Lovely hotel that is close to the beach and shops and restaurants, perfect for a getaway as so close to everything and the staff are very nice and friendly!

3 nights in Biarritz, was a lovely stay in a brilliant location and only a 5 minute walk from the beach.

Good choice for central Biarritz and no car needed. Rooms are good size and comfortable.

hotel in need of up dating, kitchen would not cook in it. Rust on corner of the wall strip light not clean, floor tiles have cracks in ,moved out a day early could not cancel on the day had to pay for 3 night stay .

Good central location but balcony looked out onto road which is a bit noisy from constant traffic.

We expected a hotel room only to find when we arrived that we had a full apartment with fully equipped kitchen, bedroom, separate bathroom and toilet and a separate living area with it's own balcony. Very comfortable and good service all round, and only a 5 minute walk from town and the bus stop to the airport. May not be preferable for those looking to be closer to the beach, although it's still only a 10-15 minute walk away - for everyone else, this place is a winner.

First, this is not a proper hotel. It is an apartment/studio rental place that is very simple. If you check-in during lunch time or after 8 pm you have to call a number to get access to the building which we did not know about. It was a little bit of a pain. There is not really good parking on-site but they do have a couple spaces for a fee and you must reserve them in advance. I thought the room was comfortable enough but it felt like it needed a deep clean along with a full remodel. All the furniture was old and the room felt worn. The location is excellent and right in the center of Biarritz.

This residence is located within 5 mins of the main hubs of the town and the main beach, ideal situation.

While the room was large and the location was good, it was VERY run-down: smelly hallways, most of the lightbulbs in the room were out, and the toilet did not work at all so we had to use the one in the front hallway, even though we were told it would be fixed. Really, really bad...

Great location, if you don't like the walk book closer to beach. I loved that it was a kitchen unit and we cooked breakfast and made our lunches. The hotel doesn't have air conditioning and in summer months it gets hot. We requested portable fan and the staff was able to find one.

Extremely helpful staff and cleaning to a very high standard. Not far to walk to the beach. The apartment was suitable for adults with two children. The second bedroom was very small so not so suitable for older children and teenagers. Biarritz isn't the cheapest place around so the hotel may seem expensive but is in keeping with the prices in the area.

Although the reception doesnt open until 4pm this has to be one of the cleanest most comfortable friendly hotels. Room cleaning is daily and nothing is too much trouble. The surrounding area is first rate with beautiful municipal beaches available to all. With designer shopping, surfing and lovely bars and restaurants plus beaches full of families with no arcades. This is one of the best spots ever it also has the plus factor of amazing tides and surfing.

A lovely place to stay, with very helpful staff. It was right in the centre of Biarritz,and was just round the corner from the local park.

The hotel is very well located, near all amenities, but is also close to the seafront. As well as the hotel`s own garage, there is a well kept private parking garage in the same road as the hotel. The staff are helpful and the room is cleaned every day to a good standard. A good place to stay if you want the flexibility of either eating out or making your own meals.

Our room was very suitable to the familiy (2 adults and 2 kids). The bunk bed area looked small, but our kids loved it very much for their private space. The acess from the hotel to the beach and the restaurant area was quite easy. We really recomment this hotel.

My dream which many years seemed impracticable has come true. To visit Biarritz - the remarkable place wonderfully connected in Russian history and culture. To plunge into atmosphere of slow measured life. To see ocean, to bathe in it. The hotel in which we lived, is very successfully located, all nearby: a beach, shops, the market, restaurants, theater, mail, bus stops.

We loved our holiday in Biarritz and our apartments at Hotel Residence Biarritz Ocean were fantastic!! Not only were they clean, spacious and have all the amenities that one needs on a self catering holiday, but it is extremely well located - close to the beach, bars and restaurants! Would definitley go back again and highly recommend any travellers passing through Biarritz to book this hotel!

Unhelpful staff. Apartment was dirty with some applicances broken. Not worth the money.
