I booked super last minute for a basic room with king bed. To my surprise, we ended up with an ocean view! The room was super clean, trendy, comfortable bed and huge shower. Right on the beach and walking distance from food and fun. I will definitely come back.

Service at the restaurant/bar was terrible. TV in room was cheap and terrible screen. Seems like you want to be high end but lots of ways to go.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Allegria. Everything was perfect.

Beautiful, and clean. My dog is more than welcome. I felt like a special guest. Allegria is my preferred hotel for when I’m in Long Beach

Staff was rude, checkin 3pm rooftop pool closed on a 78 degree day at 4pm, room service closed early probably the worst hotel for $400 per nite ever, unfortunately it the onle hotel in Long Beach. Long Beach a beautiful city and people were nice. Very sad that the hotel cant get its act together

The staff is what I will come back for!!!!!! Hotel it's self.can use renovation but the staff is so great you won't notice 😁

Loud parties and drunk people.

I had no lotion, shampoo nor soap. The dispensers were empty! Hated this place and couldn’t even drink my drink at the pool without a server scolding me. She said a glass I bought at the bar was unacceptable at the pool and made me pour it into a plastic cup. Then, they had no service at the pool which people were there. The key cards never worked as well and I had to replace so many times. It’s just a bad place and people stay there cause of the location. They seriously need help. Awful experience and just way too expensive!!! ZERO STARS

Our original room had no air conditioning. We were moved to a much smaller room. The water was brown and smelled like chlorinea. We couldnt even brush our teeth.

Second stay with my kids. It’s easy. The beach isn’t amazing but it’s more than adequate for a little dose of sun, sand and waves. Quick walk to the main drag where there’s tons of good food options.

The hotel is right on the beach and also has a pool. The room was not as clean or user friendly as I would expect for this price range. Light bulbs were out, the hand cream dispenser was empty, the shower didn't drain, there were cracks and mold in the shower. The pool had clearly not been cleaned in while either. But the bed was comfy and the staff friendly. One thing we noticed that was there were loud bangs coming from nearby rooms. Not sure why but they caused a few jump scares.

The ocean view room was excellent. We went after Labor Day and had free parking on the street every night. The hotel has chairs and towels for the beach, which was easily accessible. Several great restaurants within walking distance.

Great beach town hotel. Great area to enjoy the beach, shops and restaurants. Set your expectations accordingly and have a great stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel. Amazing location right on a boardwalk, overlooking the ocean. Beautiful amenities, with a great rooftop terrace and pool. Hotel staff were also super friendly, and the restaurant served us a lovely breakfast overlooking the boardwalk and ocean. We will definitely be back.

My room wasn’t ready until after 6pm when I was supposed to check in at 4pm. I didn’t have any towels in my room and had to ask twice for towels. The staff was very nice though and provided a glass of Prosecco

Shower was cold. Scaffolding and construction outside the window in the morning.

Short on staff; poor room supply and maintenance and everything cost extra - beach fee, Valet ($49 a day) and not even free coffee! Staff are pleasant.

Parking really expensive, food not too much options, restaurant closed before 9:00 pm, toilet terrible I had to use water conditioner. 3 days parking 375.00 dollars.

Room was nice and clean but the lobby, bathrooms and pool area were dirty. Never enough pool towels or beach towels. Rude staff at chair and towel rental for beach as well as dining staff at breakfast. Pool area messy Food was good at breakfast easy check in and check out Location great for beach and dinner

Beautiful hotel with terrific staff. LOVED MY ROOM. Disappointed I had no access to the rooftop pool when I checked in due to a wedding. I was not informed of the absence of this amenity until I took the elevator to the roof. If you don't care about the pool - you will LOVE this hotel!

Great location right in the beach

They never give me back my $2 days hotel deposit. Calling management multiple times and still waiting.

Was so excited to stay here as we heard great things and it is right in front of the beach. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations or the money spent. The room was very dirty, visible stains on the carpet, sheets and even hair on the shower walls. Great for the location but felt we needed to immediately shower after we left.

We come here for a girls’ trip every summer. Last time we were here, I was double charged for the resort fee. Another time, there were squatters being evicted from the room next to our leaving piles of trash in the hallway. This time, we found random restaurant fees added to our room. I went to the front desk at 3:55pm to show them our restaurant receipts and ask for a refund for the overcharge. They said they I had to work it out with the restaurant. I headed upstairs to the restaurant. Everything seemed fine, waited for a while, then went to check what was going on. They wouldn’t issue a refund until they “investigated the extra receipts” they found. I mentioned that my friend who I was traveling with is disabled and couldn’t comfortably wait around for long. I asked if we could move it along. Nothing happened. We finally got a refund at 4:28pm. My friend complained that we had to wait around for half an hour. She was told “you didn’t wait for half an hour” instead of “sorry we made a mistake then treated you like you might be lying.” I have time stamped texts, but also, weird move for customer service. Basically, stay here for the location and the fact that it’s handicap accessible and the only hotel on the boardwalk. Don’t expect 4 star accommodations. The bar tender was lovely and the housekeeping staff and beach hut staff were very nice. Unfortunately, after several years of “meh it’s the only hotel option” we’ll be looking into vacation rentals for next year.

I come each year. The housekeeping was short staffed this time. Food was delicious. Workers were helpful.
