Beautiful and charming hotel. Great service and location! My only complaint is that one of the two elevators was not working, so it was sometimes a HUGE wait for the elevator.

Ameron worked out well for a short, business-focused stay. It was close to my destination but the areas was not quite what I expected. It think this may have been due to the football fans. When I arrived, around 22:30, there were 3 very drunk men entering in the lobby and that was my sign to hurry and escape to my room. Despite this, if you are a self-sufficient traveler on a short stay this hotel can work out fine. Just be sure to check all the festures because I missed everything including free amenities like water because I didn’t find it untill too late.

Althought a relatively old hotel it was clean, well maintained and cared for.

Nice view of the river, near to the center. The acoustic of the room is not that good. Amenities could be better for the price level.

Not very helpful. Arrived lunchtime on a Monday. Rooms not ready so left luggage behind reception but still checked in. Not informed about hotel facilities or food. When arrived later and asked for a table in restaurant, was told it was full. Didn't offer any alternative and was told they had 129 rooms to fulfill. Went to bar in restaurant at 8.30pm and saw a few empty tables!. At 9.00pm asked for food at bar only to be told they had finished serving and kitchen was closed. Was informed at reception, room service was until 9.30pm but told this had finished too. Eventually managed to get a salad after 30 mins. Took 15 mins to be served with a drink and only when I asked. Very poor unhelpful customer service and will not be staying here again.

Very nice hotel, quiet, very clean, and the views are stunning in the river view rooms.

Prachtige locatie aan de Rijn met terras waar gegeten en gedronken kan worden. Ruime comfortabele kamer met gerieflijke badkamer. Het internet viel regelmatig enkele minuten uit. Het restaurant biedt Italiaanse gerechten. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet.

Location and view of Rhein River from terrace was nice. Restaurants very good. Age of property is showing.

Friendly helpful staff, great location 5 minutes from the city and on the river. Comfy, clean rooms. Asked for a kettle and one was quickly provided.

I feel that the price/value is not balanced at this property. The rooms seem rather old and the bathrooms are tiny. There are no amenities in the room. I had to ask for a water kettle. It was delivered without any cups, or spoons or tea/coffee bags. I had to ask for cups. There is no alarm or any kind of clock in the room. Very confused about the 'free' bottle of water. I had one in my room, I had asked for another 2 bottles to be delivered to my room as I was staying 3 nights and they did, I was not charged. My Mom who stayed in the second room asked at the front desk for additional water and was sent down to the restaurant to pick them up. They said that they did not have the same brand as in the room and gave her San Pellegrino and charged her 16 euros for 2 bottles. I complained at the front desk and they said only the first bottle is free no matter how long you stay. It's just a bottle of water and I feel this is not a 4 star service plus asking a 80 year old to go and get your own bottle of water from the restaurant and then charge her because the 'cheaper brand' is not available is terrible customer service. We were originally wanting to book the Hilton, however local family recommend this property. We were really disappointed.
