, and house trained, very timid so she really never leaves my side. Doesn’t bark unless you approach aggressively. Even then, she hides at my side and will stop when told. Unfortunately, their policy calls for $20 a night fee. Tried to reason with them, but no go. To me, in the end since we had no issues it amounted to an extra $60 they collected. For nothing. They called it “pet deep cleaning“, but there was no such thing in my case. It was still reasonable, so no worries. I just wish they would’ve been a little more flexible.

The room was clean and fresh. The young man behind the counter allowed us to park the car where we could still keep our trailer attach to our car even through parking spaces was scarce. This hotel is within walking distance to Humboldt Cafe on 2nd st. They are pet friendly and great food.
Due to circumstances out of their control, the breakfast was provided by a different hotel across the street. Since it was just a continental breakfast, we didn’t go over to have breakfast.

Nice location, super nice front desk staff!

Overall was not bad! If you are traveling and just need one night stop to rest!
Room: was nice and clean except the bathroom shower that was cover in black mold.
There is no complementary supply like soap and shampoo at all! You have to come down to the reception to get some, and it’s difficult if you come tired from a trip. We really miss the soap :(
There is no water to drink except a vendor machine that only takes $1 bills.
PROS: if you own an electric car, they have EC and tesla chargers on parking lot with was great.
Very peaceful at night, with food around and The Pink Lady Mansion and Ingomar Club at a walkable distance.

Asked for quiet room away from the stairs & received a room right at the top of the stairs….heard everyone who went to their room. The virtual check out was no fewer persons…she assisted while the office person “passed out “(1) snack bars (breakfast?). Should not advertise as free breakfast!!! No coffee brewed for office. 3 sets of towels, 1 soap & 1 tiny shampoo for 4 person occupancy.

Perfect for a short stay, for example before to visit Redwood National Park. Nice room fully equipped. The small swimming pool is a plus.

While it is on a busy street, this motel is relatively quiet. There was plenty of parking and the rooms looked to be fairly recently remodeled. My only complaints are that there was a musty smell near the head of the bed, and the shower head. An extender was added to accommodate taller folks (much appreciated.) but the actual head was not adjustable. As a result, you had to move to the far end of the tub just to get the water on your lower back! Washing your legs was not an option.

Has to use the virtual kiosk to check in, I prefer in person interaction. The pan in the shower/bath tub was not installed properly and it made showering inconvenient with the floor essentially flexing/popping when you shifted body weight.

The room was clean. The area around the motel was kind of seedy, but okay. The pool was the gem of the stay.

Bayside hotel was a pleasant surprise for the price paid. It was well maintained and the room was extremely clean. Not one lingering smell of old cigarette smoke. The front desk staff both when we checked in and out were helpful and friendly. We even got an upgrade for no particular reason other than being accommodating. I highly recommend the Bayside Inn & Suites.

I was not impressed by the virtual check in. Room was not clean and bath towels were missing. Called them but no one answered. (Virtual you know) They charged me $40 for the missing towels which was never there in the first place. We had to use the small towels instead . It was a bad experience. I take review seriously and I advise no one should stay there. There are many options so please skip this one

Property was old, paint peeling of the walls. We requested room clean up but didn't get it. They did offer to do it when we got back to the room and i complained at 7pm, but that would mean we find something else to do while they cleaned. For continental breakfast we had to walk across the street to Super 8 (owned by same management). The guy who worked there was rude, Upset that he had to wait on us, even though the muffins were behind his counter. Just a bad experience for us all around,

It was a holiday weekend so the price was probably inflated but we payed over $200 for one night. It would have been more but I used $55 in rewards points. The room was clean, but it was old and run sien. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom that I didn’t see until the next morning. The beds were so-so. Not the best, not the worst. The TV and internet were glitchy and wouldn’t stay connected. We could hear all the noise outside our door but thankfully the fan drowned most of it out. I would never have stayed there but there was a 7.4 rating. Not sure how the achieved that ranking

Property was a bit dated but my room was fairly spacious. The property was on the main road in downtown Eureka, and was within walking distance of the old town. The area was generally fine, but it started to get a bit sketchy at night. My room was generally fine and wifi was okay. Decor was a bit tired but functionally, everything worked. Breakfast-to-go was a bit awkward as it was not self serve, and food can only be obtained from an attendance. Even then, food was offered in the form of mini-muffins and granola bars, so it was a bit disappointing. It was also a bit interesting that the property charged a resort fee, as it didn't seem that I didn't perceive the property to be a "resort" per se.
Overall, the stay was fine, but certain elements could be improved, including having a renovation and providing a better breakfast.
