We liked the location and the room. There is some noisy construction work going on in the resort and in the buildings nearby. However, we decided to stay for two weeks.

The rooms are excellent and spacious. We have stayed here in the past. Understanding that they just went through a serious hurricane and the area is recovering. However, I do believe they understated how much work and noise was being generated to the buildings exterior. This noise echoed thru the walls. Workers start at 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mon thru Fri. No need for an alarm clock as their hammer drills will wake you up which is pretty much constant. The pool was open but there was quite a bit noise and debris falling into the pool from the work being done. I do believe they are trying very hard to get the renovation complete and may have jumped the gun opening prior to completion.

The apartment was good. Wish the owners had more beach things available like toys and wagons like other beach front properties we’ve stayed at. Also the construction Was a big inconvenience. They said it doesn’t start until 8am but the construction workers got there before and were very loud. Then the smell from the porter potties was terrible.

Every was excellent but we can’t enjoy the pool because they explained us it was missing the motor which we understood

4 hours before check in time received a call.
Pool was closed due to storm that happened 2 weeks ago. They offered cancellation with full refund and optionfor a pool 3 miles away on a sister hotel.
We ended up going and went to sister hotel once for the pool.

The hotel is great with families great location
The only negative is the workers I understand they need to fix the damages from the hurricane but 7am is too early. Also the manager the older gentlemen needs to be more friendly.

The hotel was under construction and it was terribly noisy. The workers were outside our window from 8am to late. Otherwise we loved the room accommodations. But the noise was bad.

We stayed in a 3 person bay view apartment. It was perfectly fine, maybe needed some cosmetic updates. Due to Hurricane Ian in 2022 the property is undergoing exterior repairs. Completely understandable, and didn't really affect our stay. The surrounding area is still recovering as well. Fort Myers is beautiful, and Gullwing was great as well. My only issue is that they did not disclose the ongoing construction on the exterior until after we booked. Very nice place, affordable, and we will be back.

This review is really not fair as the resort is being restored due to Ian. The unit was very nice and even luxurious but the patio had a thick layer of cement dust and workers were stripping the stucco off scaffolding, destroying our privacy and producing ungodly noise levels. We were given short notice just prior to trip to expect inconvenience, but too short to cancel flights and other reservations. Under other circumstances I would recommend this resort, but at this time I would say go elsewhere or stay home. By the way, the staff were great, but their hands were tied.

I was unaware it would have been helpful to rent a car due to its location.
The area and building was still under construction. Noisy during the week.
No restaurant or food in the building. Store was 1 1/2 miles away so on first day I had not way to buy food until I rented a bike the next day. Or rent an Uber.
Condo was amazing!! Beach front. Clean and large open concept. Large balcony.
Would have been great if they also provided beach chairs and umbrella instead of having to rent $35/day.

It's a quiet property, great for sharing with the family. I would like to give thanks to Eddie's customer service support all the time. It's my third time on this property and I recommend it for vacation time with the family.

The website doesn’t do the rooms justice. The suites are top notch and the location is absolutely perfect. The staff both before our check in and during our stay were friendly and helpful. We will for sure be back. Exceeded expectations in every way.

Great location on the beach. Has a pool and hot tub along with a full kitchen so you can prep your own meals and save money. The staff was amazing!! We will definitely stay there again when we're in Ft. Meyer's.

Fantastic beach front property. We stayed in a two bedroom suite and it was so spacious. The kitchen was stocked and the views were amazing. The place was so clean! We were thrilled with the resort and definitely will return. I think this beach front resort is a 4 star establishment.

Fantastic room. 2 great bedrooms and 3 eating areas Very good kitchen appliances.
Just sad due to hurricane destruction. Publix grocery open but little else. Still good for us to support the recovery by the properties that are open.

We have a year without visiting Fort Mayers, because of the hurricane. I need to say that the property was fabulous! My family and I have a great last week vacation before school. Beautiful beach, the pool was refreshing for the kids, the apartment was spectacular with a stunning view.

The GullWing was a great stay for our family. Our son had a baseball tournament and we wanted to stay near the water. Despite the devastation that occurred with Hurricane Ian we were happy to help the local community with their rebuilding. Yes the pool was closed and the surrounding area is still in sad conditions but we didn’t mind. We just booked again for July 28-31 🙏

This is my second time at this property. It is impressive, with good comfort and amenities. Although this time the dryer in my apartment is not working properly. But the property, overall, is very good, clean, they have good customer service, and most importantly, it's close to the beach.

Beach access and a pool. Great time with family. Very nice accommodations and located in a quieter part of the beach which we enjoyed with a 3 year. We added a night when we arrived we liked it so much.
