Whole hotel stunk. Windows are unable to open. All of the furniture and walls were falling apart an nasty looking the pull out couch still had sheets from the whoever last stayed and wouldn’t give me new ones after only a sheet

My daughter left her tablet in our room under the pillows well she didnt tell us till about 8 hours later after we were home that she left it there, and when i called the hotel and told them they said no one found it and no turned anything in, room service cleaned out room shortly after we checked out, because they were cleaning the room next to ours when we left.

It's been a good experience overall. Rooms are nice and beds are comfortable.

The stay started off rough with our first room having a terrible Oder. The front desk staff was nice and moved our room. The second room had broken furniture and still had a unpleasant smell.

The manager was absolutely terrible. None of the key cards would open our door so a manual key was needed. The night after a long day, the key card reader quit working and the manager (in Baltimore) told the front desk to put us in another room without our things. We were told he’d be there by 7am the next morning. He was not. We had to wait 2.5 hours for him to drive from his house to let us in our room so we could get our things and go home. All of this could’ve been avoided had they placed us in a different room as soon as the key reader quit working the FIRST time. Staff was wonderful, manager was the worst.

They will over charge you card at check in. They over charged me $100. Breakfast staff was rude.

The one elevator to the second floor was all the way in the back of the building. If you had luggage and a room near the front of the building, you either had to carry up your gear to the second floor or walk down the first floor hall to the back of the building, take the elevator and then walk back to the front of the building.
Breakfast was good with choices. Saturday's breakfast was replenished well, Sunday's not so much. You had to ask for plates and other things that were not replenished.
Staff was nice and cordial. Rooms had refrigerators where they actually worked well.

We got there late @MN. Front desk lady was very nice and professional. Room was nice and cool. Only thing was the fridge making this ticking noise that made it hard to sleep. AC works great specially with the heat. Some painted area needs repainting. not bad considering it’s only overnight stay.

The hotel was old and the carpets in the hallways and in the room were filthy. I had to always wear my flip flops going from the bed to the bathroom to not touch the floors with my feet. The carpets need to be taken out.

We stayed in a double queen bedroom. I was not made aware of the remodeling of the hotel until we arrived. Staff was friendly, but the stay was less than stellar from other stays at the same hotel chain. The hotel only had one elevator located on the far end of the hotel. There is only one ice machine located in the hotel lobby. The room smelled musty walking in the room but later goes away once the air conditioner kicks in. The room itself was typical, nothing stood out as outstanding in terms of comfort or amenities. Breakfast was provided and was fine. Overall, don’t expect to be wowed by this particular hotel, but at least the room didn’t smell of cigarette smoke. My father stayed in another room and his TV did not operate and his toilet didn’t work.

Little old being renovated was assigned a handicap room

Looks okay on the outside. Lots of signs stating that they are renovating, but why I wasn't given a renovated room is beyond me. Lets start with simple items. Insufficient drapes blown up and away when the AC are on. Obviously I see out and others see in.
Toilet seat mis-match (one is round, the other was elongated). Front desk acknowledged that.
Threadbare floor (I can't call it a rug) with a hole in the floor.
Electrical outlet fully pulled out of the wall with exposed wiring. Safety hazard.
Spent one night, had paid for 2 nights. I came back to it on the 2nd night and fed up with the condition, backed up and checked out.

Lobby presentation was very clean, warm, welcoming, and the staff members were friendly and welcoming. Very accommodating and kind.

The staff is excellent! They are friendly and helpful to everyone. The hotel is in sad condition but is being renovated. But some things are just housekeeping fix it. Drapes hanging from the rod is not necessary. 1 little bar of soap in the bathroom for the sink and shower.?? The clock is unplugged from behind the bed.? Just the little things.

First off the stay was OK when we got into our room we noticed there’s a little bit of a smell, but we didn’t put it past anything, but I will say the carpets in that room were nasty stained soiled and needed to be cleaned and there was a piece of furniture missing from the corner of the room, closest to the window, and there was no light covering in the bathroom over the one lightbulb it was exposed

We enjoy staying at this hotel because it is a half way stop when we travel from our home in Southampton, NYto our grandchildren's home in Holly Springs, NC!

Convenient location. Checkin was quick and simple. In process of renovating hotel. Wifi was good but get room towards lobby. Breakfast was good and gym was basic and what was needed.

Arrived at the hotel and had a great check in process. Arrived at our hotel room and all seemed good. Set air conditioning and room would not cool down at all with air conditioning being at 60 degrees. Got no assistance with moving rooms or getting issue resolved

While the staff were very accomodating, i found the room itself in very poor condition.
The curtains were torn and broken. There was mold and mildew in the bathroom. The freezer was full of caked on ice. The microwave sounded like it would blow up at any moment.
There was rust all on shower fixtures.

Bedside phone inoperable. Furniture holding tv, microwave & fridge damaged making access to fridge difficult wall outlet between bed & wall needs replacement as plug loose connection. Place needs work.

Check in person was very unwelcoming and inattentive, phone in room didn’t work so unable to call for WiFi password that check in person failed to provide, several locations on the walls had a ketchup like substance on the wall, door deadbolt hole was missing frame and didn’t seem secure

The receptionist was very nice and did the best she could… the overall place is rundown and outdated. Our first room, the shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed because the rod was falling off which led to water everywhere. We asked to move and it wasn’t a problem however we soon realized the sink in this room was spraying water every time you turned it on AND was leaving very bad. The maintenance guy couldn’t come until the next day. And when he did he fixed it as best as he could. The room also had many ants! When we went to the pool, there were no pool towels. We asked for regular towels and they didn’t have any clean… Breakfast was very basic and limited with styrofoam plates… We will not be going back.

Me and my family only stayed for one night. The pictures advertised were definitely when the hotel must have first opened was definitely not what we were expecting. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re going to be bringing children. People were outside partying all night and in rooms as well. (I think a car show was in town). The room was definitely cleaned in a hurry blankets had stains and burn holes as well as mattress covers. The pool was kind of skeptical definitely not how it was pictured. The staff was really friendly but manager looked very overwhelmed. The fire pit sitting area was just a couple chairs around an unlit fire pit that people had beer cans around. Not worth the price in my opinion…

Book 2 rooms for 2 nights, one room the refrigerator and phone didnt work. The other room had no water pressure and had to kill a roach. Closet door broke in both rooms. One of the rroms had the ac off when we arrived, it was 95 outside.
