The view was beautiful and the room very nice but the lack of hot water for our 2nd day and night was a problem.

Great location, property and layout. Excellent service at the hotel and restaurant. But the rooms and overall condition of the hotel need an update / paint, etc. Eg The fans in the bathroms aren't working (they run but are not extracting any air, probably because they're clogged). That results are black mold spots in the ceiling and around the windows in the bathroom. Also older appliances (eg hairdryer). We still had a god time there as we had gotten a good price. The location and service made up for the above.

Hotel was fabulous. A perfect place to recover from a redeye to France. The help was wonderful and accommodating and location close to the old town and Maight Gallery. We did not take advantage of the pool since it was a rare rainy day. Only complaint was overpriced breakfast at 30 Euros.

It was all great and we had a wonderful stay

We love renting apartments when we travel, but for only 2 nights, we choose hotels. We were pleasantly surprised to find an upstairs casita like apartment with a patio table for 2 overlooking the gorgeous Côte d’Azur. We will definitely be coming back.

I had the most amazing stay at Hotel Alain Llorca. It is a beautiful hotel right outside of the village of Saint-Paul de Vence. I am so very grateful to have found this lovely property. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted by Benoit, whose customer service was outstanding. When he brought me to my room, I was overwhelmed by its beauty, and the view was beyond my expectations. I had a beautiful view of Saint Paul de Vence, and the gorgeous countryside. I then had dinner at their outstanding Michelin star restaurant, and the food and service was incredible. I cannot say enough about the outstanding service from Sylvia, Benoit, Claudia, Jasmine and Sebastian, and all the employees. They truly make you feel welcome and at home. I cannot wait to return next year!

Am amazing hotel and of course the Michelin * restaurant by Chef Alain Llorca is amazing. The staff went beyond to make my stay wonderful. I will absolutely be back!

Nice hotel. We did not try the restaurant which has a Michelin star.
But the breakfast was good (30 Euro per person per day!!). The most beautiful view at the terrace, when eating it.
Our deluxe room was big and the interior design was authentic. The bathroom was big as well, but could use a renovation at some point.
We had hoped to have a good view from our terrace. But the bush were to high (see picture from standing up and sitting down).

I have often stayed at this small boutique hotel and for me everything is perfect. The bathrooms are traditional and not clinical as often we find now in hotels. Personally they have character and never thing works perfectly. Powerful showers.
The restaurant is superb and all the staff very helpful and polite.
I highly recommend a few days or more for a stay at this beautiful hotel.

Exceptional location, property, food and vistas

Very pleasing room with a beautiful outlook, spacious and decorated to our taste. We did not have to ask housekeeping for anything - amenities replenished daily.
Large number of steps on the property - fine for us but could be a challenge. Would have appreciated being told no-one manning reception pm on Sunday.

Very good service provided at the front desk. Beautiful area and views from the balcony of our room. Quick drive to the old town/castle area. Our room room was very large but it was old and wasn't the cleanest, considering the rating of the hotel. Our room was also very humid.

Very impressed, beautiful place, big and comfortable. We got a private garden. The view to Vence is amazing. Cant wait to go back.

We enjoy the excellent restaurant and hospitality of Alain Llorca team and decided to take the opportunity to stay and avoid taxis in France which can be difficult to get in my experience
4.6
It was a beautiful French village in a terraced setting offering outstanding views ,
The room was very large with a spa bathroom, a balcony and all else everything.
I stared to stay in Vence which after seeing this hotel would have been a mistake. It was fantastic in every way.

Everything.
Food, service, people, quietness, view, country, art pieces.

Outstanding hotel with stunning views and exceptional service.

The restaurant is amazing! I had eaten there a year ago with the fantastic service and amazing food and wanted to stay in the hotel. So I booked it this time. Yes, it’s a very old building and I like the charm of it. However, there is no excuse for the quality of the mattress, pillows, the shower, and the towels. The bed is so old and hard that we both woke up sore. The sheets are of poor quality and the pillows are worn out. The towels are worn on the edges and I would throw them out. The shower is smaller than a cruise ship with a shower head you might find in an RV. The pool area is a joke. The rubber cushions make a flatulent sound with every move, the pool is ice cold in August, there is no view or breeze because it is walled off. This is a two star property attached to a 10 star restaurant

Faultless. Room and service were both excellent. Highly recommend.

