My wife and I have stayed here before when we visit family in the area. As usual, all was good.
My only complaint is that the TV was very hard to turn on.
I had the desk person change the batteries and still the
tv would not turn on except with difficulty.

Very nice. Easy to check in and out. Room was very clean. Friendly staff. From Michigan and went to Morgantown, WV. Visited West Virginia University Campus on family business. The hotel was very easy to get to from the highway. Sonesta Essential hotel was great. Would stay there again!!

Hair on bed sheets. Open soap package in the shower with no soap. Wondering if someone had stayed there the previous night without a cleaning.
No batteries in the remote. No coffee ready in the morning. Toilet leaking from the flange onto the bathroom floor. Not a good experience from what appeared to be a fairly recently remodeled hotel.

Our room was kinda small with no mini fridge, but was clean, had TV and a nice small bathroom.the bed was also pretty hard, my wife and I tossed all night.The breakfast left more to be desired, the had a waffle iron but no batter, and no fresh fruit either. There was sausage, eggs, bagels, cereal, muffins, toast, yogurt, orange juice, milk, and apple juice. For the price though it is what it is, a clean hotel with a breakfast.

The staff was extremely helpful. The room and overall appearance of hotel was run down. There were exposed electrical wires where it appeared a smoke detector should be. Breakfast was mediocre.

My first stay at your hotel. The very top thing about this hotel was the very friendly staff. The environment was very welcoming, the hour was late and the person who checked us in was so kind and personable that made us feel right at home.

So while there were some issues with my room (neither bed had a blanket, but the front desk gave me one right away) and the walls are fairly thin, it still was a nice stay.
The front desk staff is fantastic and honestly they made the stay much better. They were quick to take care of any issues and always had a bright smile!

General looks of the hotel were great until we got into our room. Only half of the lightbulbs worked, the room smelled like an old lady lived there long term, bedding was very scratchy, pillows and bed unforgiving, towels and washcloths were scratchy as well and breakfast was mediocre. Overall not a terrible stay but not a comfortable one.

It was very noisy all night. There was an empty room beside ours and it was empty. The window was left open and the tv was on and very loud.
The floor needed swept. There were hairs everywhere. The desk chair had food all over it.
Bed was comfortable. Pillows were throw pillows with pillow cases on them. We mever slept all night with the noise going on. The staff was very helpful and nice.

Ordered room for 3 people gave me one queen bed and the bed was the worst I've ever slept in. Only got 2 hours sleep after driving from New Jersey. Only gave us two towels for 3 people. Air conditioner was loud. Breakfast was horrible. Waffle maker wasn't working properly, waffles stuck to it so not able to even eat them and not much choices for breakfast. Would not recommend this hotel, especially for $124 for a weekday.

My room looked like it needed a deep clean. There was mildew on the ceiling above the shower and the tub was cracked. I had to be careful not to step on the crack because it had sharp edges. The sink constantly dripped and the sink area was not very clean. The air conditioner didn’t keep the room very cool even when I set it on 62. The TV channels came in fuzzy and I asked two people at the front desk for someone to look at it. Apparently they did not. I will not be staying there again!

Kylie greeted us with a warm "Hello" and checked us in. We moved our luggage upstairs and upon returning downstairs she told me us fresh baked peanut cookies would be finished baking soon. Our room was clean as was the bathroom and my wife and I a restful sleep. Would stay here again just because of the hotel's personnel.

The bathroom was missing a hairdryer (which was most likely stolen by a previous occupant) but the staff found one for me. The floor behind the bathroom door was nasty (dirt and hair). The ice bucket that was in the room had water and debris left in it and was not emptied and cleaned out. This property could be really nice but the cleaning staff needs to be trained properly so they will not miss these small details. The fresh baked cookies were awesome!

I liked how it was close to the places i needed to be at. The staff were super nice during my stay.
The only downside was the rooms needed updated A/C, as both rooms i stayed in 210&212 for both stays, did not seem to be able to keep the room cool on max settings, 210 the toilet kept running water, but i suspect they addressed those issues since my stay.

We were put in a handicapped accessible room. I don't know if I made that mistake or if that was all that was available.No counter in the bathroom to put toiletries. Refrigerator was beside the bed - very narrow opening to get up from bed - especially in the dark at night! Several light bulbs out, including the one over the bed and there were no lamps on the side tables. Just needs some serious upgrades!
