Great little hotel. Beautiful, spacious rooms, friendly staff.

This was a quaint property outside of Kaiserslautern. Although there was not much parking immediately near the property. There was a free lot 2 blocks away. Our room was a little tricky to get to, but the room itself was huge and very clean The area surrounding the property was absolutely stunning.

Huge, clean room in lovely family run hotel. Managed to park our car in their small garage too which was a bonus.

This is likely a private hotel, a renovated private house. The rooms location is convoluted and you need to take a kot if stares, although the lift is available but does not go to all floors so you will need to takes stairs in some areas. The room is excellent and clean with a big and nice bath tab (the family room for 3 people). Please be aware that the service is very helpful and friendly but not quite professional and you will need to ask for things, such as toilet paper, as they forget to provide extra. The reception is closed at 7pm, so there is no service support after that. There are no phones in the room either. Overall excellent hotel, but you need to check before 7pm if you need any additional things for your room, such as coffee, toilet paper or water.

Staff was very friendly and helpful.

My party of 6 ladies stayed in 3 rooms, each had its own character & charm. Jessica and her husband {proprietors }were simple the best! Spoke English better then some Americans, helped us with every need we asked about, from restaurants, reservations, where the nearest this or that is, we could even get tickets to boat tours, cable car ,right at the front desk and have the charges go directly on our bill. Breakfast was very nice , the staff surpassed every expectations, always checking to make sure we had enough coffee, eggs, etc . We left early in the morning, & since we had paid for breakfast a sandwich , apples and water were waiting for us. I can not say enough good things about our entire experience at this hotel, incredible!

Centrally located in Rudesheim am Rhein, this hotel was a pleasure to stay at. The staff were warm and welcoming, and extremely helpful when asked any questions about the hotel and surrounding area. Near to the historic old town area, sights-of-interest and restaurants were all within a short walking distance from the hotel. For those who prefer to start their day with a breakfest, the hotel buffet in the morning was excellent. this is an ideal place to stay for any holiday traveller.

Beautiful hotel and our room had a beautiful view of the town. Friendly front desk staff. We weren't able to have breakfast because of our schedule, so I can't rate that.

Super nice hotel newly refurbished and rooms are with AC. The staff are the most wonderful and warm people we have ever met. They made our stay even better and extra star to the hotel just because of them :)

The staff was awesome, beds were comfortable, room was very clean and the breakfast was terrific! They have rooms with AC—you have to ask for them. Carmen is lovely!

Nice hotel in a quiet street just outside the main tourist area. A few minutes easy walk down to the Rhine or up into the vineyards. The hotel is newly renovated and rooms are equipped with A/C and a small fridge, but no elevator if you need that. We had a 35m2 three-person room which was nicely separated (no door) for two and one person with a large bathroom. Breakfast is good and the wi-fi is excellent. The hotel has two parking spots, but there is a large car park just around the corner. Expect 10€ per day either place.

I loved the room, but it was quite a way from train station; dragging luggage up hill. The staff wasn't available after 19:30, which I knew about in advance. We had an issue with the TV. which was a huge deal for my husband but we couldn't reach anyone to find out what we were doing wrong. We finally figured it out. As i said, room was exceptional and staff was very friendly.

Amazing hardworking staff! Diane was the best! Always ready to help with a smile. Excellent location for walking to everything. for a very small fee parking on site on a motorized car lift. (they were super accommodating in helping us get it in and out every day when we wanted to explore the area) Huge Bfast buffet with eggs, bacon and sausage, lots of meats and cheeses and fresh bread from neighborhood bakery! room was spacious and clean. strong WIFI.

Had a great stay and certainly appreciated the free upgrade. Location is fabulous. 5 min walk to the river and main sites. Breakfast is plentiful- costs 9 euros pp. Suggestion: please offer still water at breakfast and for sale! Always feeling dehydrated in Germany.

We had a delightful stay at Hotel Zum Baren. Our family room was air conditioned (great for us Americans), and featured a large bathroom with tub and shower head, as well as a refrigerator. Linens were quality, and we had a great view from our top-floor room as well. Location is fantastic - everything is within walking distance, including sights along the Rhine, shopping and restaurants. Would stay again!
