Nice hotel with comfortable rooms and good breakfast.

The room we had was serviceable. The one thing of note is that the windows faced the reception area.

Room was oké. It could be good if the AC did work. it was quite hot in the room. I got an other room, on the streetside that could open the window just a little, the downside was that it was noisy and did not cool off to have a comfort sleep. I selected this hotel because it stated that the hotel has a possibility to charge electric vehicels. Turns out that in the parkinggarage there was a regular socket where i could charge my car in 34hours!!... I explained at the desk that I was not happy with this surprise, because i specific asked for this in my reservation (did not get a reply) to be sure there was a charger, and i needed a full battery the next morning. If I knew this, i would not have booked this hotel. The hotel did nothing to make up for this mistake. The lady at the desk did her best to help but she could not manage a decent vehiclecharger in a few hours ofcourse. I doubt if they change it on the list of facilities and keep promising chargingfacilities.

Rooms are basic but comfortable , staff were very helpful

The hotel is a good quality business hotel, staff is friendly and competent. Rooms are quite big, and again standard business hotel lay-out. At this time most facilities in the hotel are unfortunately closed down due to corona. So no fitness, no sauna and no restaurant, which is a shame as especially the sauna (which I have used during previous stays) is very good. Erfurt center (Anger area) is currently under intensive reconstruction (it is messy), so I much prefer the location of Dorint Hotel, close to the Dom, where there currently only are limited road works.

Other than being large enough to host conference groups I am not sure why this is a 5 star hotel. The AC barely functioned and there was no coffee tea service in the room. The king size bed was nice and there was a small fridge.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is very good, as was most of the food I've had from there. The gym was okay, enough to get somewhat of a workout in. The rooms were very warm and the air conditioning was either disabled or non-existent. There are rooms on the outside wall, but I stayed on the inside wall and the windows just open into the lobby area, so there was no way to cool down the room. This was the most disappointing/uncomfortable part of my stay. They could also use a coffee machine in the rooms.

This hotel was written as a 5 stars hotel on this website so I was expecting rooms and services. The location was very good, about 5 minutes walk to the Christmas Market place. However, at around 10pm, noise was heard and it continued after going to bed. I woke up at 2am and the noise was still going on. I contacted the reception and was told that it would end at 3 o'clock, but ended up near 5 o'clock. The cause of the noise was with the club. And other rooms were full so we couldn't move the situation. One of the goals of staying at a hotel was to get sleep, but unfortunately it was not achieved. Reception was not kind nevertheless the 5 star hotel. It is questionable what kind of standard it is 5 stars. Will not stay at this hotel anymore.

Modern facilities with little or no amenities. Room over indoor courtyard proved noisy because a mail left an indoor window open.

Staff was very friendly, spoke fluent English and parking was a reasonable price.

Convenient carpark, perfect location for old city visit.

Great location near the cathedral and city center. There's a tram stop across the plaza from the hotel, or parking (12 Euros) if you have a car.

Excellent stay while visiting Erfurt. It’s in a great location and provides great parking in a town where parking isn’t easy to find. We were very pleased with the service and accommodations.

This was a very nice upscale hotel at a reasonable price. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was within walking distance of the sights we wanted to visit.

Lovely hotel

Came to see the opera Carmen, which while not held in the Theater across the street was very near the cathedral where it was held. Breakfast, staff and dinners were excellent! Look forward to coming back next year.

Stayed one night. This hotel is conveniently situated in a great location close to the historic city centre and all its facilities. Car parking available below the building. Appreciated the air conditioning in the bedroom given that the weather conditions were so ridiculously hot outside.

I booked this hotel thinking that it would be the best hotel in Erfurt, but I was disappointed. It feels dated, even though it is not particularly old, and the bed was quite uncomfortable. If that's the best Erfurt has to offer, then I understand why so many sites suggest that people stay in Weimar, instead.

The good: I got upgraded to a suite. Location across from Citadel was superb. Room was very nice.The bad: long walk to city center & train station.The ugly: nothing.Excellent hotel: quiet, good bfast, value.

Loved the location. Stairs cross the street take you to the top of Erfurt.

Good Hotel in Erfurt in a very good location. The disadvantage was that everywhere around the Hotel were places of constructions and it was hard to find the Hotel without the GPS. ( but this will end and it is not the fault from the Hotel )

Beautiful atrium in center of hotel. They gave us n end room with windows on two sides of the room. Nice breakfast with many many choices of food displayed beautifully.

The room was nice, but after coming from a five star in Hildesheim was a bit disappointed. Nothing complementary, room wasn't ready and the staff didn't really speak English which only was weird when a gas station attendant and tourist store owner spoke very well. Room was okay and the staff were mostly friendly. Really liked the restaurant. Biggest complaint however is last night I was there someone was having some kind of party. Had to listen to music and bass till about 3 in the morning. Very frustrating, but overall not too bad. Not a lot of restaurants in the area, but lots of shopping if you walk a small ways and of course the Erfurt Cathedral is amazing.

Excellent hotel for the price, a comfortable and interesting walk into the centre of the city (15 mins). Good breakfast with freshly cooked fried or scrambled eggs and very helpful, friendly staff. I would certainly return.
