We stayed for 5 nights and walked down to Broadbeach restaurants most nights. Approximately 10 minutes. Great room with fantastic views of the ocean as promised. Very friendly staff, good pools, close to the beach and handy to all Broadbeach offers.

Location to beach

We stayed 7nights in a smallish , one bedroom apartment with fantastic ocean views. It was older style but in reasonable condition, apart from minor paint maintenance jobs that need doing. Bed was good size and comfortable. Lounge furniture fairly new but quite slippery to sit on and outdoor cushions used on the couch kept sliding off. Kitchen good size and everything worked. Bathroom a tad small but great shower. Enough hanging space for clothes . Carpet could have been cleaner as there were a few stains , a good steam clean would not go astray. For the price per night so close to the beach it was a good deal. Balcony fairly big and furniture in good condition. Wonderfull sunrises!! The indoor pool and spa were very good- very nice temperature and fairly clean, although some of the tiles above the waterline could have been cleaner(not sure if this is a scale or chlorine problem). The outdoor pool was very nice but we didn’t use it. The walk to Oasis shopping centre took us longer than the stated ten minutes as one of us had sore knees(both in our 70’s), so for older people of average mobility it does take longer than 10 minutes( about 20 minutes). It’s also a fair walk to the nearest light rail stop at North Broadbeach. It does depend on how mobile you are of course . Dining options are plenty and great at Oasis but nothing close to the apartment. Overall we had a pleasant and relaxing week, excellent access to the beach for our daily beach walks. We would book again.

We enjoyed our stay, beautiful sea views , couple minutes from the beach. 8 minutes walk to shopping mall. Property was clean, staff were great. Will be back.

Staff at reception were very friendly and informative, the accomodation could do with a refurb but having said that, the apartment was clean and tidy and perfectly situated.

Very central to both Broadbeach and Surfers. Easy to locate . Great view from sea facing unit. Nice and quite at night , no traffic noice.

I made this booking for my brother and his wife to celebrate their anniversary and obviously wanted them to have a room with a decent view of the ocean. I received a confirmation that the room was on level 12 so i did not call them separately though i had mentioned on the booking notes this was an anniversary celebration holiday. When they got there, they gave them a room on level 2 with very limited view of the ocean. I rang their number which went to their after hours service who did take my message but i did not recieve any response. I am very disappointed with their lack of response, proper communication and care for guests.

Great location, very helpful and friendly staff. Apartment was spacious and great views of ocean, but could do with a thorough clean.

Our room was not cleaned. Glass doors were grubby which spoilt the view looking out. Floor was not swept nor mopped. Toilet not cleaned. Couch felt dirty. Kitchen was not cleaned to the standard to receive the next guests eg toaster was full of crumbs. Kitchen needed a good wipe down. Dirty utensils. Overall, very disappointed and would not stay there again.

The view of the ocean was excellent. Unit was good although in need of updating - get rid of carpet would be a start.

Update styling & cleanliness for a penthouse!! Master bedroom needs full mirror & stying. Liked large living areas but needs a refresh of paint!!

Loved our stay here. Only 1 negative is that it says pool towels are supplied. There was no mention of having to pay to use them. We were under the impression that the money we paid for the towel was a deposit to be told later no it's not a deposit. When you get 4 beach towels it ended up $20 out of pocket. Maybe should specify that a payment is needed

We wanted to completely chill out on our second stay at Ocean Royale. We loved the views, saw whales in distance, ocean sounds, the calmness of the place, and that it was a quiet and smaller apartment with lift. Easy walking distance to everywhere, and beach access was a few seconds walk. Stayed with my 10 year old for over a week, we swam, we spa'd and we sauna'd, every single day. Walking into Surfer's Paradise or walking the other way to Broadbeach was easy and 705 bus out front or short to walk to tram. Lots of places to dine, or order in. We will definitely visit again.

Great property Well maintained Clean Top location

Great location, 50 metres to the beach, North facing unit overlooked the beach but also had views North to Surfers Paradise, West to hinterland with beautiful sunsets and South to Broadbeach.

the position is fantastic but needs a lot of upgrade and more care of cleanliness I don't think I would like to stay there at this stage

Pros: Staff lovely, great location/view and good amenities. Unit was good size for a couple. Cons: Unit was old and outdated. Foxtel not working and TV has green band on screen. Was too old for chromecast use Curtains perishing with all the hooks rusted. Mattresses old with no toppers. Stained when sheet pulled back No air con in bedroom

Good affordable accommodation in a centrally located property. Close to waterfront. More coffee, milk and soap would have been welcome. We would certainly stay there again.

Room was in poor condition, big stains on carpet, no DVD player , balcony small, sliding door out to balcony couldn’t be locked. Overall, our room was dated

Very good location. Great ocean views from 13th floor. An older style building. Some of the fittings in the unit had been there for a number of years and a refurbishment would help modernise it. The unit was clean & the front desk person was pleasant & helpful.

The view was spectacular we had a corner apartment so we had views from all angles it was overlooking the pool area and uninterrupted view of the beach and ocean. The air conditioner is only in the living room We could not open the windows or doors for the lack of flywire screens The fans in the rooms need to be on all the time especially in the bedrooms as they don't cool down

Property needs to invest in new appliances, example tv are old , vacuum cleaner went on but had no suction to clean carpets . Carpet had a bad smell , needs to be changed. It would make a difference to who ever stays at resort

The communal areas of the hotel were great. Nice pool and outdoor areas. However, the apartment was old and not well maintained. The outdoor furniture on the balcony was broken. The furniture and condition of the room were old and hadn’t been maintained adequately. The reception was only open during business hours during the week and on the weekends closed at 12pm. We were told we could store our luggage after our checkout however when we checkout we were told we only could store for 2 hours because the office closes.

Good sized rooms. Good indoor pool. Close to beach and attractions
