Charming hotel with excellent staff and service, plus a great restaurant for evening meals. The only small downside is that it is a couple of kms from the main tourist zone, but that is a short walk and they have frequent minibus transfers for guests

We loved our stay at Ville sull'Arno as part of our honeymoon. The room was spacious and clean, and we had a great patio view of the river! The breakfast options were great, and the restaurant was also fantastic. The location was quiet and picturesque, while still only a 10-minute taxi ride to the city-center. However, one extremely disappointing staff interaction upon our arrival brings the score down to 4 stars, in what otherwise would easily have been a 5-star experience.
We also gave 4 stars for the location only because some individuals may not enjoy the more secluded location that is a bit farther away from the "hub" of Florence. However, we very much enjoyed being in a quiet area, which was only a 10 minute taxi ride from the center of Florence.
The staff was great during our actual stay, though we put 3 stars because there was extreme inflexibility with our hotel-arranged driver from the Florence airport. When we arrived in Florence, we realized that one of our checked bags of luggage had been left behind by the airline in Amsterdam. We called the hotel to see if they could push-back the driver's time about 1.5 hours to 2 hours to enable us to sort through the lost and found process with our airline and file our missing baggage claim with the airport staff, but the hotel was unwilling/unable to do so. This resulted in us being charged 75 Euros for a "no show" fee for the driver. The lack of flexibility our empathy for our situation was extremely disappointing.

Beautiful place authentic Tuscanian decor. Staff very helpful and pleasant 24/7 always ready to assist. Rooms big enough village type with nice bathroom size. Only thing had to walk 20sh minutes but safe no problem. Definitely awesome for place.

Resort hotel in Firenze, one of the busiest town in Italy. (Don't try to walk from Town to hotel, though). Nowhere else can concur the serene sight of River Arno from Hotel early in the morning.

Friendly staff and the hotel was very clean. Made an error in the previous review regarding the VIP. I misunderstood what the status meant. Qverall, my stay was relaxing and comfortable.

Was an easy cab ride to Duomo area of Florence. We liked the pool area for late afternoon rest before dinner back in the center of town. If it was not 95 degrees we would have rode bikes in they give you for free.. Cab ride was 14 dollars with was pricey. Rooms were top of the line!!! One of the best rooms in all of our trip over 3 weeks in ITALY.

Wonderful staff, clean and renovated rooms, pool is great for the Firenze heat. A little far from city centre but there is a frequent complimentary shuttle to and from the hotel.

This hotel is an oasis close to city center of Florence. It allowed us to rejuvenate in the middle of a 10 day vacation traversing Italy. The pool was wonderful, the suite was extremely comfortable, and the food was absolutely delicious! We would come back in a heartbeat!

Just left the hotel - fantastic property which is a little off the beaten path outside of the main touristy areas for a quieter experience. The property itself has great amenities and fantastic staff. Food was excellent as well. Rooms are very small and if you’re not used to certain shower nuances then you’ll need to adjust but everything is first rate.

This place was not quite at the level as presented. While the staff was cordial, we experienced better service at both cheaper and more expensive hotels. Some requests to reception took multiple requests before they would be addressed. We ordered lunch from room service, the food was horrible.

Excellent place to enjoy Firenze without having to endure the crowds. Nicely situated on the Arno, complete with a fantastic restaurant and helpful and friendly staff. This is my second time to the Villa and I would return. Take one of the bikes available and explore Firenze.

Loved the location and service from each individual my husband and I encountered. Walking distance to the plazza de la republica where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. It’s approximately a half hour walk but so worth it. Bring your comfy shoes! Food was amazing in the hotel restaurant loved the breakfast buffet worth the $25 euros for it! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much for a great stay and we hope to visit real soon!

Lovely hotel right on the river Arno. 1.5 mile walk to town but hotel has a great shuttle service and the bus stop is also only a few minutes walk. Breakfast was really nice, staff very friendly and helpful. Room very clean and comfortable. Spa area was really nice, used it three times during our stay, one hour included per day, pool with jets, sauna and steam room. Had it to ourselves each time as we were there in low season. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in Florence.

This is a nice hotel but overpriced and all about money. The breakfast is 25 euros per person and we had barely started eating the buffet before the waiter started trying to collect money. We ate lunch here and it was very overpriced for basic food (35 euros for a glass of red wine!!!). The controls on the hot water in the shower were broken. Otherwise it’s a nice setting.

1) Check-in was supposed to be 2pm. But the room was ready at 2:50pm.

Our room was so big and comfortable, the hotel grounds are beautiful. We were hoping to swim but there was a rainstorm during our stay. I will say it is a bit of a walk to the city center but we used the hotel shuttle which was great and taxis. The hotel staff was so helpful and kind. They even gave us a little bag of snacks and waters when we left. We would highly recommend this hotel!

A lovely large villa. We had a beautiful large room with beautiful views of the river from our balcony. A few things though disappointed me and made our stay less than perfect.
1. The property provides free shuttle to the centre. However this is not there in the afternoon. It is about 10-15 mins away from the centre and costs €20 each way by taxi. Not a deal breaker though.
2. I called the hotel when I was booking the stay a few months ago to check if the room we weee booking had a queen bed and 2 proper single beds as our children are 16 and 13. I was assured they were proper single beds. However one was a sofa divan type thing with a good mattress and the other was a pop up bed which was very unsatisfactory.
3. The food is very expensive and unfortunately there was nothing on the menu we saw we would like. Most good restaurants are in the centre. But the hotel allows food delivery which is good.
4. Only 1 bottle of water provided for a family of 4. All hotels I have stayed in have provided 2-4 bottles.
5. The outdoor pool is not heated which is ok. It is quite small and has a depth of 1.7m. So younger children would not really enjoy this.
6. The indoor spa and pool has to be booked for a 1 hour slot. We missed our slot due to train cancellations one day the youngsters were disappointed, we were really hoping to relax after a whole day at Cinque Terra.
All in all, nice hotel but less than satisfactory stay for us. I guess it would be nice for couples.

Beautiful setting along the river. Great restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Spacious room, clean, well maintained and beautiful furnishings. Only thing not amazing were the pillows which were a little flat. Staff was very helpful and helped me retrieve my cell phone from a taxi that I left it in - avoided a huge inconvenient tragedy! My wife wants to go back and the rest of our trip now is being measured against this hotel..

Shuttle to city center was convenient and easy, staff was attentive and accommodating pool and spa were great as well.
