There were fruit flies in our room and at breakfast. Our blinds would not go up. Front door didn’t close.

The shower had black mold and the shower curtain was torn and stained. The floors were dirty as well as the tops of tables amd mini fridge. The only good thing i can say is the bed and bedding was comfortable. Would not stay here again or recommend.

Too worn out

Staff were polite and ready to help if needed. Room was clean. Bathroom was clean. Pool indoor was fun with my daughter just in case it rained we could still have a swim.

Room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 5:00. They gave us an “upgrade “, but that room still had to be vacuumed-staff ran in with vacuum cleaner. The bathroom floor was either not cleaned or cleaned poorly: hair and contact lens on floor that was not ours. I will say breakfast was good and front desk person apologetic.

The quilt had stains on them. We were moved three times before we found a clean room. That was unacceptable. Staff was polite but agreed the rooms were dirty. Said housekeeping was substandard.

I want to share what an awful experience I had upon check out on July 11th, 2024 at 845 am. There was a woman at the front desk who was on her cell phone and did not look up from it as I was patiently waiting to be helped. She acted as if I was bothering her. She would not let me speak at all, continually cutting me off as I was trying to explain my situation. I asked if I could speak to a manager and she told me she had no idea when he/she would be there, maybe 8 am. So I waited. As I waited she continued to explain to multiple staff how she tried to explain to me (with in my ear shot) how she could not give me a receipt. After 30 mins I went back up to the desk and tried one more time to explain what I was concerned about and she offered a check in receipt. I said that would be great. I tried explaining to her that her attitude was awful. She proceeded to stand up, got VERY loud with me, and started pointing her finger at me complaining about me. I do understand that people don’t like their job. I get it, but none of this was called for. Every one in the dining area cleared out. Her coworkers had to restrain her. I would absolutely NOT recommend that anyone EVER stay here. What is so sad is there there were actually nice people working there. She should be gone. Hope that helps.

Nice location close to where my son lives. I've stayed here before and will stay here again. They are pet friendly and also have a low security deposit which is nice because it doesn't tie up a lot of funds on my debit card while I'm visiting town. The elevator needs to be worked on as it jerks very hard when it first goes up.

Towels were dirty

Clean space and modern linens. I like that Dove shampoo, conditioner, lotion and body wash were supplied. Very easy check in and check out. The baseball team had a great time at the hotel using the pool and hanging out together in the common areas. Yummy breakfast!

Nice location, but room needed to have repairs to bathroom. The ceiling plaster was chipping away and there was mold growing in the caulk around the tub.

My wife had trouble breathing in the room. I checked the a/c filter and looked like they had not been cleaned in a very long time. I cleaned them myself and it was a lot better

Went to check in after 4pm and room was still unavailable. Check in was supposed to be 3pm. Carpet looked like it had not been vacuumed in weeks.

We were scheduled to stay for 3 nights (Fri-Sun). From the moment we walked in the door on Friday night, our stay was terrible. In the lobby, there were 8-10 approximately 10-12 year olds running around. Not totally the hotels fault (Where was the adult supervision?) but that set the tone for the stay. The shades in the room were completely broken and would not go up or down. Fortunately broken down so that's were they stayed. It was very hot in the room - the A/C unit would not cool the room at all even though it seemed to be working and was set at max. The mini fridge was very noisy for not being at all cold. The bathroom sink would spray all over the place if it was turned on more than a trickle.Somehow we managed to survive the hot, noisy night. Saturday's breakfast was only average. Not many hot selections and limited other items. All of this could be lived with until Saturday night when the hot water tank stopped working! So also no new towels. Sunday morning came and still no hot water with no repair timetable in sight. Breakfast was even worse - including the pancake machine was now broken! We checked out Sunday morning - a day early. We were able to convince the counter that we deserved a refund. Which we were given a refund for Sunday night only. We should have been given one for the entire weekend! We usually consider Holiday Inn Express as our go-to hotel but this one will definitely NOT be on our list. This hotel needs some major renovations!

This place was a mess the door to the bathroom was broken coming off the hinges they were gaps in the door I could see in the hallway the ice bucket was not clean there was no soap in the shower it was just shampoo didn't feel clean at all the coffee and creamer had been opened and reused I'll never stay there again

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We ended up leaving a day early, and the hotel was nice enough to reimburse us for the last night without any issues. I was very grateful for that.

When we checked in we were put in a room with 2 smaller beds when we reserved a room with 1 queen bed. One of the beds were not made, there were dirty towels in the bathroom, and there was trash in the trash can. We went to lobby and asked to be moved. The lady at the front desk said it was hotels.com fault because of the way the reservation comes through. She spent a few minutes looking for an available room and luckily found one. I am disappointed with hotels.com because they make it seem like you can pick your room and I’m disappointed with holiday inn for originally placing us in a dirty room. We just drove 10 hours and didn’t want to have to deal with that. My other disappointment with the hotel is the breakfast buffet. It was incredibly small compared to other holiday inn hotels we have stayed in. The bacon they served was severely undercooked as well. The hotel is also definitely older than other holiday inns I have stayed in. The hall ways are hot and humid and the sink in the bathroom had mold on the backside that I could see in the sink. I should have taken pictures but we were there for a family emergency so taking pictures was not my top priority. I wouldn’t stay in this property again.

This was a very enjoyable stay.

Overall a good experience. At check-in, the person at front desk asked if we needed to use the pull-put sofa, which we did. So she gave us fresh sheets, a duvet, and one pillow to put on it. When we got to the room, the pull out was already made up, but clearly had been used previously. There appeared to be only one person on duty, so rather than request to have it changed, we just did it ourselves so we could go to bed without waiting. There were a few spots in the tub corners that could have been better cleaned, appeared to have some mildew building up. But the beds were comfortable, there were enough towels in the bathroom, the room was quiet, and we could all stay in one room for a decent price, close to our route of travel.
