Great place to stay.

Good room other than NO AIRCONDITIONING

Really old and run down. Spend a little more and stay somewhere else.

We recently (8/2024) stayed at the Pokolodi Lodge for 3 nights. We had a great stay here. The room was very comfortable, along with the bed, bedding and towels. We had a refrigerator in the room which was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we had questions. The GM was as well. They had coffee in the room and in the lobby which was appreciated. The breakfast offerings always stayed replenished. The hotel was in great shape and clean inside and out. The pool and pool area was also very clean and convenient. There is a very nice large grass area to enjoy if you want to throw a football or frisbee or just take in the sun. For Snowmass Village and hiking trails the location is excellent. We would absolutely stay here again.

Found out upon arrival that there isn’t direct parking for this motel, but small parking areas along the steep hill leading up to it. We checked in on a Thursday and apparently there are free concerts in the proximity of the motel on Thursday nights during the summer. Due to this we had to park at the bottom of the hill and walk up after 8 hours of being in the car. This could not be avoided, but a heads up email would have been nice so we were prepared for that. It’s very upsetting when you’re dead tired and just want to lay down! Also, this motel does not have air conditioning which we also didn’t find out until arrival. There was a box fan in the room that was very very loud. We were told to put it in the window facing out to cool the room. This would work unless you had the room we did on ground level and directly in front of a pool shared by three motels. We couldn’t leave because we would lose our parking space at the bottom of the hill and couldn’t hear the tv over the fan and 20ish people in the pool. When leaving the room or sleeping we didn’t want to leave the window open and so suffered a hot and loud night of misery! We walked out to the parking area to look at stars and there was a man screaming obscenities and provoking a fight for about 20 minutes before we went back in to drown it out with the fan. I was going to politely mention these things when we were leaving but wasn’t asked how my stay was.

AC was not there

The room was perfect....comfortable bed,,,great shower...and very clean; the provided breakfast was perfect; the staff and management were very friendly and helpful; the property was conveniently located in snowmass village with great accessibility to local events (music, rodeo), food, and shopping.plus getting to neighboring towns was very doable.....I could not have reserved a better place for our stay in Colorado...

Spent 3 night's at Pokolodi lodge. Very comfortable room. Great access to Snowmass Village mall. Shuttle busses just outside the door. Went all the way to Aspen! Would stay again.

Great staff, comfortable rooms, rustic feeling but v clean. Location is fantastic! Owen was friendly and professional at the front desk. We felt at ease the whole time.

I had a great experience at the Pokolodi! Please do not listen to any of the negative reviews on this place. All of the people who wrote poor reviews are high maintenance boomer pricks. This place is super cute, clean, has great view of the area and very nice staff. The listing states exactly what amenities they offer and clearly some people just don’t read anything before booking. I am very pleased with my stay and would definitely come back. I stayed in July which was pretty warm and even though the rooms do not have A/C, it wasn’t bad and they had a fan. ALSO literally the only hotel I’ve ever been to that has Netflix and other streaming apps. Thank you Dave for providing a great customer experience, I ultimately decided to book because of your stellar responses to reviews.

We stopped here to hike Maroon Bells on our way from Arches National Park to Denver. The service was great. The staff was friendly, and answered all of our questions about hiking in the area, and gave restaurant suggestions. Our room was clean and updated, a quaint vintage ski lodge feel with a nice mountain view. We enjoyed breakfast in the breakfast area, as well as sitting on the patio. The pool, hot tub, and surrounding area was clean and well kept. There are shops and restaurants at the mall that is just across the street, and Aspen is less than a 30 minute drive away. We would definitely stay here again.

Too noisy during night from upstairs. Had issues with check in due to some mistake by staff , got upgraded room but lot of noise from outside n top floor

Right across from Snowmass Mall and local shuttle service. Location is the best, parking across street. Clean, comfortable and quiet.

The parking is not convenient, but the property is good.

Very friendly staff and check in process. A bit noisy as constuction workers began work at 7:20am, which was annoying. Great beds, shower water pressure and location.

Great place to stay right in middle of Snowmass

Pretty basic room, I went with the cheapest option because it was only a room for myself. Great staff, I'd definitely book again. I only came to Aspen/snowmass to hike and try out the restaurants in the area, so I was away from the room for the most part. The whole experience was straight forward and easy.

Very nice place to stay when visiting the area and reasonably priced all things considered. Aspen is an expensive area.
