Beautiful location and view of Cernobbio. Staff was very helpful and friendly compared to most hotel reception in Italy. Seated at the top of a hill so it was hard to walk to and from. I walked down to town one day but it didn’t feel very safe. Taxis you need to order 30 min advance to when you need them. Wall air conditioning units didn’t work too well, was somewhat warm. Other then that a great stay.

Great accommodations, breakfast on the patio with an incredible view and very helpful front desk staff.

Hotel clean food good

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Asnigo. Beautiful view with our room, firm comfy bed, quiet, and very kind service. As others mentioned, the cab situation in Cernobbio is abysmal and the walk back up to the hotel can be a steep challenge but was only a real issue when we were on a time crunch. And even then we made it work. (If you have a car this would be a non-issue I’d imagine.) The staff kindly assisted with calling us cabs and the walk down the hill, though steep is quite nice. All in all, still very much worth it for the price and unbeatable views of the lake!

This is a very pleasant hotel in a superb location overlooking Lake Como. Our room was comfortable and, although very small, it had a compact walk in wardrobe. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and well laid out with a very good shower. Breakfast was good with a wide selection of foods although for a 4 star hotel I would have expected freshly cooked hot food rather than scrambled eggs etc sitting on a hot plate. The hotel generally is well presented with many comfortable sitting areas both inside and out. We loved the glass lift with a view! We were there in awful weather but I can imagine that the hotel is really delightful in the summer.

Lovely location and view over the lake. Very friendly staff who helped us with boat transport and restaurant recommendations. Clean rooms and reasonable breakfast spread.

The hotel location is stunning with fantastic views of lake como. Our room was large and the bed was comfortable. However the customer service really let this place down and was not what I would have expected from a hotel such as this. The hotel maintained that it had a bar service, but each day when we wanted to get some drinks, we had to try and find staff as they were not at the bar and we were always made to feel like an inconvenience. We were also told by the front desk that busses stopped at 6.30pm into Como and that we would be able to get a taxi from the centre. However this wasn't the case, we went for dinner in como and wanted to return to the hotel for about 9pm (so not late). We called every taxi number and couldn't get through, waited at the taxi rank for 40 minutes with no taxis running and when we rang the hotel to ask what to do they basically said that we would have to wait and there was nothing they could do. In the end, we nearly had to get another hotel in como for the night as we had absolutely no idea how to get home and there was minimal help from the hotel. Eventually the hotel said they would ring a taxi company for us to find out what was going on and by sheer luck we were able to flag a taxi down to share with another couple. This ruined our experience somewhat and I'm not sure we would therefore return.

The room They gave me has no view and was too small we could not move on. they changed me same rate as room has lake view.

If you are a tourist from another country and don’t have own ride, this is not the place for you. Staff at the front desk was not of any help for the areas near by. Pool closes at 7, not very convenient. Won’t be staying here again.

Beautiful location and views

Clean and modern hotel with friendly staff. Room had a stunning view of Lake Como and was a comfortable size. The location of the hotel was slightly inconvenient with little to no taxis and the buses stopped at around 18:30, so had to walk to and from the hotel a few times which does consist of some steep hills. Overall though it was a lovely stay and would return.

This place is great. We got a room with a balcony and it was amazing! The breakfast and staff were both excellent! The pool was perfect to relax and enjoy the wonderful view. Cab ride from Como $30 and far walk to get anywhere but if you want a chill and relaxing stay somewhere far from stress, this is a perfect spot!

Beautiful property overlooking Lake Como, away from the crowds but easy access to all of the “lake” towns. Excellent restaurant for dinner and the morning buffet was great.

Really enjoy the atmosphere, and view over the lake. I will back again. Katia the waitress at the breakfast was amazing, with all staff at the hotel.

The staff were absolutely amazing with suggestions or answerscto our questions. The room exceeded our expectations, and the restaurant was utilized mostly dor the included breakfast, but was excellent.

Excellent service and location!

Views were breathtaking and staff were very polite and helpful and it had parking. Only thing was the soap holder in bathroom was rusty in the junior suit, the heating didn’t really work.

This hotel is top notch and the room we booked had amazing views over lake Como. The restaurant is also excellent. Be warned though the walk into town a the lake side is steep and takes about 20 mins. We will definitely stay here again.
