Excellent room highly recommended with a seaview wot could be better!

2 night stay, very good breakfast, we has room on 2 nd floor, warm and quiet. Room had double bed, which seemed small, room could have easily accommodated a king size bed. Room was very clean and recently refurbished and was generally comfortable with 2 easy chairs and a desk chair. We had a room at the rear, not a sea view, but the rear looked over the estuary as was more interesting. We ate in the hotel restaurant and felt it was quite average. We’d stay here again.

Everything was top rate. Only one thing - upstairs the corridor outside, and inside my room was really far too hot and the water was scalding too. But the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Excellent location. Room good value for money other than being too hot! Hit and miss service at reception and at breakfast, but sometimes the service was excellent and the food was always delicious.

Beautiful hotel by the sea with outside terrace

We enjoyed a wonderful night in the Brudenell to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. It is a lovely modern and clean hotel set on the promenade with fabulous beach and sea views. The room had everything we required for a comfortable nights stay and bed was very comfy. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and made you feel very welcome. We enjoyed a very tasty breakfast. We will definitely be returning as had such a lovely stay.

Had a lovely break the only down side was the parking

Nice double room, with a non-sea view but nice view of the flatlands behind the hotel. Breakfast was very tasty but waited 40 mins for hot food on the Sunday of our stay, despite having a reservation for the meal. Bit noisy, but not unexpected for a decent size hotel.

I have always enjoyed this hotel with its stunning location. I was disappointed by some staff indifference and obvious lack of care for the comfort of guests.

Hotel and staff very pleasant however the room was very noisy, from the lift noise and water pipes banging.

We stayed with our dog in room 210. There was a down of dog treats in the room which was a nice touch. Room was big and had a balcony from which we could see the sea. Staff were great as was the food

It was quite near to town centre and very easily accessible by walk towards town centre and beach. I booked a standard room but i was bit disappointed by the size of the room.

The hotel is on the beach and close to the town centre. Lovely walks on the beach. Hotel staff very friendly. Delicious breakfast each day. Enjoyed dining both in and out of the hotel. Not far to RSPB Minsmere. Boats to look at on the sea. Well maintained property nicely decorated.

Short staffed. Staff did not have enough knowledge of food. Told my food would be warm, but came straight out if the fridge.

The entrance to hotel and surrounding area are disappointing,once you are in its lovely . Overlooks the sea for dining . Staff super friendly. Would definitely go again

Had a lovely stay at the Brundenell. The staff were all lovely and attentive and two amazing evening meals and top notch breakfast. No complaints, would stay again x

We had a lovely short break at the hotel. Staff were excellent - helpful and very polite. It was just a shame that we were only staying one night. The car park was small but as we got there quite early we didn’t have a problem. Right on the beach was perfect. I would highly recommend and I would definitely go back again

Lovely stay by the sea. Great restaurant, wonderful staff and brilliantly equipped room. The only negative was that in our room the walls were very thin and we were woken by our neighbours who came back late (and then heard every word they said for the next fifteen minutes before they went to bed). But that may have been our specific room as we were in a side corridor apart from the other rooms. Would still recommend!

2nd stay here and really enjoyed both Aldeburgh and the hotel. Room was on the small side for a double but as it was only me no problem. Might be a squeeze for 2 people. Bathroom had been renovated recently and was very bright and spacious. My only complaint was the room was next to the lift which made an annoying whirring noise every time it went up and down. However after 10pm hardly anyone used it so didn’t disturb my sleep. Staff were all very friendly and helpful - did try and find me another room but couldn’t sort one out. Food was very good - both my dinner and breakfast. Parking can be a bit of a problem - hotel only has a small car park and a few spaces in a garage opposite. However you can park for free along the path in front of the hotel. Will definitely stay here again next time I visit Aldeburgh.

It was lovely we will definitely come back but would have a sea view room next time. Unfortunately we didn’t sleep very well as above us was quite noisy but this could not have been avoided. We could have asked to move but for a 2 night stay we didn’t want to upheave.

Only one might but we were welcomed warmly and the service for breakfast was lovely.

Overall a very enjoyable stay. Parking initially an issue partly due to lack of clarity in the description of the hotel. However it was resolved well enough at reception. Friendly service from all staff encountered but at breakfast items needed to be asked for more than once which detracted from an otherwise enjoyable meal. Dog made very welcome- a definite plus.
