If you are EVER in Asti, Italy or if you’re close, STAY HERE. STAY!!! HERE!!!!The team that owns/runs/manages/serves/cleans/sweeps whatever! are the most hospitable and kind and accommodating and polite folks you will ever meet. The breakfast buffet is the - sorry, I just don’t have the right superlative. You will know. You will never regret. And if you’re not in or near Asti, change you plans. Come!!

The owners and staff were incredibly nice, courteous and accommodating providing a friendly and welcoming service. The room was lovely and included a welcome of fruit and wine in our room. We need to return to Italy and will be staying there again on our journey there and back. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Centrally located, staff were amazing and they catered for 2 in our party who are severely lactose intolerant.

I made my reservation after reading the raving reviews of this family run hotel and my four day stay there exceeded all expectations! The owners speak fluent English and were hands on from morning until night to make certain every guest had an exceptional stay at their hotel. The breakfast was one of the best, my room was comfortable and quiet and its contemporary environment was warm and inviting. I am a senior who travels alone, so I was grateful that they helped me with my luggage, drove me to the train station as well as helped find my train. It is hard to find this kind of exceptional hospitality in a hotel of its size. I will be back next year! Highly recommended!

Hotel Lis is situated next to a park in the center of Asti. Rooms are not large, but everything is fine. We even got fresh fruit and a bottle of local sparkling wine as a welcome gift. We never had a breakfast better than here. Everything you can dream about was part of the buffet. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The right place to stay in Asti.

This is a charming, small, family run hotel just on the edge of the historical centre of Asti. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast delicious.Staff are very friendly and helpful. We hired a car through the hotel and got an amazing deal. If you are on a driving holiday the hotel is in a great location as there is plenty of parking. It is also near the station. Asti is a delightful town and Hotel Lis is an excellent place to stay to explore the town and the surrounding beautiful countryside.

We are a family of five, and at our arrival we were upgrated to an amazingly modern and cozy appartment with 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. The rooms and facilities of this hotel were well kept and very clean. In our room, we were offered a nice bottle of one of their best local red wine. The beakfast was plentiful and fresh! The location is excellent as it is only a 5 minutes walk into the historic center. This hotel deserves a 5 stars, it is a real hidden gems!

We stayed here as part of a quick visit to Asti. Excellent service, spacious and comfortable room. Located within walking distance to one of the town's main squares, close to restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful family run hotel in Asti. Room was clean and comfortable overlooking the park across the street. Breakfast options were abundant - everything from pastries and scrambled eggs to yogurt and fresh fruit. Received a welcome package of a basket of fresh fruit and a bottle of Barbara wine. The following day a package of chocolates adorned our desk. Amazing! Nice hotel to tour Asti, their cathedral, or take a day trip to Turin. Would return in a heartbeat.

Lovely hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly juliano at our check in. The room was spotless and comfortable. The fresh fruit was particularly welcome. The bathroom was spacious but would benefit from a shelf or somewhere to place toiletries as all other space was taken up with the range of toiletries supplied by the hotel. The breakfast was delicious.

Great location for Asti - you can walk anywhere. Everything is thought through, rooms really well equipped and kept. The owners are very attentive and really care about all the details. Great stay!!!

We came to Asti for the wedding of friends and chose to stay at Hotel Lis for its central location. Although on first appearances the hotel seems very dated it is well worth considering for a stay. It seems to offer much more than its 3 stars would have you believe. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean comfortable and there was a basket of fresh fruit and a complimentary bottle of local barbers wine. There was a choice of comfortable pillows and you can black out the room with the roll down blinds. any noise from the corridor could be eliminated by a secondary door to a small entrance hall between the room, the bathroom and the corridor. The breakfast was top quality, one of the best I have had at a hotel. A selection of fresh homemade cakes and fruit tarts, fresh orange juice, excellent tea selection and of course coffee, top quality ham off the bone, home made bread. freshly scrambled eggs or boil yourself fresh eggs, fruit and yoghurts etc, etc. Im looking for an excuse to go back to Asti to stay there again. The hotel is a short 5-10 minute walk from the station situated opposite leafy park and close to many great restaurants. 5 minutes walk to the main square. Surely a great base for exploring the region.

Friendly reception and clean hotel

Located in downtown area. Owner-staff really care and do a good job. Really good breakfast, wifi. My room was on the smaller side, booked a queen and was two single beds pushed together but not bad. Comfortable and very clean. Make sure your room has good AC in the summer. They moved me to a room that had new AC unit and was great.

We had a lovely four day stay at Hotel Lis. It was clean and comfortable with helpful staff and a very nice breakfast. We would definitely stay again if we were returning to Asti. It is also ideal for visiting Asti itself.

We had no real expectations, but were happily surprised when we saw the room. It was fully renovated, very clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. Brekky was delicious as well! Bed was comfy, shower was nice, the room was quiet... We would definitely go back and I wish I would have stayed longer. Plus, the price is very reasonable.
