The room was big and clean. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. Staff were extremely nice. We stayed here because downtown hotels were charging ridiculous rates for UT family weekend. It’s an easy drive to campus and an excellent choice at the price point!

We were staying here to go to the Vols game. It’s a perfect location because it gets you out of the crowded downtown area of Knoxville, and there are many places to eat, grocery and gas stations near by!

The staff was EXCELLENT! We enjoyed the pool, and the breakfast bar. The common areas were very clean. Check in/out very easy and quick!!

We loved this hotel. It was perfect for a short get away and is now on our favorite hotel list. The hot tub was wonderful. It was quite, clean and we felt like we were in a private get away.

The room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The third-floor hallway had a bad smell, but the room smelled worse. That was the least of the problems. Not once during my 3-night stay was the room cleaned, even after they were specifically asked to. The towels had been replaced, but that's all. The floors weren't vacuumed and there were visible fingernails, hair and other debris on the floors. The tub had a soap scum ring around it. The outside of the tub was splattered with something. Crumbs in the draws, spilled drink not cleaned up, ripped and stained ironing board cover. The flood mat under the refrigerator was half falling out from under it and lying on the floor. So much more to complain about, but I think you get the idea. None of these things in and of themselves is horrendous, but put them all together, and it makes for a pretty dirty room and obviously incompetent cleaning staff. I hope the next screen allows me to share photos, because it was gross.

Check in was easy, room was comfortable. The bathroom sink was plugged, maintenance used Draino which drained the standing water but didn't allow the drain to clear. It was too late to call back as we were tired from a long drive. Room had what we needed for an overnight stay and was convenient to restaurants and shopping.

Its in a great location, the free breakfast is always awesome and the staff is very nice. We've stayed two different occasions and will stay again (:

Good clean room of adequate size. Excellent breakfast each morning and will stay there again next time we are in Powell area.

The room smelled a little musty. The toilet was not level. Marks on the mirror of the closet. Tape inside the closet.

Outside of our room smelling bad everything was fine, we were in a pet friendly room that could be the smell.

Would gladly return.

I did enjoy this hotel, however it does allow pets. We had a dog staying on the first first floor, and we were on the third, and this dog barked alll day! I didn’t complain or anything, but just be aware this is pet friendly. I didn’t realize it, I probably wouldn’t have stayed if I had known.

Great customer service

Every staff member I ran across treated me like I was a guest at their home, and they were glad to see me. Not too big, not too small, and central to so many conveniences, I now won't stay anywhere else when I go to Knoxville.

This hotel should not be rated as an 8.8/10. The sheets were not well-cleaned, the comforter was stained, and the area under the mattress of the pull-out bed clearly never gets cleaned. The heavier blanket stored in the closet very visibly had several strands of dark hair on it. Tiles of the bathroom floor were cracked and wobbly and there appeared to be mildew around the tub. The room also smelled AWFULLY of cleaning chemicals and there was no window to open to air it out. We got an unlucky room for which the window was located right behind the hotel sign, so we were looking at concrete a couple feet away and got zero natural light let alone any view. The breakfast seating was not adequate; 6 of us had to crowd around a small table that would be snug for four and we saw another poor family doing the same. Definitely not worth the cost at all.

It was a clean room and the staff was friendly. The hotel appeared well maintained.

Our stay was excellent! We arrived in the morning after traveling all night. The hotel clerk was so nice and let us check into our room that morning. The breakfasts were good. The room was comfortable. The night clerk was very informative about the cost of the room and signed us up for Choice rewards. We didn't know that Choice Hotels, etc. do not honor Hotel. com rewards so we didn't use our free days.

Our room Was hot to begin with when we walked Int. So apparently, the air conditioner was supposed to be left on. It was not and the higher cool button wasn't working correctly. It would shut down the system so it took even longer for the room to cool down, which I was not excited about especially after driving 8 hours, we were very hot. To say the least on top of that The blow dryer in the bathroom Did not work. Properly So I had to have the lady at the desk.Replace that which took a little while because of course she was busy Never had that problem. The breakfast could have been a little better.The last time we stayed at the hotel.It seemed to be like the breakfast was a little better than this time.Don't know why I feel like that, but that's what it seemed like to me.The atmosphere was a little different than the last time we stayed there. The other problem that I had was that I felt like housekeeping was hurrying us to To get out of our room , so they could clean it.They kept asking us Several times every time we left the room they ask if we were checking out I don't find that to be necessary but maybe that is what they're told to do I don't know.

Everything was as listed on the website.

Only complaint is the beds are fulls not queens and I don’t like being upfront with the car traffic coming in at night. Otherwise nice room and breakfast
