The room had some damage but did not compromise the stay. The bed seemed like the sides were not supported for someone to sleep on the edge

The studio room is an absolute bargain. Has seating and stretch out room for 2. I would recommend staying here to anyone coming to Beckley

Carpet in the room was old, damp and gross. The couch looked like it came in off the street and was completely worn out. THe pillows were flat and the shower had black mold.

A lot of road noise is the main problem with the room we were in.

The desk clerk was excellent and offered further help if needed! His room selection for per my request could not have been better! "KUDO'S TO THE OLDER GENTLEMAN" !!!

Friendly clerk at checkin. Room was decent, tv wasn’t set up properly and required manual intervention at every power on. Bathroom floors need mopped between guests. Room door didn’t close great and it looks like it’s been broken open several times. Breakfast is perfect for non-diabetic people…carbs, carbs and more carbs. No protein to speak of and the first table we sat at had a loose tabletop. Could use some cleanup and either don’t offer continental breakfast or add hard boiled eggs or something healthier than a Danish and waffle.

We had 4 rooms: one smelt like smoke, one was musky, one the carpet was wet & the room stunk, one the door would not lock!!

The property need a serious update because the property is still under maintained. The toilet seat was extremely loose to where is was coming off and it took them three days to fix it. The toilet was also dirty under the rim and there was several gum spots on the carpet which it has not been shampooed in a while because of the dirty spots throughout!!!

The hotel is close to main highways, shopping. I would definitely recommend it. It would be better if the water in the pool was heated. The continental breakfast could be better. I have visited this hotel for years but I have noticed corners being cut. Hopefully management will not let this hotel run down. It’s a great place to stay and it’s pet friendly!

Usually, Microtel Inn's are fantastic. Have stayed at then throughout the country. Rating at this location indicated 8.2 / 10. No Way!! Did note that this was individually operated. Microtel needs to think about forcing ownership change.
Bathroom dirty. Temperature in the room was set to heat at 85 degrees. It's August!
Checking in was a treat as well.
We arrived around 11:30pm Front desk girl was outside on her phone factiming with what appeared to be her boyfriend. She comes in 5 minutes later (mind you, we walked right past her coming in with luggage). When she did come in to check us in, she continued to be on the facetime call with whoever he was. Very unprofessional.

Subsized housing really pissed when i paid so much people outside entrance smoking. First day we aŕŕived police showed up this is a hotel not a Section 8 facility would never recommend the hotel

I really wanted to give a good review. The hotel was quiet and the staff was friendly. But our room smelled terrible. The carpet outside the bathroom was soaked when we got there, so I guess that's what it was.

The rooms look decent in pictures, but ours was so dingy. It smelled like a chain smoker with a wet dog lived there. We didn't even feel comfortable putting our bags down.
I spoke with 2 different employees before my arrival who told me a crib/pack and play was available. One woman said she put the request on my reservation. When we arrived, the employee told me they didn't have any in the building. After 45 minutes, she finally called her manager who said he had no idea why someone would have assured me I'd have one.
We ended up leaving and staying somewhere else. The lack of cleanliness was unbearable.

Our room was dirty and smelled. The paint on the walls were peeling and the bathroom door needed replaced! It wouldn’t shut the bottom of the door had pieces broken. Paid $165 for the night this place should not cost more than $50. I would NOT recommend staying here. From photos online it looks like a decent place. It’s not!

The staff was kind, especially housekeeping. That is the end of the positives. Our toilet didn’t flush. One of the beds was clearly slept in before and not changed. The room smelled like stale smoke even though it was a no smoking room. The TV did not work. Needless to say, we will not be back.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This hotel is disgusting. We refused to stay there after both rooms we were shown were filthy. The manager, Jeremy, refused to provide a refund even though we did not stay due to the conditions. There was left over toilet paper in the bathtub, stains all over the walls, furniture, and mattresses. The furniture was torn and broken, the entire hotel smelled like chemicals, and one mattress was moldy.

the shower didnt have a plastic shower liner and also the cloth shower curtain didnt extend to the bottom of the shower... hence the water went all over the floor when i showered :-}

It was clean and affordable and average as far as care so worth the value. Coffee available 24/7. The room did not have a mini fridge, hairdryer( had to ask for one) the bed was less comfortable than most but I survived it all. The hotel is outdated but well kept. Again worth a good/average rating.

The place need to be updated, the tv it’s old, the carpet was dirty the same as the fridge, the couch was the worst it has stain and marks that it made me didn’t want to sit there or place my bags. The orange juice they serve it’s mixed with a lot of water so it taste disgusting, the bathroom looks clean but it’s not.
