New hotel with impeccable customer service, personable staff, great food, and a fantastic bar/lounge area. Perfect for a long weekend stay and Exceptional in every way!! I must return!

Just amazing staff

Fantastic hotel, beautiful beach which was very calm. The staff are all really attentive and the rooms are lovely and great quality food

The property is ok. Before booking, I didn’t know that the property was split in half. 1/2 of the resort is on one side of the street and then you have to cross the street to get to the other side. I’ve stayed at all inclusive resorts before but this one was pretty limited. There are only officially 2 restaurants to eat at that require reservations for dinner and the service is slow. There isn’t a wide variety of food options. The breakfast buffet was pretty much the same each day and so was lunch. The dining area closed between breakfast, lunch and dinner which only left you to get a sandwich from a coffee shop. The staff was ok. I didn’t enjoy always having to give my room number for any services like getting breakfast and lunch. Upon arriving I was given vouchers for the spa but at the spa I was not able to use them. They said they were completely booked and didn’t leave any space for people with vouchers to access the spa. I saw many of the same people back and forth to the spa and multiple days but never was able to use my voucher. The main lady at the front desk of the spa was rude as well. She gave off an attitude to people trying to use the voucher that was given to them. The location of the spa is right off the road so you can hear cars driving by from your room. The half of the spa across the street I felt was always unattended. I felt like anyone walking off the street could just come in while the main side always had someone at the entrance. The beach was nice.

The staff is absolutely incredible. Everyone was truly top-notch. Unfortunately the food variety is lacking. Overall we absolutely enjoyed our vacation

The hotel staff is great!! The property is a bit older and needing some refresh which Marriott is working on with the opening of the the Spa and Adult Pool. The main hotel needs a refresh now.

This was a wonderful birthday getaway in a boutique-style hotel and Spa. Spa services were performed in the suites as the hotel is undergoing renovation - be sure to enjoy the salt scrub and back massage! The pool was still available at the main building. Dining available at Seascapes restaurant or if you're interested in eating at one of their sister hotels, you may take a water taxi to Tamarind or Crystal Cove. Kyma Café is a great spot for a quick bite, or if you are feeling "snackish" overnight. Note, dinner reservations are required irrespective of site and request a copy of the water taxi schedule (or take a picture). If you are looking to explore local eats and excursions, or activities available on the premises, then Kevin is your man! The staff are like a family - welcoming and inviting, and we shared soooo many laughs! We are grateful for all who contributed to a great stay - Ryan, Kevin, Tiara, Ms. Beverly, Debbie, Rhia & Janisa, Ms. Cheryl and Oliver, Derek, Stefan, Daron, Sabrina, Christina, Sariah, Akeil, Jabaar, Kemal, Tanisha, Keshia and Kim, even the lovely Jennifer (yoga instructor). We connected with everyone - too many to name! Everyone is friendly and willing to help!

Great beach and staff.

Friendly staff, more limited dining.

Disappointing stay, while only on site a short time I felt that facilities were substandard, and staff lacked a real service / customer-oriented mindset. Building work was ongoing and Noisy. The day beds in the small pool area were next to vents from the hotels laundry making it particularly unpleasant.

Staff was great, very friendly and attentive. The private beach is ideal for families and the hotel in general is a great option for those looking for a midsize to small hotel where you feel like home. Only negative that goes for most all inclusive hotels is that the quality of the dining meals are average at best but it gave us an excuse to dine out and meet new places. Otherwise, the hotel was great, reasonably well located on the island and a relaxing place to stay.

I cannot say enough good things about the hotel. Everything was clean, the staff are amazing and the food was great. Many different activities offered and beach was beautiful. Highly recommend this hotel.

Our vacation at the waves hotel was amazing! Plenty of good options for food, great access to the water and the staff were absolutely incredible. I cannot say enough about the staff, they really made our vacation even better. I would highly recommend this hotel.

amazing staff! beyond the best

Everyone at Waves was very attentive and kind. The beach was beautiful. The room was comfortable and clean The food was delicious. The resort had fun daily activities so we didn’t feel like we needed to leave, but when we did the surrounding area felt very safe. We can’t wait to go back!

Well trained, patient, friendly and enthusiastic staff. Superb management and staff looked cared for and happy. They were willing to share knowledge about the island..for example I enquired about a church within walking distance and was told. I enjoyed the food; the hotel provided a tasty array and daily variety. Well done chef. The banana bread was in a class of its own.Cold water always available including refreshing drinks. Daily activities onsite and off site. The choice is yours and then, theres always the beach

The room was average and in need of an upgrade

The all inclusive feature is terrific. Plentiful food and even mixed drinks all the time but unfortunately, the food was mostly poor. The drinks were nice to have but not fabulous by any standards. The surrounding area was truly awful and the property’s beach was limited. Despite an attentive staff, our stay wasn’t great.

Our stay was amazing . Ive stayed here a few times... it is my favourite hotel in St James and the staff are second to none. They go over and above for their guests . Nothing is too much trouble. The food is great, it is great value for money . The amenties are great and tgeres plenty to do. The views are just amazing. The manager Kim is an absolut Diamond. Thank you guys for everything Samantha

Beautiful view, listening to the waves every day. Hotel is modern, nice and clean although a bit dated. Staffs are super friendly and welcoming. Beach is narrow but still lovely. Food and drinks are nice. We enjoyed it a lot despite the other side is under renovation.

The staff was efficient, friendly and patient, always eager to help. I especially liked that they personalized a birthday card, along with wine and cake for my birthday. Very thoughtful gesture. The only thing that I think could be better is the room, it needs upgrading.

From the moment of our arrival to our departure, the staff at Waves was friendly, accommodating and consistently went above and beyond to make our stay a great experience. One of many instances of this was when we needed our bed linens changed at 10pm I requested linens but mentioned I would change the bed myself, and just moments later the concierge came to the door with an entire set of clean sheets and insisted that she make the bed for us as it was “not my job” as a guest. Travelling for the first time with an infant was daunting, and the Staff at the Waves was incredible. From the dining staff, concierge, bar staff, housekeeping, beach staff, security, and even the GM, Kim, everyone was so helpful and loving with us and our daughter. Thank you to everyone. Above that, the hotel common spaces as well as our room was beautiful, modern and impeccably clean. 10/10 would recommend. We’ll be back.

If you are looking for a boutique all inclusive experience, then this is your place! Just back from a holiday of a lifetime. Service A . Special shout out to Jason the driver, Valarie, Jared and Antione, Kim and Kimlee. The food was 5 star, the drinks got you tipsy and the live bands were amazing. Memories and friends made.