Fabulous food, tasteful, restful surroundings, beautiful location.
The staff were so friendly, willing to drive us up to St Paul at the drop of a hat.
On departure we were invited to sit on the terrace with a complimentary glass of wine and hors d’oeuvres while we waited for airport taxi.
A hire car for further afield would be useful as local taxis are pricey!! Uber is better.

Love the Hotel! Excellent service, food, rooms! Beautiful hotel

A very nice hotel, but building works meant it was not at it's best, some noise in the day and dust and dirt around the site. Once finished all will be fine I'm sure.

A classic luxury hotel with a classic French Michelin dining experience. Huge rooms with either a balcony or a terrace overlooking the valley and Saint-Paul-de-Vence (within walking distance). Spotless service by a very friendly and professional staff.

My wife and I stopped at Hotel Llorca for one night after a late flight to Nice. We liked it so much we returned 3 days later for another night.
We were too late for dinner on the night we arrived but after the fantastic breakfast, we made a point to book dinner in the restaurant on the return trip. Service, food and price were all excellent.

good food, very nice people. a little costly but you need to pay for quality .
why are you forcing me to write more.............................................. I do not understand why the system is forcing me to write more. It's a good restaurant, very nice accommodation with a balcony.

The owners were lovely people and very accommodating. The hotel was ideally situated for tourist attractions of Grasse, St Paul de Vence and the French Riviera. The hotel also incorporates a wonderful restaurant. We couldnt fault the hotel, loved it
4.6
Madame is warm & efficient and staff all very pleasant. Since this hotel in perched in the hills, you must walk many stairs [39 from dining room to apts] .A. Llorca presents interesting cuisine and his brother, fabulous pastries. The view from the dining terrace is magnificent, especially of St Paul de Vence. Nice pool area.
4.6
Very quiet, although close to the street, breakfast might be improved.Ruhig, trotz Nähe zur Straße, Ambiente ist luxuriös und großzügig, die Natur ist intakt, die Heizung hat, nach Nachfrage danach, auch gut funktioniert, sehr nette Eigentümer, gute Atmosphäre!

Great hotel, great location near Saint Paul de Vence

Have lived in the area from the 70s to early 00s & never found a satisfactory hotel until now. Initially, it was run as a restaurant (Diamond Rose) & floundered. The new owners, the Llorca clan, have added rooms & a whole lot of flair. I have not seen such attention to detail anywhere out of the Far East. As to the food: I never eat green food if I can help it - until now. I relished every dish the Depardieu of the culinary world cooked up.All served by efficient & attentive personnel. Prices you ask? No need to auction body parts - my stay was cheaper than at a Holiday Inn, the food came to less than most meals Ive had in London. Breakfast was perfectly pitched in all senses. Then theres the unobstructed view of St Paul. The adrenalin rush is supplied each day by the hill climb out of the car park. Stunning. Absolutely stunning. Everything. Chapeau!

Stayed at the hotel for 4 nights during August 2008. On arrival we were warmly welcomed and informed our junior suite had a no-cost upgraded to a Grand Suite, not a bad start. The room was lovely and everything worked... We had a private garden, dressing room, bathroom with bath and walk-in shower and a seperate WC. We ate a few meals at the hotel, dinner and breakfast. While the dinner was really really good the breakfast was not. Priced in the high bracket there was a selection of meat crawling with flies, pastries crawling with flies and wasps, a small selection of individual boxed cereals and bread, butter and jam. The hotel is said to be overlooking the sea.... It's true you can see the sea if you have good eyesight but it is miles away, this hotel has an odd location, the view is over some rolling hills but there are a lot of other houses/buildings in that view so you don't get a feeling of isolation that a true rural location would give you. While the view of the next village along (St. Pauls) is excellent There are some very steep paths and stairs at the hotel so it wouldn't suit everybody. Parking isn't a problem with a parking area and parking available outside some suites. The hotel is quiet and the rooms and staff are excellent, while the hotel facilities are limited (kids would hate this place) it has a charm of it's own. For a get away from it all hotel this is the place to be.
