The property was nice, the matress on the bed was not big enough for the bed and the bed was so loud even turning on the bed it made a sound, this the first hotel i have went to and the bed they claim is queen size didn't have a big enough matress and was just loud, no comfort.

My stay at Ocean Reef was like a blind date. Having only online photos to go by doesn't quite paint an honest picture. Space was adequate however the entire property is in need of upgrades. Room was pretty warm. Window AC wasnt pushing out enough cool air to circulate properly. Split unit cooling system would be more efficient. Bed mattress was way too soft. There was also a moldy smell. That said, I was unable to get a good night's rest.
Staff, convenience, and location were the greatest pros of staying at Ocean Reef. Once this property gets a much needed facelift, it will be an ideal option because everything else is a plus.

Nicely remodeled hotel and friendly staff. While the listing reads parking available, it is parking on the street, in nearby parking garages, or valet parking. It is a great location with the beach only a block away.

Very good location in south beach area..steps to beach..great shopping and dinning options within 5 minutes drive..and just 1 block behind ocean drive..all the art deco hotels..great walking place besides ocean in the evening..very lively high end neighbourhood..

The staff is friendly and nice. The location is good. The room is clean and nice. The only issue was the breakfast menu. It is almost nothing. Only waffle, toast, coffee and mini spread cheese packets. I hope they can add more staff to the menu.

Impecable cleanliness, cozy, comfortable beds, spacious room, close proximity to anything: beach, Lincoln Road Mall, best restaurants in the area, Walgreens and CVS, Citibike stations. Friendly and helpful everyone who works in this hotel. It felt like home staying there because of them

The rooms were pretty dirty. The towels are bad quality. The window ac is complicated too. It was only cool on one side of the room and the bathroom area was very humid when we took a shower, and the floor of the shower is pretty gross with orange-ish marks on the edges. There is no ventilation. The stairs are sooo loud and very old. The whole place needs a remodel. There are a a lot of mosquitos too.

Pedro was awesome amazing outstanding. We didn’t have coffee cups with our plates so I went to office and asked Pedro and was told that the property had taken them away. So I said we drink coffee out of coffe cups not paper since we had them on our last few trips there so he want to find us some coffee cups which was an awesome thing to do. Please share this with him. The only other small thing is our room was much smaller than other times we have stayed besides that the room was good. This is our 3rd-4th time staying there so we really like the property and the location so we will be back. Give our thanks to Pedro. Please commend him properly

I booked for 8 days, it’s perfect for a beach type of people, cause they have 2 beach chairs that comes complementary, (umbrella is not included). Everything is in a walking distance which is super convenient. A lot of bars and restaurants on that street and Ocean drive is the next street, full of dining and bar options. Staff is very helpful. I’d definitely come back. They also have a coffee and tea station 24/7, water fountain.

You really should have sn ice machine or at least provide ice making tray for the freezer. Yoy could just get dollar store ones and charge if broken or lost. I know you can go buy a big bag of ice but there would be no place to keep it as rhe freezer is very tiny. That being said the staff was extremely freindly and very accomidating to our early arrival and 40 min late check out.

They just placed me in a room that I did not pay for. Said that they were upgrading my room, but put me in a handicap assessable room. Refused to accommodate what I paid for. Charge you for towels. Breakfast was horrible. No elevator. I had to walk two flights of stairs to get to my room. Overall, worst experience ever.

Right there on Collins in center of activity, dining and a block from Ocean Drive activity/madness. Be sure you enter precise address in your navigator, otherwise you are led a half block away in alley

My husband and I are frequent visitors to Miami Beach and this was our first time staying at Ocean Reef Suites. The hotel was well kept, the rooms were a great size, the staff was friendly, we loved the beach chairs that were included at the beach, and the coffee and breakfast in the morning was a plus. It was a quiet location as well. Most places we've stayed at have music bumping all hours of the night into the morning, which is expected in Miami Beach, so we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was here. Great for sleeping. You can also request a hot plate to cook on which was such a great thing to have as well.
The only grievances I have are that I wish there were coffee mugs in the room for coffee or tea. They provide you a coffee maker, but no mugs, you have to go to the lobby and use the tiny paper cups they put out. Lastly, the hot water didn't always work. My husband and I were able to work around this because we're early risers and go to dinner earlier than most, but during peak hours, forget about having hot water. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

The place had a good location, but the place itself was a bit run down. The bathroom had poor ventilation, toilet also struggled to flush. Beds were terribly uncomfortable, but the place offered breakfast in the lobby and had a dining table in the room for you to eat.
