Very comfortable stay, both rooms were clean with good bathroom facilities and tea/coffee making station.
There was a Restaurant on site and room service was very delicious and a reasonable price.
Staff were very attentive.

Room was clean and big enough for 3 people. Bathroom was also big and clean. However old taps with separate hot and cold water taps and there was no ventilation in the bathroom. We had to open the small window that was facing possibly the kitchens exhaust pipe. The room was on the 1st level, not ground floor, and there is no lift. So it was very inconvenient for us with huge and heavy luggages. I also don't see the point of the heavy door above the staircase that totally annoyed us as we were coming in or out with both hands carrying heavy bags. This hotel is not recommended for those with physical disabilities. Maybe they do have rooms on ground level in another wing... Otherwise it is okay for a couple of nights.

One nights stay. Was perfect and a great location, Wanted somewhere safe to leave the van and a comfortable bed and thats exactly what I got.

During our stay, we encountered a couple of unexpected issues, including finding hair on the bed and a spider in the room. However, the staff promptly addressed the situation by replacing the bedding and offered to make amends with breakfast, though unfortunately, we were short on time. Despite these occurrences, the overall experience was pleasant, and the staff displayed professionalism throughout. I believe these were isolated incidents, and I would still recommend this place without hesitation.

Love the bath tub in the room and the staff was lovely. we would definitely stay here again. We loved how close it was to the train station. only 30 minute train ride to Edinburgh is perfect.

Would have liked to see a hairdryer in the room. To be fair, I didn’t ask if they had one I could use. Good location. Walking distance or bus nearby to go to city Center.

The staff at the Pitbauchlie are excellent. Special thanks to the chef for catering to my food allergies and providing me with tasty meals and the the waiting staff for all being so helpful and cheerful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The gardens are attractive and well maintained.
We have been guests, either to stay or for an event, at the Pitbauchlie for over 50 years and are never disappointed.
We hope to stay again soon.

We were only here for a night and it was one of the most lovely experiences. Everyone was so nice and the food was amazing

The staff are very helpful, friendly and cheery. The hotel is quiet and peaceful and so relaxing. The rooms are clean, tidy and the bed is very comfy. We had decided to change our double room to the deluxe room. The member of staff on reception was so helpful and got the change of room sorted out very quickly. We really appreciated him doing that for us. Thanks again.

Nice clean place. It was good to have a bathtub for our grand baby. The breakfast was great. A little pricey but great variety and traditional Scottish experience cooked right then. A lift would’ve made it a little easier to get our bags up to our rooms but the staff was very nice. A fridge in our rooms with a kettle would’ve been great too but we were able to put stuff in the fridge in their kitchen. They have a small library.

Enjoyable one night stay. Hotel and the grounds are clean and well presented,, staff are friendly, professional and welcoming.
He’s was very comfortable, and clean.

My only critique was the shower - the glow was very poor despite trying all settings. Would book again though

Good alternative to staying in the centre of Edinburgh and paying the high prices of the hotels there. There is a bus stop approx 10 mins walk away and buses every 30 mins right into the centre
Very comfortable room with plenty of space. The bathroom has a bathtub which is always nice when you have been on your feet sightseeing all day

We loved our stay. We were greeted on arrival by a member of staff who made you feel like you were a guest instead of somebody just paying for a service. First impression counts. The bar staff and dining room staff were also very friendly and courteous and there was ample car parking although it was very busy. The grounds must look lovely in the spring and summer and so we intend to stay here again.

Nice property. Staff excellent! Only negative was no elevator. While there saw a lot of elderly people having to get luggage to second floor. But staff was very helpful and around to lend a hand.

I loved this place. The staff were so friendly and helpful, it was peaceful, the beds were super comfortable and it exuded all the Scottish charm I was hoping to find.

It was a warm day and the heating was on full in my room. This made it so uncomfortable to stay in so went to the restaurant. I ordered steak pie but did not enjoy it as the sauce was tomato based sauce. Not to my liking.
