Ok for the cheap price.
Maybe that's why there was lots of young people (who are not so quiet on the hallway during nights).
Small balcony in the room was nice.
Breakfast wasn't great and the coffee from the machine was not drinkable.

We found a cockroach in our room, (we had two rooms). The A/C didn’t work for two full days, they placed a fan instead, then they finally changed us the room. We (two of us) paid for breakfast. One of us bought breakfast for 3 days and my roommate bought other 3 and plus one. My roommate used all of her breakfast for her and grandkids. I attempted to use my second one when I was surprised by Ryan asking me to go with him to the main hotel where Tony and “G” were. Tony saw us buying all of those breakfast but insisted that my roommate’s grandkids used mine. I explained and Tony agreed that many were bought. Tried to go back to finish my breakfast and in front of all the guests I was told they were going to call the police on me. I requested the police to check the cameras. I was threatened in from off the guests, the took my voucher and then they told me that it was ok, they were going to give me that breakfast for free, after they insisted I had to pay and removed my voucher. At the end, I couldn’t use the rest of the voucher the hotel owes me €8 for the breakfast I didn’t have and a huge apology for embarrassing me in front of the hotel guests. Tony and Ryan made my stay HELL!!! Beware, sometimes saving $100 will ruin your vacation!!

Why did they ask for my account number if they have no intention of refunding my money?
I stayed in a room I shouldn't have (no door handle) for 2 nights even though the hotel overbooked and the manager won't keep his promise.
I have never felt so anxious, scared and angry after staying in a hotel before.
I don't recommend it at all.

Awful from all sides!!! The water was running in the closet all 7 days we stayed there, the balcony door didn’t work well, the floor wasn’t clean when we first came in and even after. Everything is old and needs repairing, very noisy from outside and inside you can hear your neighbours snoring …..etc. I would never recommend !!!!

A very dated hotel. Thankfully I only booked a single night there. Air conditioning didn’t work so they placed a noisy pedestal fan in the room. Bathroom was very old and a bit dirty.
The elevators were terrible with a long wait for them.
The greeting was not exactly polite and zero information given on arrival.
There are two positives. The breakfast is in a different building and is worth taking. The location is pretty good.

It is SO bad. 1* hotel at best.
Staff - So rude, unhelpful, aggressive. Smoking outside reception is not a good look. Asked for them to replace the coffee sachets in the room….still waiting…
Room - Dirty. Towels weren’t changed daily, sheets weren’t clean, the bin in the bathroom was rusty, toilet seat didn’t fit the toilet. Shower head was also loose. The tv also kept randomly coming on during the night.
Wifi - doesn’t work
Breakfast - aboid at all costs. Just depressing. Small selection, stale bread, horrible coffee. We only ate there once.
Elevator - only one of two work and it takes AGES to arrive once you call it.
The ‘cocktail’ bar - just no
The pool - unattended, depressing, umbrellas that fly away at the slightest hint of wind.
I wish I’d read the reviews before booking. It’s truly awful, and I’m not a fussy person. I think the staff were deliberately being rude so people leave bad reviews - maybe the owners are underpaying them or treating them badly. Nothing about this hotel is anywhere near 4*. Do not go here.

I understand you get what you pay for, however this was below expectation for the cheap accommodation! To start with the hotel couldn’t find my booking which wasted half a day of my holiday. The service from one particular employee asvin was far below expectation I’m multiple instances . I was then given a dirty towel by the cleaners. The WiFi was not available in my room so I had to go down to reception to use it. The only positive with this hotel is the great location it provides.

No towels, dirty, not sound proof, very old/ugly settings, staff not very helpful/welcoming (ended up sleeping without wifi or towels in the room, didn’t bother asking as I was only staying 1 night). Toilets were dirty

The room was fine for a short stay and for what you pay. Staff were very helpful both on arrival and leaving. Although walls are very thin so as a light sleeper I could hear everyone coming and going! Other than that no complaints

I stayed at this Hotel 8/9 yrs ago , today it’s like a very low warn out establishment Only 1 out of 3 lifts work, No Restaurant, rooms extremely sparce, I had 3 rooms, first room already occupied, 2nd room bathroom flooded, 3rd room door card constantly not working. Breakfast appalling !! Very very little choice, sliced white cheap bread, scrambled egg, sausages, bacon & beans, fruit juice, tea/coffee machines, 3 cereals, whole milk, yogurt. Guests constantly complaining at Reception, see pictures

There’s a few small things this hotel could do to bring it back up to 4star status, having one of the lifts out of order doesn’t help, also the indoor pool and hottub need to be back up and running.
Some sound proofing in the rooms would be nice, mine was near the (working) lift which I could hear very clearly everytime it was used. (Take earplugs!) The WiFi is a bit patchy too, the TV in my room was temperamental and the water pressure is an issue - takes ages to run a bath!
But the staff were very welcoming and helpful, the room was a good size and clean, the bed was comfortable and overall I feel I got great value for money.

Check in was a mess. Staff argued about rooms available, and my room wasn’t available until 2 hours after the check in was supposed to start. Elevator was constantly broken, had to go up to the 4th floor via stairs that wound past construction work. WiFi was constantly out, pool and sauna were not open. Bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Shower had no door, so bathroom floor was constantly wet. Breakfast consisted of horrible eggs, raw bacon, decent sausage, and beans. Toast and cheap packaged pastries, cereals were also available.

