Wonderful historic hotel, refurbished and managed to a very high standard.

In the middle of everything and a quick walk to ski! Great food, historic place, and friendly people at the hotel and around town!

The service has been fantastic everywhere on property. The restaurant was quite good albeit expensive. The hotel is very quiet and the bed is quite comfortable. Centrally located on the main street for ease of shopping or enjoying other restaurants and pubs.It is short 5 minute walk to the gondola for skiing.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with a delicious steakhouse restaurant! Rooms are very clean with great amenities like a sound machine and heated bathroom floors. The downside, parking is a nightmare.

Great staff. Super nice room

The hotel is quaint and very conveniently located. The rooms and bathrooms are very nice. The only thing we did not like was that you have to unload next door in front of the courthouse and there were no spots there when we arrived. This was particularly annoying because it was raining. The hotel has free parking but the spaces are very limited. For the price of the rooms, they should offer valet parking.

Great staff - front desk, restaurants and bartenders! Rooms are large and the whole place is well maintained. Two down side - PARKING. You will be parking on the street. The hotel provides a free pass, but you need to find the parking space. Not an easy task during some times of the day. Know your license plate number for check in. NOISE. If you pay extra for a street view room, you will be woken up by delivery trucks unloading between 6 and 7 am. Non-winter months are the worst because you will have the windows open - the hotel does not have a/c. All-in-all this is a very nice hotel!!

Very cute hotel in the heart of Telluride. Room was spacious and well appointed. Service was excellent!! Everyone at the hotel / bar / restaurant was keen to make our stay great. They are bringing the fun & glamour back in travelling :)) Definite repeat.....

Restaurant was open at 8 am, so on a departure day we couldn’t have a breakfast. Hotel is in a perfect location, but in the morning little noisy, 7 am snow crews are working.

This is a restored hotel done right. While quite modern in terms of comforts, the appearance as a late 19th century has been preserved. The staff is friendly, and we had plenty of greetings and offers to help (such as with luggage). We found our room to be very comfortable, and the large bath may well be the cleanest hotel (or other) such room we've ever seen. We did not try the premier dining room, the night we set aside for that they had a private party. We had breakfast in the parlor one morning. While the classic eggs benedict looked great, they were served at room temperature. The main bar had a private party on our arrival night, but we did get a chance for a beverage there one afternoon. Its a beautiful period bar with a full selection of beverages. Parking is free, but its on nearby streets (with a permit). Not an issue in good weather.

Vintage-type historical hotel which is neat. Wish they had better ways to cool the rooms- there is no air conditioning and the little cooling fan unit doesn’t do much. It was too hot in there! Windows sometimes difficult to open/close. The mattress was quite lumpy though not uncomfortable. Bathroom nice and big. Wish there was a mini fridge - and AC! Great location and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants, and 10 min walk to grocery store. Staff very friendly.

Historically interesting but noisy being an old building.

A wonderful hotel right in the middle of everything. We walked to attractions, the gondola, museum, historical building tour, and fantastic restaurants. The staff was great and the views from the rooftop bar are not to be missed!

One bad: a reservation labeled as Standard Room, 1 King Bed, City View (Main Street Rooms), should not have an alley view of the roof above where the trash is dumped. City View, Main Street Room, told me my room was located on the front side of the hotel with a view of the main street. I understand now that hotels give their worst rooms to third party sites, however there should be better communication between New Sheridan Hotel and at the very least, Hotels.com, to prevent such false advertising. If I'd known the room wasn't guaranteed to have a city view, main street when called a "City View, (Main Street Rooms)," then I would have requested one.

Staff was excellent. Rooms were well appointed and clean.

King bed was two fulls w huge gap in middle. Parking was on street- needed to move vehicle during stay due to snow removal.

Great spot in the center of Telluride! Great room with beautiful modern bathroom. Brunch/lunch with Randel was fantastic, eating outside in the sun, great stay!

Very warm Rocky Mountain welcome by all levels of staff, including help with a thorny package delivery! Great restaurant! We will return.
