Very nice hotel. We had a great view and large room. Liked that you could adjust the temperature in the room. Rooms were nice, but could use some updating. Staff very friendly. Overall, a great location. Would go back.

Excellent location, staff and food. Unfortunately the river view has a constant distraction of noisy heavy equipment loading feed from a large barge onto trucks beginning early in the morning all through the day.

Good location, short walk into the town. Parking lot is very small and we were lucky to get a spot. The room was a good size, very clean and updated with a large bathroom and a nice view of the harbor. Breakfast was very good.

Nice rooms. We got upgraded to a Junior suite & it was beautiful & clean. Nice bathrooms. Hotel is walkable to everything & nice to have parking. Only complaint is room was a bit hot and even with the open window, it didn’t cool off too much. I would definitely stay here again. Great place!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Trident. We had a room with a water view and it was so lovely to look out and see the boats. The breakfast was delicious, the staff was very courteous, the hotel itself was clean and conveniently located within walking distance of downtown. The downtown area has a variety of restaurants and pubs and shops - I would HIGHLY recommend staying here and checking out Kinsale.

Easy parking in the winter months since it isn't as busy. We were upgraded to a harbor view and the room is lovely. Loved being able to see the dolphins in the harbor in the morning. Staff is extremely friendly and our overall stay was amazing. We'd definitely come against.

Wonderful hotel ... really enjoyed Kinsale and convenient but quiet. Only problem we had was that there was only a comforter and no sheet - it was a bit warm sleeping - even in October!

This is a great location with the most amazing views of Kinsale. The staff were brilliant. I will be staying here next time I am in Kinsale. Also are in the restaurant and the food was superb.

Trident seems to be the nicest hotel in town and is easily walkable to pubs and restaurants. The setting for breakfast overlooking the marina is lovely :) Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect! The property was very clean and modern. Th rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The Wharf Restaurant was amazing! Food was delicious and service was excellent!

Overall our stay at the Trident was very nice considering the options available in Kinsale.
The location is perfect. The staff very friendly.
The two downsides were the fact that the room had no air con and was very hot, even with the window open. And also we were on the first floor overlooking the car park. The room has huge windows overlooking the busy area and we felt overexposed. The room had blackout curtains and blinds which is fine, but the view is lovely and we’d have preferred lighter curtains so we can still enjoy the view with additional privacy of people being able to see right in at us.
Other than that, everything was great.

Absolutely beautiful hotel by the Marina. The beds are comfortable and the waterfall shower in the bathroom was divine! You can use the indoor pool, sauna and gym at the sister property right door at no fee. The breakfast was really good; ordered eggs Benedict …so good.
