The staff were great especially in the restaurant/bar. We stayed 8 days and had 2 rooms. On the 2nd to last night management came to my room and said the sheets and 2 pillowcases had something spilled on it. I said no problem and advised i would pay for them. Management came to my door looking for me. Went down to the lobby and was told management wanted $300 US for the sheets and pillowcases. I told them that was too much they told me to come back down in the morning and see a manager. Andraque. We discussed the price(he barely spoke any English) this is who they gave me to speak to on this. I told him I would pay $ US which was way more than the sheets were worth, very fair. He agreed and i got my stuff to check out. Back at the front desk they kept me waiting 30 minutes for him to return. This point he now says he wants $270 US.
I argued and finally said charge my card and i will deal with it with the credit card company. My car was waiting and needed to leave for my flight. This guy stands at the car holding the door demanding $300 US.
I felt like i was being pressured for money. He held the car door as more staff came out. This was crazy! I spent thousands of dollars at this place and now im being treated like a criminal. In order to make my flight I went in and signed for the $300 dollars which I will dispute $200 of with the credit card company. Our stay was great up until this point. Totally unseasonable money grab on the way out the door.

Hotel and staff was great overall.
The downside- my check out time was 12- so having the cleaning staff waking me up by trying to open my door by 9am and again at 10am was ridiculous. Other than that the hotel was under construction but overall still comfortable and nice.
I asked about the free bottle of wine and cocktail at check in and was told I would receive it- but never received it and payed for my “free” drink at the bar.

This property is not as pictured, this is a run down hotel that is outdated. We were woken up at 6 AM by banging noises, construction that was not listed when booking.

Standard rooms did not have a fridge, alcohol could not be served till 12noon, to much construction going on in and around hotel and location around hotel was not pleasant.

They are doing light construction on the hotel. The construction will wake you up in the morning. Swimming pool is a great amenity. Parking is free and safe. Drinks at the hotel are pricey.

I had stayed here previously and that is why I desired to return. Despite the upgrades and remodel the A/C units were not replaced. Our unit was broken and even after being fixed it broke again. Two of the worse nights in this unusual heatwave. Also, no mini fridge and ice was only available from the bar in the lobby. With only one elevator this was very cumbersome. Sorry they did not meet my expectations this time around.

Elevators were down , we had to go through the staff ones , loud neighbors hard time falling asleep , banging noise early in the mornings

Everything was excellent even with the remodeling that was being performed. Service was excellent and prompt. I recommend it very much.

Our stay would have been much better if our room was not directly located next to the gym. We could hear every workout. The property is also under construction affecting the look of the pool and reception areas. Overall the stay was decent and the restaurant staff was great.
