Really enjoyed our stay. Front desk was very helpful. Morning breakfast/buffet was awesome -- and very attentive! Easy access to check in and coming in after hours. Thought the location was perfect.

Very close to train station. Out of train station go right towards Il Gigante. Little store next to it to buy tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, crackers, salami olives, wine etc. our room was big with 2 balconies. Park across street and ocean. Great breakfast. Breakfast staff was very friendly. Good find if you want to stay in Monterosso.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Italy, and it was, without a doubt, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The property is nothing like the images shown online – they completely lied about everything.
First, the room was tiny and dirty, with a broken bed that caved in the middle, making it impossible to sleep. The bathroom was even worse, featuring a portable shower that looked like it was hastily installed in a closet. The entire place was in disrepair and felt more like a low-budget hostel than the charming hotel they advertised.
The “ocean view” they claimed? Completely obstructed, nothing like the images I saw during booking. I even chatted with the hotel beforehand to confirm that the room I booked was the one advertised, and they assured me it was. That was a blatant lie.
The worst part? The noise outside was unbearable. We couldn’t sleep at all with constant loud disturbances throughout the night. I was so frustrated that we left after one night, but when I asked for a refund, the front desk staff had the audacity to say, “In life, sometimes we don’t get what we want.” I was in disbelief. This level of rudeness and disregard for guests is unacceptable.
I demand a refund, but based on my experience, I’m not holding my breath. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. It’s a scam.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel very much. There is a car park just across the street that you can leave your car in for as many days as you need without having to move it or pay each day. The staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in was efficient and our room was superb. We reserved a double room with a balcony, so it was a lovely way to spend the late afternoon with a glass of wine and good book after spending the day at the beach and before dinner. The beach is just a short 2 min walk and the old town is a 10 min stroll.

Three night stay while visiting and hiking.
Hotel location is good - steps from public parking lot where we left our car the whole time. Our room was spacious and clean, but shabby, basic - with leaking toilet, shower was cramped, and drying rack did not work.
The window overlooked side of the downstairs patio restaurant. VERY noisy till 11 pm with the parties going on and the kitchen noise.
Disappointing; not restful. Breakfast buffet was nice and staff serving was very helpful and friendly. Would not recommend nor stay again.

We had a large sea view room with 2 balconies (seaside and not seaside) that was quite nice, with it even having 2 refrigerators. The grounds also had a nice shaded and gardened restaurant, where you could have quite a nice included buffet breakfast. And of course the beach was right there. We were very happy to have stayed!

The location is great, close to beach and train station. The hotel is overpriced. The rooms are extremely outdated coming in at €350/night. The AC would make a squeaking sound every 15 seconds so had to shut that at night in order to be able to sleep. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything happening in the hallways.. especially other rowdy guests coming in at 1 am. Stay in the old town instead everything is a maximum 10 minute walk so don’t stay here just for convenient location.

The hotel is located in a great place right opposite the beach. Very friendly staff. It was a clean room, quite basic but did the job. The only downside was that our air conditioning wasn’t working properly (we only stayed 1 night so didn’t bother asking the staff to help fix it) and so it was very warm at night. Our shower door was also slightly broken, it didn’t stop us from using the shower but not everything was 10/10.

Lovely hotel along the Mediterranean Coast! Our room was charming with a Terrace. The location is also close to the public parking lot!
We wish we knew the train station was so close, because it was expensive to rent a car from Florence! Next time, we will take the train :)

The hotel staff is helpful with all of our requests, allowed us to store our luggage before check-in time and gave us an overview of the town and restaurant recommendations. Monterosso is not a large town so everything is within walking distance and this hotel is close to the beach. There is a little deli-grocery store next door that can make you a sandwich to go. The hotel is clean and efficient.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this quaint and peaceful hotel, and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable.
The concierge team was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for local shops and restaurants.
But the real standout feature of the property is its location. Perched just alongside the beach, it offers breathtaking views of the iconic Cinque Terre coastline. Additionally, the easy access to the town's charming center made it an ideal base for exploring this picturesque and unforgettable village.
After a long day sightseeing or relaxing, I looked forward to returning to the hotel's cozy bar. The bartenders were true mixologists, crafting creative cocktails using local spirits and fresh, seasonal ingredients. The bar's outdoor and rooftop terraces were perfect to unwind with a glass of wine and watch the sunset or soak in the Monterosso energy.
Overall, my stay was absolutely wonderful. The combination of the attentive staff, unbeatable location, and fantastic bar made it a truly memorable experience. I can't wait to return and recommend this accommodation to all.

Great experience! The room was clean & comfortable, the location very convenient, and the staff was very accommodating and generous during our stay. We couldn’t get into our room on time because the bathroom was being fixed - this was no big deal to us because we wanted to head out and explore. The bathroom was fixed and room was cleaned and ready for us once we got back later after dinner but they still kindly gifted us a free meal at their restaurant which we accepted the next day! We also mentioned that we had to catch an early train on our last day so would miss breakfast and wanted to pack up the bread from our meal to go. But instead they packed us some cakes, croissants, yogurt, biscotti, jams and water bottles! What a generous gesture. Thank you so much!

Loved staying at this location! Great reception staff explaining the path (walking or train) with a map. Breakfast was fun to take up to the terrace to enjoy a great view of Monterosso. Very clean and a quick walk from the train station and close to the beach.

Very good location and friendly staff. Breakfast was also good. On the negative side, we were given a room facing a wall and I thought we asked for a sea view, but for only one night not a problem. Many things in the room did not work. Shower head kept falling down and hit me in the head once, toilet didn’t flush very well, light over the sink didn’t work and the room safe was broken. Generally a good location and I would stay again, but would ask for a different room and hopefully less broken items.
