We arrived without expectations but it was a wonderful stay. Tuesday night was a Sardinian dinner and the Chef did a fantastic job.

For an expensive resort, our rate average about £200 per night, it was okay. The rooms were not turned over every day, towels, bins etc. which I was surprised at for a 4 star place. Everything worked and the place was clean but it's a bit tired looking and the rooms could do with a make over. There is better value for money out there!

Overall design of the hotel is good, staff are very helpful and warmly. Room is comfortable, very quiet. A little bit far from beach.

Tranquil, beautifully maintained, super friendly and helpful staff. We look forward to our next stay which all agreed is a must. Equally loved by kids and adults.

All Staff very welcoming and attentive. Service was excellent at breakfast & dinner. We especially enjoyed the themed dinners and fish bbq. The pool & grounds were exceptionally clean & well attended. It was a beautiful place to stay and very relaxing & tranquil. It was within walking distance of Pula town centre, the beach & the Roman ruins. Would highly recommend this place to stay.

Just returned from a week away. Very relaxed hotel - not crowded. Rooms were clean and comfortable although take a travel kettle if you like a cuppa in the morning. Staff were polite and unintrusive . Food was good but choices limited - there are restaurants nearby. Overall I would recommend this lovely hotel with its beautiful pool .

Beautiful resort hotel with immaculate gardens and pool. Good breakfast and great service. Perfectly situated for beaches and local sights with a car.

We had a one-bed apartment that allowed us to self cater some nights. It was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. The pool area is lovely with plenty of both sun and shade. The staff were friendly and helpful. They helped organise activities and had good recommendations for restaurants. The resort has a lot of mosquitoes, wasps and ants but they don't seem to have a plan to deal with them, or measures in place such as door screens, outside repellant options, regular dusting with ant powder or similar. You can borrow a plug-in mosquito repellent and tablets but it was ineffective.

Nice clean hotel. Friendly staff and about 10 min walk into town for places to eat. Beach is about 20 but they even have a free shuttle bus, had a great stay, would come back.

Lovely place. Clean, lovely pool and great staff. 10 minutes walk to Pula centre which is a most charming place in the evening with plenty of good places to eat.

The staff at Lantana were incredibly helpful and very friendly. The room, and resort generally, was very clean and had great facilities. The resort is also only a short walk (15 minutes) to Pula where there are lovely restaurants and bars. Chia is also a short drive away for some beautiful beaches.

Located roughly equal distance from the town of Pula and the local beaches (about a 15min walk), our room was basic and ‘rustic’ ... a bit too basic given the 4-star status. The buffet breakfast was also very basic and limited. The only hot food available were scrambled eggs and boiled eggs, and the fruit consisted of large slices of melon and peach halves. But worst of all was the caffe Americano which was undrinkable...even the waitress concurred. On the positive side, there's lot of on-site parking, the reception staff were very helpful, and the pool area was quite nice and relatively peaceful.

All kept spotlessly by the friendly cleaning ladies. A nice, big pòol with enough sunbeds. The restaurant food was tasty with a different choice every night. Shame there wasn't more choice of wines. A short walk to Pula village & shops; Nora beaches 2km. One negative: On arrival, they tried to con me into taking a 1st floor room, indeed when I objected, the receptionist said "it's all we have available". I showed the invoice which clearly stated I'd paid for a room with garden terrace. A miracle - suddenly a garden room was found. In short, I have a message to Management - this was "Naughty" - it left a very bad first impression.

We had an absolutely delightful stay at our Lantana Apartment. The staff were polite, professional and extremely helpful. The whole place was spotless and the grounds were beautifully kept. The photos on the website are exactly as it is. There was obviously a great deal of care and attention given to the upkeep and look of the resort. There is a definite 'family-run' feel about Lantana and the staff are discreet but always on hand and friendly. There is a free shuttle service provided by Lantana Hotel to Pula beach and also to the Pre-Roman/Roman archaeological site which are both in the same location and only half a mile away...or you can do what we did which was to hire a few bikes for the day and take a leisurely cycle to the beach and then later take in the views on the way to the centre where there are plenty of places for a nice cold drink or a meal. We took a train from the airport to Cagliari centre and then a bus from Cagliari centre to Pula (The train station and bus station are located in the same square). The bus is only 3.50 euros each whereas a taxi would cost you about 85 euros. Or you can hire a car at the airport which I would recommend of you are staying for more than a few days as we did. We will definitely be going back again!

we had a relaxing family holiday and couldn't fault this resort or the town

This was our first family trip to Sardinia and its was awesome. We originally booked a standard room for 2 adults and 2 children (6 year old and 2 year old) but after raising our concerns about the bed size - the hotel automatically upgraded us to an apartment with a queen bed and double sofa bed and kitchen area. Even before our trip began their customer service has been excellent. We wanted peaceful beautiful views, a large kids and adult pool, excellent food and a clean apartment and that is exactly what we got. The staff gave us mosquito plugs and refills for free for the occasional mosquito and were very flexible with our children's needs. I would recommend this hotel to every family and we are already looking to book at the same resort next year!

The apartments are facilities are well maintained and the pool was perfect offering sun for my wife and ample shade for me. Good choice for breakfast, food of high quality. We ate lunch and dinner at the hotel on a couple of occasions. For this holiday you need a car although the town centre is 15 min walk. Tip, avoid the restaurants on the main piazza they are poor, but just off the square there are some excellent ones that are very cheap.

This is a fantastic hotel with excellent staff that can't do enough for you. The place is very pretty due mainly to the excellent gardens and it is kept spotlessly clean. The only negative is that the good, including breakfast is fairly average.

My boyfriend and I arrived at midnight but still, everything from the transfer from the airport to getting into our room was qell organised. All of the staff were skilled in most languages and very informative about the local area. Anything could be arranged from trips, cars or scooters. The grounds are stunning and makes a lovely surrounding for when we just wanted to chill out instead of taking a trip. The pool is a good size, enough for grownups and children, plus plenty of loungers and chairs and tables, also well covered for shade. For light fun, there is table tennis and a small, well-kept putting green. I made good use of the 3x a week pilates classes and they also offer aqua gym in the evenings. The Massage/treatment Marquee was also very relaxing and reasonably priced. It is well located between the main square of Pula which has an ambundance of nice restuarants and bars as well as Nora Beach where there is the Laguna and Roman ruins. Lantana offer a marvellous shuttle service there and back which can be arranged at the drop of a hat. The food was delicious and fresh and it seemed there was no request too big, from Cocktails by the pool to an evening snack. On one trip day, we were part of the pickups to other hotels, across Chia and Saint Margherita and there was nothing we saw which made us want to stay any where else. We were only assured of our choice. Hope to go back sometime, for sure!

This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. It isn't flashy with a massive range of facilities but it it was a delight to stay there. The staff were very helpful without being intrusive - nothing seemed too much trouble. The food was excellent - not a wide range of choice but always something that we liked. The location is quiet and the accommodation comfortable. I would go there again without hesitation.
