The hotel was gorgeously set and had excellent food and spa services. A true tranquil experience. However, I booked a room for 3 and our bathroom which was huge and very nice only had a tub without a shower head. It made it very difficult to shampoo hair. My son and husband ended up using the spa showers each day. A tub without shower head is useless. Plus it wasn’t private as the glass was only half frosted in the bathroom so one could see the naked person in tub! Very awkward for a family.

Absolutely epic hotel. Beautiful, calm and relaxing with access to some of the best bike riding in the world. The spa with the pools, jets, steams, saunas and ice room are incredible as our the outer pools, gardens and grounds. The staff is incredibly helpful and gracious.

Beautiful property which is extremely well looked after. Calm, serene setting. Great food, multiple dining options, lagoon was great for our daughter. Very quick transfer from Nice although you would never know how close you are given the countryside setting. Our second visit and we will be back.

Great hotel in an amazing town. Stay away from their La Table pre-fix restaurant. It’s a trap.

It was bad weather so took 1 year old to indoor pool. Following day told only allowed kids in indoor pool after 1pm. Following day told kids not allowed in indoor pool at all. Very child unfriendly.

I literally teared up leaving.
We had a superior room with a beautiful terrace that had a gorgeous olive tree hanging over. We would sit out and have wine and cheese every evening. The room was clean and spacious. The service from when we arrived with the valet to housekeeping was first rate.
The restaurant is beautiful and the pool is so well maintained. There are so many gardens to explore as well. This is a place to relax and feel at peace. Will definitely return.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location.
The room was spacious and very tastefully decorate. It's on the hill (mountain?) and the whole surrounding is very tranquil.
Helpful and friendly staff. Everything was perfect.

The positives:
The property is beautiful and is within easy reach of Nice airport. The Lagoon area is really cool for kids and our son had a great time there.
The negatives:
The experience is somewhat ruined by the feeling that you get of getting ripped off at every corner. A few examples: Breakfast (average at best) is €40. Basic cocktails are €27. A pint of beer (Moretti is the only thing they have on tap) is €16! Kids meals are €29. Biker hire starts at €50. This honestly really ruins the experience when you constantly have to double check how much things cost. Trying to rip customers off just breaks the trust. It is also self-defeating - charge me €8 for a beer (expensive) and I'll have 3 - Charge ,€16 and I will have none.
Service was below any reasonable standard as well. When we arrived at the hotel we realised our phone didn't have a cable connecting to it so it didn't work. We had to ask for it to be fixed 4 times before somebody came, and every time we had to go to reception because we didn't have a working phone. The receptionists also don't have basic information.
What was even worse (and the reason I am taking the time to write this review) is that on our checkout day they had an event taking place, and they really wanted all the guests to leave as quickly as possible. Closing the pool at 12pm and telling us "check out time is at 11 and not a minute more!" when we enquired. The bar at the lagoon never even opened that day. Very disappointing.

This is trully 10 out of 10 experience. I can not really fault anything. An amazing hotel

Lovely stay in the off season at this hotel. Arguably one of the best hotel rooms we’ve ever stayed in, you notice the 5 star rating in the quality of the grounds and staff service. I recommend spending a bit more for the bigger rooms as these come with additional perks such as allocated beds by the pool, which in high season I can imagine provides peace of mind. Spa facilities and our massages were fantastic and we enjoyed our meals at the two restaurants on site (we personally preferred the food selection at the cheaper one funny enough but nevertheless enjoyed the experience of both!)
Staff are truly fantastic - when you check in they walk you directly to your room (pet peeve of mine is when hotels just let you wander with all your baggage till you find your room) and you receive an introduction on the grounds and how the shuttle into town works which was very informative.
During our stay my time of the month arrived and the ladies collected a little sanitary supplies bag for me to save me having to leave the hotel, really lovely of them and I am very grateful. You definitely feel they care about your experience and are happy to help where they can to ensure you get the most out of your stay.
We will definitely be returning, hopefully in warmer climates and for a longer duration!

I had an excellent stay at this hotel! The staff was truly wonderful and went above and beyond to make our experience perfect, even when we encountered a small issue. Their professionalism and problem-solving skills were impressive. The place itself was beautifully decorated and had a very nice ambiance. I highly recommend this hotel for a delightful and memorable stay.

Everything!

Overrated. Our room was so tiny, we had to leave our empty suitcases on the balcony. The food is mediocre and overpriced. The gardens around the property are lovely, so was the spa.

Amazing stay.
Very professional but still personal service.
Grounds were beautiful with scent of herbs and flowers in the air.
Felt alive but never crowded or loud.
Wonderful shuttle to Saint Paul de Vence. The walk is nice too, but know its a little steep.

One of the most beautiful and well serviced hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing and luxurious stay. Absolutely gorgeous property with several pools and on-site activities. I came with my husband for our wedding anniversary trip and we loved every minute of it. We didn’t travel with our dog but other hotel guests did and noticed how pet friendly the hotel is. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The gym is amazing with everything you need for a good workout. Will definitely be returning and most likely will bring our dog!

Luxury, Great view, Quiet, Kid-friendly
A mere 10-minute drive from the hotel sits the illustrious medieval town of St. Paul de Vence, a veritable historical landmark replete with stunning vistas of the surrounding valley, as well as an array of shopping and dining options. Following our visit, we relished a delectable meal at a restaurant nestled on the western side of the village, affording us an unobstructed view of the breathtaking sunset valley.
Nestled in a verdant hillside community near St. Paul de Vence, lies a well-concealed property that exudes the charm of a quaint little town. Our accommodation was outfitted with a convenient roll-down industrial gate, readily controlled by a bedside switch. Although we never found the need to utilize it, the added sense of security it provided was an absolute comfort, both day and night.
Should you find yourself without breakfast plans during your stay, fear not, as the hotel's restaurant is open in the morning and offers a plethora of delectable options alongside top-notch service. Should you opt to upgrade your package to include breakfast, the experience is well worth the investment. Unfortunately, our experience was not as impeccable when we dined at Lis Orto for dinner. The service failed to meet our expectations, especially in comparison to the rest of our visit, and the food, while decent, was only average.

It was the best hotel ever! Each and every detail is amazing and well-thought. Amazing pools (4!), great service, marvellous accommodation, 10 points out of 5! We wanted to come back even before we even left

Dining options limited. If you want water, be prepared to pay a hefty price for it. The hotel discourages you from getting bottled water by charging outrageous prices for it. Other option is to get it from the store somewhere but it's inconvenient.

Highly recommend, a beautiful place. The restaurant was fantastic and the service of the restaurant staff a highlight of our trip.
