Very convenient hotel with old world charm. Rooms could be greatly improved with tea, coffee and hot pot in room. Breakfast was Ok, not great (lumpy yogurt, overcooked boiled eggs, etc)--sort of institutional.

We happened to be staying in Leipzig on the night of the Festival of Lights which made getting to the property nearly impossible. We spent almost 4 hours trying to find our way into the city and to nearby parking. While this isn't the hotel's responsibility, we certainly would have appreciated better directions and help. Once we finally arrived, we had a difficult time getting the key to our room to work -- not something we really wanted to deal with after all the trouble we had just getting there!

Great location just across the railway station. But the hotel feels really worn down and outdated and could definitely use some renovation. No air conditioning in the room, and it was terribly hot and stuffy in there.

The hotel was really good. I needed a hotel right next to the train station as I was travelling a lot and this was a decent price for a pretty good quality hotel, Leipzig is a compact city so the location was excellent - very close to the historical centre as well as the train station. The staff were friendly and courteous. The room was in a very good condition - it was really spacious with a really nice bathroom and a walk in shower. The equipment was also really good. The only downside was that I had to use an old fashion key rather than a swipe card which would have taken less space in my pocket :-) Otherwise, the service was pretty good and professional. I didn't go for the breakfast as it was quite expensive but otherwise everything was ok. This hotel is a really good choice if you are to travel by train (especially more than once) and also if you are there to enjoy the city centre.

There is no air conditioner at the hotel. It’s so hot in the summer.

We wanted a good quality, reasonably priced hotel close to the railway station for an early departure and we got all we were seeking. The only deficit is its lack of air conditioning which on hot autumn days is significant.

This hotel was selected as it was close to the train station and seemed to be good value. We were using it as an overnight stop after a long overnight flight from Hong Kong and then a 4 hour train trip. It was a good choice on both counts. The room was quite comfy, the breakfast was very good and the room facilities were okay although a bar fridge would have been handy. The hotel staff were very helpful and the booking in time was minimal. The hotel totally served its purpose for our trip.

Everything about the hotel is quite nice. Having the hot breakfast included in the room rate is particularly nice as this can cost you up to €15 per person at most European hotels. Strong pluses: A three minute walk from the train station, an easy ten minute walk to the main square. The downside: no air conditioning. We had to sleep with all the windows wide open all night and this made it noisy at times.

My experience at Victor's Residenz was dissapointing. They checked us in rooms facing the street, and it was too noisy. They don't have a ventilation system, so the rooms are really humid, plus they don't have any A/C so we had to sleep with the windows open. We had a problem with the bathroom sink, it was blocked, therefore we couldn't wash properly. The shower door got stuck and we had to slam the door in order to open it. The only positive thing about our stay was the breakfast. They have a great breakfast, but still we really didn't enjoy our stay. The staff was helpful, but didn't even offer any discounts for our stay, even tho we asked for it. If you are looking for a quite stay, don't choose this hotel.

This hotel is at the edge of the center of the city, so it is an easy walk to the shops, to the churches, etc. The hotel is fantastic. Very professional and helpful staff. The rooms are comfortable, sound isolation was perfect. The breakfast was SUPERB! Internet was ok. An interesting and unexpected plus: unlimited free calls to any country, landlines, mobile phones etc from the room. Really nice! Due to its location, it is not possible to park the car at the front to unload. I read the hotel has its own parking but I didnt use it. I continued one block, turned right one block and found a public parking that was completely free of charge. Very convenient, if you dont mind pushing your luggage about 150m to the hotel door. We had dinnert at the restaurant, and it was delicious. I totally recommend Victors Residenz.

We stayed in a corner twin looking over the central station. Despite the location, it was very quiet at night. Breakfast is not quite special but with a variety of cold meat and cheese. Room is old fashioned but gives us a relief.

We only stay one night here, but it was very comfortable! The English speaking ability of the staff was sort of hit or miss, but we got by!Super close to the hauptbonhof and within a reasonable walk from the zoo and some awesome shopping and eats

Hotel really close to the station, close to city centre and main attractions. Clean and pleasant. Nice staff. An enjoyable stay.

A group of 17 stayed at Victors Residence hotel ,the beds were comfortable ,shower powerful ,breakfast fantastic selection ,finally the staff service and friendliness was excellent right down to the printing of 17 boarding passes for our for each of our 3 home ward flight to the U.K. We will use this hotel brand in the future if available.

We loved our stay here. It is perfectly centered near the train station and the town center. The staff is welcoming and helpful. We were greeted with fresh lemonade and pleasant smiles. The room was very nicely decorated and very clean. The breakfast was to die for - and included in the rate, which we found very reasonable. We would stay there again.

Fantastic hotel. Great rooms, with a superb restaurant, friendly staff and you couldn't ask for a better location.

Very clean, great staff, great location. The breakfast was amazing and the service was very attentive. Only complaint the wi-fi was a little spotty from time to time.

Stayed here for four nights August 2011 - clean hotel and friendly staff, especially if you make the effort and speak to them in German. Hotel restaurant (Snug) was used and found to be very good value for money, even compared with outlets in the city. Would recommend, and will probably try some of the other hotels in the group.
