Nice hotel

Lovely hotel, however if you have one of the connecting rooms then you will be kept awake

Spotlessly clean, 2 minutes walk to the beach, friendly staff.

It's a nice hotel good for a short stay because the area gets boring over time, special after the season

Overall experience of the hotel was excellent. Great facilities from pool, gym, and restaurant to the services such as poolside service and overall staff interaction. The location was perfect with easy to use Tram network into Alicante and the beach.

The WIFI simply does NOT work. Completely unreliable. When it did work, i had to reenter password like 4 or 5 times per day. Ridicules. They say they will be replacing it. Make sure they actually did that.

Hotel was very nice. Town was a little sleepy as it was off season. A few good restaurants in walking distance.

I was not that impressed with our 2 night stay. Firstly, we emailed the reception 2 days before we arrived to ask if there was any chance of checking in earlier as a 4pm check-in is quite late, especially when off-season but to date we've had no response (we're now home) The shower had a rather bad smell coming from the drain. I don't go on holiday to watch tv but I do like it on before bed or when getting ready to go out, not one english speaking channel, which would be fine if you could stream Netflix or Prime but that wasn't available either. Went for lunch and apparently they think it's acceptable to offer a prawn, yes, one prawn for €11. Whilst I know this must be some kind of super prawn, this kind of hotel should not be adding this to a menu that has otherwise standard offerings i.e club sandwich, burger etc. There's only one lift so if the hotel is busy you'll be quicker walking (great when on the 5th floor) Overall, this hotel screams style over substance to me and I would not stay here again.

Great hotel, restaurant very good, service excellent, great location, close to the beach, walking distance to bars ahd restaurants

It was very close to the beach and a short walk to the tram stop , but also in between two roads so very noisy and the rooms are not sound proofed with the patio door not closing properly either! The did have very good black out curtains, the air con didn’t seem to work but we didn’t need it due to the window not closing . They are in the process of refurbishment on the lower floors , so do not expect peace and quiet during the day .

I am reviewing as a business traveller. The good: Nice room overall Good desktop table if you need to work Good location for before/after work stroll The not so good: Safe is not included Late breakfast, starts at 8am, long queues given it's a family/resort hotel and the covid situation Cleanness is OK but was expecting better (and I am not a picky person)

Staff incroyablement acceuillant, zones communes très agréables et réformées, très bien situé. Une belle surprise, mérite la 4ème étoile!

El lugar es muy bonito, decorado con mucho estilo, tipo nórdico. El olor también es muy rico , muy cuidado. La playa es maravillosa y la zona de la piscina también. El único pero el servicio del restaurante. Deben mejorar esta parte

The staff were excellent. Rooms very clean and of a high quality. A stones throw from the beach was an added bonus. Food was excellent. I had no complaints.

Nice Location, just off the sea front, Hotel staff really friendly and helpful, plenty of parking spaces available. Really tasty food from both the restaurant and cafe bar. Rooms of a really good standard. we actually booked an extra night due to our plans changing and that was not a problem. Luggage holding facilities were very useful.

Overall good experience

Room conditions were terrible. Bathroom door wouldn't close and they had to remove door to take off 2cm. When Aircon was turned on it flooded the bedroom floor. Took 2 days to repair.

We liked everything about the hotel, the staff were very attentive and helpful, everywhere was clean and tidy, we ate in the restaurant and bar food and both were very nice. The view from our room was stunning and the tram was only a 10 minute ride into the old town. We would highly recommend it.

Great location with easy access to the beach and transport links to Alicante.

The chilled out vibe, it was like being on a spa weekend without actually being at a spa. Reasonable bar prices, loved the fact you could order drinks from your sun lounger. Had a great long weekend.

The hotel was lovely, such good value for money.

Nice hotel just off beach all the staff were very friendly and helpful ,room was good nice big bed and most rooms balconies have side views of the beach

Despite the awful weather Easter 2019, we had a great 9 night stay at the Almirante. We had a "premium room" facing the pool, including a fridge and kettle. I'm not sure if these are just in the premium rooms, others have mentioned them missing. Room appeared to be recently refurbished, great bathroom, nice furnishings even an electric blackout blind. Decent balcony, with 2 chairs and a table. Pool looked good although we didn't use it. Location is OK for Alicante, with half hourly tram service to the city. Also goes the other way to Benidorm if you want to mix with the chavs haha. Some restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, but not a busy area at least at Easter. Staff were generally friendly. Breakfast was pretty good (ours included in rate) but didn't vary, so after 9 days it got a bit boring. Good parking (we hired a car from the Airport - SixT were excellent, right below the terminal) Believe me with the weather, we needed the car. Valencia is lovely especially the amazing modern architecture (Calatrava). Wi fi was OK, good enough to stream Netflix (laptop HDMI'd to the TV) although you had to put details in every day. Overall a great base if you are happy to be out of the town.
