I liked the room. I stayed in an accessible room. The bathroom was nice and large. The shower accommodated a wheelchair. Unfortunately some of the water from the shower ran out of the door instead of into the drain. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom.
Breakfast was nice. They served waffles, potatoes and sausages.

Stay was good. Room smelt a bit of sewer upon entry but it got better. Maintainace was responsive.
Black girl at front desk with lots of piercings was a bit rude when we asked for extra towels. She warmed up when we got back. Overall stay was good.

Our daughter ran the NYC Marathon last weekend. The Hampton was close to I-95 with highway access to GWB and also Staten Island and the Verrazano and Goethals bridges. There was a Target, Walmart, Wawa and Starbucks nearby. Also many other retail and restaurant options. The hotel reviews have not been so favorable in the past, but I think there has been a great effort to modernize the Hampton. The room was clean, updated and comfortable. The check in was great with friendly staff to help. We stay in NJ often with family in Brooklyn. I would definitely visit the Hampton again in the future.

From the moment we came in we were greeted with a girl named Ashley which was friendly, kind and great for working the front desk . Nice for just walking in to check in . Even gave us restaurant list . Our room was clean and nice spacious room . Only thing they only give 2 bath towels but next day I got extra one . Lobby was clean and presentable that I even had visitors and felt comfortable there . Area has lots of restaurants and stores even 24 hour grocery store . I was there to visit family and go to a birthday party. Overall was a great stay .

I returned to this Hampton Inn during a trip in August 2024. It was nice to see the property fully renovated since my last trip and the new rooms look great! I had a 1 King "suite" which was a regular king room, but it was spacious, comfortable, and clean! I like the decor and remembered thinking during my last visit years ago it desperately needed renovations.
At Check in, staff was friendly, I had just driven 4 hours, and it was nice to get to the room. However despite booking a suite on hotels.com, I got a regular king room, and I asked for a top floor room not facing the main road. Luckily there was no road noise, but they gave me the opposite of what I requested. I got a first floor room facing the main road and parking lot, so had to completely cover my window for the entire stay for privacy. My room was right by the outside door, which was convenient to load/unload car, giving a motel vibe as it was so close to the car, but I did hear the door slam shut at times from other guests.
The breakfast was good but not great, but there were plenty of choices and variety, eggs and sausage were just okay, and the single waffle machine was often occupied.
I would probably stay here again but it would be nice to have my requests fulfilled. The room was nicely renovated, was clean, but they should say it is a regular king room, not a "suite" in the listing, as that is misleading...

I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment I checked in, I encountered issues that made my stay quite unpleasant.
First and foremost, the customer service was lacking. When I approached the front desk with a question about my room, the staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful. I felt like I was bothering them rather than receiving the assistance I needed.
To make matters worse, when I returned to my room, I discovered that there were no towels available. I called the front desk to request some, but after waiting an unreasonable amount of time, I had to follow up multiple times before I finally received just a few. It was incredibly frustrating.
Additionally, the air conditioning in my room was not functioning properly. It was uncomfortably warm, and despite my attempts to adjust the thermostat, it did not cool down. I ended up having a restless night due to the heat.
Overall, my stay at the Hampton Inn was disappointing. I expected better service and amenities, especially for the price I paid. I hope they can improve their customer service and ensure that basic necessities like towels and functioning AC are consistently available for future guests. I won’t be returning.

This is second time we stayed at this hotel. The room is clean and cozy for our short stay before cruise trip. The breakfast is great with lots of variety. We also love the 24 hrs free coffee at the lobby. Will definitely come back again.

After long hours of driving, arrive for check in by 11:50 pm and waited for 10-15 minutes to check because the front desk either did not know what he was doing or not sure what but kept saying he is unable to collect the money from my paid reservation from Expedia. Final all back an forth, he gave me my room keys... did not make sign anything or ask for my car info..poor checking experience... I also did not appreciate the way he had his cap backwards on his head a front desk person... he did not looked professional or should be checking guests in..

I stayed on the 2nd floor & I’am not sure if housekeeping was rolling their cart every couple of minutes but it was very loud & disruptive. Also the a/c unit was loud hard to get a good night sleep. I would not stay here again and not referring anyone to stay here either.

My bathroom wasn’t cleaned nor where my blankets. I have never stayed at a hotel and had to use shower shoes! I stayed 1 night and that’s was all I would ever in this hotel. Great staff just a dirty hotel. I honestly don’t think my room was really cleaned before we stayed the table was dirty with greases hand prints like someone just got up from eating chicken. My pillows where also dirty! Really nice staff just dirty rooms.

Check in went okay. The AC in the room did not work the entire time. It was hot in the room. When we first reported the the worker claimed he reset it and left. The following night we had the same issue. Breakfast was okay. Coffee and tea served all day. The stay was so so.
