My go to for overnight trips to Royals games. Great location, friendly staff, clean, and fantastic breakfast.

Easy off/on I-70, clean up-to-date hotel, clean-comfortable room, great value

My husband and I flew into Kansas City for a few days to do some ballpark chasing. Staff was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The room was comfy and clean and spacious. The bed was so comfortable. I loved that they put a bed topper on to provide more cushion. I don’t normally sleep well in hotel beds but I slept so good here! In a great location, next to quite a few food and shopping places but not congested with traffic at all. Would stay here again next time we’re in the area!

We've stsyed hete a few times. Akeays clean and no problems. This visit seemed different. The main room was clean and the bed was nicely made with obvious cjean sheets. The bathroom was ok. There was a big water puddke on the counter, the bathmat was half wet and a couple hairs on the edge if the tub. Granted, the room may have just been cleared causing all the wetness in tbe bathroom, but the wet batmat and counter were very obvious. The fire sprinkler was surrounded by mold or rust; it was hard to tell. The beds were very comfortable and, as I said, the room was clean. The main lobby and swimming area were all nice too. They do provide a breakfast. It's has a good variety to choose from and an eating area. The staff is very friendly.

We got there before check in at 3 hoping a room would be available because we needed to change our cloths for a wedding we came in town to attend. The wedding started at 4. He told us the room was not ready. We booked a king. We then sat in the lobby to wait. After a few minutes he then said the room was ready. The hotel looked like it was newly renovated however the there were places in the room that were original, very worn. The bathroom was not very clean, mold on the caulk in one corner and the toilet seat was broken. The sliding barn door to the bathroom was very hard to close and didn’t cover the entire opening.

We always stay here when attending Royals or Chiefs games because it is very convenient and typically cheaper and nicer than hotels near the stadiums. The beds are comfortable. Staff is friendly. The bathroom door is a pocket door without a real handle so it doesn’t completely close or lock. Just a weird choice given everything else in the room is great. Breakfast is decent. Hotel is clean.

Close to lots of shopping. BUT……was dirty. Plus the 100$ deposit was surprising. Could be a great stay if it was cleaner and staff wasn’t slow and misunderstanding. If you are a shower person who needs pressure….this is not the place for you.

Average, boring cookie cutter motel. Fine but not anything to write home about. Uninteresting, un-walkable area.

The hotel was Very Clean. The room was big with all of the amenities you could ask for!

Very good location. Close to freeway and Kauffman stadium. Nice quiet area room was wonderful. Did have a drainage problem in the shower. Beds very comfy. Lots of pillows. Thank you.

Nice and clean

Location was convenient, but overall, facilities were just average.

This Best Western did not disappoint! The rooms were comfortable, safe, and clean. The pillows were soft, but not too soft. The beds were comfy. The breakfast was amazing! The staff were very friendly and respectful!

The pool area was pretty dirty and unsafe. Couldn’t watch Tv because there was no remote and the property couldn’t get one to link. The sheets and towels looked dirty.

The hotel is in a nice area if you’re planning to go to a Chiefs or Royals game. Only a 10 minute drive. From afar, everything looked great. But once we headed to our room, the elevator makes a horrible sound and shook a little almost like it was on the verge of breaking. Our room was clean for the most part but there’s quite a bit of wear down on things. One of the built in dressers on the side was falling apart. We didn’t put anything on it because it looked like any weight would cause it to buckle. The door to the bathroom is a sliding door. When slid to close, there’s a huge gap between the wall and door that you can see through, pretty much defeating the purpose of the door. The door also had chunks missing out of the bottom of it. The comforter also had some dark stains on it but was covered by the decorative blanket on the bed. The hotel was okay, can’t expect flawless for $130 a night, but there are some simple things that could be addressed.

The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. The entire property, once you hit the hallway, smells of marijuana. The room is absolutely not sound proof. Being on the second floor, we could hear everything happening in rooms above, below, and next to us.

We just needed a place to rest our heads after a concert in the city and this did the job for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was just OK. We were in the second floor of the complex. The elevator sounded like it might quit any second which made me a little nervous.. and our room felt damp and smelled strong of mildew. We didn’t have time or energy to try and request a different room so I can’t really complain.

Nice and clean, pleasant staff and comfortable beds, but poor ventilation in the room.

Easy for travel

Opened the door to the room and it smelled musty. A sheet had a stain on it. In order to flush the toilet, you had to hold down on the handle for maybe 5-10 seconds. The elevator sounded in need of repair or inspection as the cable was making a screeching noise when going up or down. The tv did not work. Avoid this hotel if possible.

1) The room they put us in smaelled like a wet dog (pets as allowed here) 2) our neighbor across the hall had a rat dog that barked and scratched at the door from 7-7:30am, waking my family and I 3) i was told by management staff that I needed to move my vehicle due to parking lot maintenance, no big deal. I go to move my car, and I realize I had not knowingly driven all over wet tar. It wouldve been nice to have had a more advanced notice on this. My brand new car's tires were caked with tar, causing it to drive bumpy

There was a moisture in the air in the room and made it feel like the bedding was wet. Staff was very nice.

The pool needs some help brown stains on the floor and the water was really murky and cloudy no clorine smell