Most stuff weren't working. Room key card always faulty. Leaking roof, no wi-fi on second day. Only one of the lifts (super slow) worked.

While the staff were excellent and the AC worked well, everything else made me sad I chose this property, which is one of the worst "hotels" I've stayed in. The staff need taxes paid in cash, but don't have change. The property looks nice when you enter, but doesn't hold true once you get into the elevator and your room. The place was very dirty and dated and they claim they have free onsite parking (the only reason I chose this place) but you are left to park in the street. The water pressure was terrible and sometimes cut out and couldn't provide water at all and there were power outages while there. The lift was down most of the time and they were doing construction, even while trying to sleep, so my bed was shaking from their drilling while trying to sleep. The bed was somewhat comfortable, but the pillows were lumpy and the lighting in the room was terrible. This is the 2nd worst "hotel" of thousands I've stayed in. Save your money and sleep literally anywhere else, I wish I did! This place was not worth the money.

Construction work all week on level 3, half 8 every morning loud noise from builiding, no mention of this ongong when checking in, hotel porters very inconsiderate of guest, very loud and i heard a few arguments - i would stay again as very cheap and great location, hopefully next time the Construction if complete

It is what it is, 4 nights bed and breakfast for £118.00, comfortable rooms in an area a couple of minutes away from the lovely Sliema Prom.

From the reviews I was kind of accepting walking into a problematic hotel, but I was optimistic because it wasn't the high season. I was wrong.
Breakfast was bad. Large bowls with yogurt that no one touched, I have no idea if they switched from one day to the other, I've nerver seen such a thing. Cheap bread, bland eggs, badly cooked bacon, limited cheap choices. No healthy choices
Room ok-ish, bathroom deserved to be cleaned a lot better. Lots of noise from inside the hotel, you'll ear everything from the corridors and the elevator.
One day I didn't have hot water, the other days I had to wait a few minutes to have hot running shower.
It says it has 4 stars... no way in hell.

Positives: Good room, reasonable location and excellent staff. Negatives: the Wi-Fi fluctuated between patchy and non-existent. The shower was very basic too.

Major attention to detail needed (I don’t know what their maintenance staff are doing).
Painting on the walls and door frames on the 5th floor look like it was done by an 8 year old, the swimming pool steps are missing screws and are loose, the toilet by the pool has no toilet seat, the indoor pool is a building site (not that we would have used it), the jacuzzi looks grimy, one of the lifts has an exposed wire showing and you have to constantly ask reception to renew your room key card as the magnetic system does not work.
Maybe as it was near the end of the Summer season these jobs will be rectified over the Winter months as has the potential to be a good hotel.
Unfortunately due to the current general maintenance issues we wouldn’t return!

Hotel is in decent condition. However reception staff needs to be more friendly and better trained.
Twice they could not give my change for the fees they charged me. And one of them forgot to give it back to me.

Worst Hotel we have ever stayed in. Door card never worked half the time. Hand and bath towels were taken away during cleaning and never replaced. Bath towels took six days for clean ones. They were soaking wet and just folded back up and put on the bed. Door handle came off everytime we opened the door. Fridge was not working except for the light. Tv was not working. Water bottles and buckets outside of the door from water leakage. Doors punched in, indoor swimming pool closed. Outdoor swimming pool had glass at the bottom of the steps. Staff rude when we complained. Bottom sheet was taken away on the second day and not replaced.

Good notes: super cold air conditioning that performed at it‘s best during a heat wave. There was also a large industrial fan provided.
Bad notes: I was greeted by a family already quite comfortable in my hotel room, but was quickly given a new room. Stains on the sheets and duvet. Crunchy thin towels, little to no water pressure and the shower head wall attachment was non existent. Questionable clothing items from the previous tenant were found on the balcony.
Upon checking out, we were rushed to leave our room prior to check out time three times by housekeeping.

The Hotel itself need to be managed much better in terms of cleaning and maintenance of the general areas. The bedroom and bathroom was clean and comfortable.
The bar fridge only operates when the key card is in the slot in the room so when you leave the fridge goes out and gets mouldy and smelly. Some electrical sockets did not work and others crackle when in use.

Tired property with terrible customer service. Never stay here. Everything is broken, including our balcony door, shower door, shower faucet, outlets, elevator, breakfast room. The indoor pool and hot tub have not worked in years. Expedia should ban this hotel from their site.

It is a cosy place but the breakfast was a literal car crash … during my whole stay there was a school trip and there was never food left for breakfast, constantly something wasmissing - relaxing breakfast? No! A pity that the hotel staff didn’t worry about any other guest and their comfort!! Very disappointing!

Worst service i have ever experienced in a hotel! Hotel is dated but thats fine. Only 1 elevator currently works (barely!), also cracks in bathroom floor and things missing like shower pressure and curtains. All forgetable were it not for the following. Turns out my room didnt lock upon closing keycard door. This did not feel comfortable so i asked reception for fix/new room. Lady at reception did not seem to care and casually told me manager might look at it at night or in the morning. This is no way to treat a guest or in anyway an acceptable stay. New room wasnt available, and although lock sort of fixed in the evening, it ruined my stay. Avoid this place!
