Great place to stay!

I would recommend this place.

2 Long Golden Brown Curly Hair on the Bed Sheet near the Pillow. No Housekeeping after 5:30Pm.

The property description states there is shuttle pick up from the Newark airport however, when I inquired about this with the front desk, they stated this was an accurate. I don’t know if this is on Hotels.com or the property themselves, but it is not a service which is available accordingly, you will accrue additional fees in transportation between the airport and property. Prior to my arrival, I had received a message from the property regarding a portal and a pin in order to access it reference having the capability to self check in amongst other things upon check-in. I brought this communication up and the front desk agent had no idea what I was referencing, nor did they care to as I was interrupting them from eating their lunch/dinner and they were taking a phone call. The room themselves at first glance looks together as one would expect however you will quickly find previous guest, or even the cleaners hair among the linens from the bed to the towels and the restroom. Decent price, but as I should’ve known better, I would book with a major hotel chain.

Check in was quick and easy. Room needed a little attention when it came to the cleanliness of the curtains and chairs need to be cleaned as well. The bathroom shower head needs to be replaced asap, other than that room was ok.

There was a concern regarding the linens. Found a few strands of hair on the pillow and sheets well were they actually fresh?

Check in was quick and easy, the whole building & room is very outdated. You can just tell it hasn't been updated since the first ownership. I don't know if they are the first owners. The room was clean. Bed was comfy. It did what I needed for a weekend trip. Overall I slept good & no loud noises or disturbances. If you are looking for more updated modern hotel, this isn't it. If you are looking for comfy night & near the railway station to go to NYC this is it.

I went to shower in my room and the hot water was not working I ended up taking a cold shower and when I mentioned it to the front desk they told me I had to wait 5 minutes for it to come on mind you I spent about 10 minutes in the shower and another 5 waiting outside of it and the staff was 0 help

Wouldn’t stay here again. Staff was pretty rude.

my mother and I faced significant travel disruptions due to weather conditions that resulted in our flight being canceled for the second time. Stranded late at night, with no access to our luggage, we urgently needed accommodation and thus booked a room at your establishment through Expedia. Moments after making the reservation, my sister called and insisted to get us an hour drive away. With the sudden change in our circumstances, I promptly attempted to cancel the reservation within 10 minutes of booking. However, I was informed that cancellations are not permitted within 24 hours of check-in, which struck me as unreasonable given that the booking itself was made less than 24 hours before check-in. Given the circumstances, I believe this policy is excessively rigid and lacks consideration for guests facing travel emergencies. I explained our situation to an Expedia agent named Odwa, who demonstrated exceptional customer service by empathizing with our plight and attempting to secure a refund on our behalf. Unfortunately, despite her best efforts, the hotel refused the request. This experience has left me with a very negative impression of this establishment’s customer service policies. In light of the significant inconvenience and financial strain already imposed on us by the travel disruptions, I find it extremely disheartening that this hotel could not accommodate a reasonable cancellation request made under duress.

Eh. Mediocre hotel. Run down. No frills. Clean enough. Probably wouldn’t stay again.

The hotel was very clean.

I was there 7/26 and found that the beds had bedbugs. i was moved to another room didn't sleep all night slept in the chair all-night. I will never go to this hotel again.

The staff is great and very accommodating and friendly

The staff was very nice, polite and helpful. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and everything was in perfect order, but the best part was the staff. If you are ever in Carteret, this is the place to stay, can't recommand it enough and would definitely return myself!!!
