Room smell not good, missing coffee maker.

I was overall extremely impressed with the accommodation at the Baymont. The suite had everything we needed for a family of 5 with 2 dogs. The bonus is that breakfast is servered from 5 to 10 with is perfect for those who get up early or wants to sleep in late. The options for breakfast was astonishing. My little daughter couldn't believe that a hotel had a restaurant in it. So funny. Great place to stay if your needing a good clean little place to stay for awhile on vacation.

Electricity was off, no ac. So, we opted to find another hotel.

DirectTV went out in room for two nights, one set of towels, no coffee maker and front desk unable to provide one, and room had an odd odor….. but for the price I paid I shouldn’t have expected much

Do Not Stay Here! I opened the microwave and there were roaches inside! I killed one to show the front desk employees. Both ladies confirmed it was a roach. I told them there were more all over the fridge so they had the cleaning lady come up to my room with me to confirm. I opened the microwave and they scurried out and across the fridge. We moved the fridge and at least 50 more were behind it! It was absolutely disgusting! The cleaning lady screamed! I took a video to show the front desk. I checked my luggage which was in the same room as the fridge and microwave and there were roaches in my luggage as well! I immediately brought all of my luggage outside and shook out every article of clothing I had. I was in town for my cousins wedding and this horrible experience ended up ruining the entire day for me as I was now stuck trying to find another place to stay and having to pay last minute prices. I asked for a refund and they only refunded my last night. I had to wait for the manager to get there to authorize it. The manager never made contact with me and never apologized, however, as I was shaking out my belongings, one of the female employees, rudely came outside to tell me that I better hurry up because the manager would be calling the police. I asked what wrong I was doing and she just walked away. I called the police myself, explained what happened and wanted to make sure I was not breaking any laws. The owner happened to also be there and offered no apology. Horrible!

the room/suite was perfect and very clean...my only concern was that the front desk clerk had not properly receipted my cash payment and was overlooked and drafted from my card....she did not give me a receipt so i had no proof....however, the front desk clerk the next day immediately tended to the issue and it was resolved...

This is my third time staying there and each time has been fantastic. The young lady at the front counter is one of the most nice and professional people I have encountered in my travels and I travel a ton.

As soon as you Walk in. It smells very, very overpowering of fabulouscleaner like they're trying to hide some type of smell, which later we smelled mold TV in the lobby does not work. Broken desk chair in our handicapped room. Cracked bathroom floor by the drain, dirty stained floor in the bathroom Four adults in one room and they only gave us towels 1each We had to keep asking for towels. We had to keep asking to clean our room and throw out the trash There was a big roach in our room on the floor. We have a video on our last day. When we moved our refrigerator and there was a whole swarm of roaches. We had to shake out all of our clothes in the parking lot before we got on the flights. The phone in the room doesn't work. Why is it in there? The blow dryer on the wall only has cold air and it fell off the wall. We took a roach to the front desk and showed it to them and told them we had roaches in our room and all they said was oh yeah, that's a roach. Could not switch us to another room, nor did I want to switch to another room may have been worse. They were booked. We were here for a family wedding and we had 4 other families staying in their hotel and they had the same exact experience, especially with the roaches and the smell. We ask the cleaning people if they can tone down on the smell of the cleaner and they said that's what they use. It was too much too too much. Then they only offered a 1 day refund. They should have given us all our money back.Or half ! NEVERAGAIN

I would not stay here again. First room had lots of roaches and hot n musky. The smoke detectors had been removed n smelled like smoke. Second room had whstvi assumecto be human feces by the couch.3rd room didn't happen. I left and stayed elsewhere. The women at the counter obliged easily with new rooms but it wasn't getting any better so I cut my losses and left. Not sure if i was "dealt" a bad hand but its not worth me trying again to find out.

A roach was in the restroom of my first room , the lady offered to switch me rooms. I agreed. The second room, I got up at 5am to use the restroom and another roach came from under my blankets!! I WANT A REFUND and I’ve already talked to Expedia but everytime I call the hotel they say their manager has to approve it but have an excuse when I ask to speak to the manager! I have both videos of both rooms and both roaches! I want to be refunded ASAP or this video will be online to warn others to NEVER stay at Baymont in Clu** Tx!!!

It was pet friendly. Very clean very friendly the staff was super nice. The room was amazing and very clean

Hardest beds I’ve ever slept on. Had to go get a mattress topper just to finish my stay. Very dirty floors and bathroom.

Horrible experience. Nothing worked in room … called front desk to get help, to change rooms and she was basically giving me the run around. I called hotels.com to get a refund. I checked out and not once did the lady at front desk apologize. Poor service.

I love this hotel! Very friendly and helpful staff! Stay here 3 to 4 times a year.

best hotel ever

Not much to say about the room other than both tv's did not work and the front desk said they reset the box.....ended up moving to a different room and only 1 of the tv's worked. I'm not there to watch tv but it's nice to have some noise when you are trying to sleep. Breakfast was served early which was a plus.

Continental breakfast is solid and this location is easy to get to anywhere on the Lake or beach.

My room was dirty , floor not clean and all the towel look old and I found hair on multiple towel . And towel is browning. Room door is not fixed and the lock is hard to lock for the price I’ll stay better at studio 6 . But if you carry a name WYNDHAM. I think it will be better than motel .

Smelt like smoke had to get Febreze and a candle to help with the smoke smell. Looks completely different from the pictures. There were stains on the couch, dresser, and bathtub. The building is veryyyyy old. But it’s okay for the price

I enjoyed my stay. The only thing that was bothersome was the traffic you could hear the traffic pretty loud other than that I enjoyed my stay.

We reserved 3 rooms for 6 people, but upon check in we were informed 1 of the rooms was given away and there would not be a third until the following day. Traveling from GA we were already tired and decided to double up for the night although it was inconvenient. The customer service was terrible. There were stains on the linen and just an overall terrible experience. It put a damper on this family trip.

The room 202 had bed bugs and me be Break out alll over my body. I couldn’t even stay my last night there . It’s a shame that this Happen.
