It was the perfect location with friendly and helpful owners and a lovely and comfortable place to stay.

The owners, Amy and Brian greeted us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the property and made sure we understood the door locks and breakfast time. We were spoiled with a delicious hot breakfast every morning; Chef Brian really knows his stuff!
Amy helped us upstairs with our baggage, and gave us recommendations for lunch while we were in Gettysburg.

The suite we stayed in was very nice. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The owners were very nice helpful. The inn is walkable to all the major shops and attractions in town. The included breakfast was excellent. Our only complaint was noise from the busy street (it was Bike Week), but this was no fault of the inn.

This was our second stay. Highly recommended. The breakfast is amazing. The service is excellent. The owners are friendly and responsive. The location is excellent and walking distance from numerous areas with many restaurants nearby. We plan future visits for sure.

Excellent B & B in centre of Gettysburg. Brian & Amybeth were super hosts & the breakfast, cooked to order, was delicious. We had the Catherine room which consisted of a separate entrance, a bedroom, lounge with tv & bathroom. Would definitely recommend.

The inn was excellent and really quaint. We loved the interior but the non-stop heavy truck traffic and related noise really bothered us. Otherwise, the service and food was excellent and the inn keepers and staff were first rate.

This was our best and favorite stay on our 10 day x-country adventeure. The "feeling at home" was a comfort to say the least in a town such as Gettysburg.

The staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The room was clean, even though a few signs of wear were evident here and there (due to the age of the building and some antique furnishings). The bathroom was nice, however, the shower could splash water out onto the floor. The amenities were good, although water bottles in the room would have been a nice touch. The bed was clean and comfortable, and our stay was pleasant. The breakfast was wonderful with a number of home-cooked options in a delightful room. We would definitely stay here again.

It is a beautiful property spread over many buildings. We were in an out building - 3 flights of stairs up! Be sure to check the location of your selected room to be sure you will be comfortable with climbing if necessary. It was not their fault. Didn't really read the room description well. Breakfasts were very nice, staff and owners very attentive. Will return -- just at another altitude, LOL

One of our new favorites! Our hosts were very accommodating and informative, as well as two of the nicest and hardest working people! Our room was adjacent to the main area which required us to walk a very short distance outside to go to breakfast, but was it ever worth it! A daily choice between 4 made-to-order dishes served with fresh fruit, coffee and juice. It was enough to keep us fueled for our long walks around the city until dinner. The Inn is convenient to the city proper and you can easily walk to many sites. Parking for the inn is a designated lot within a block of your accommodations.

Hmm, a well-worn claim. Got to sleep in a room that once housed Abe Lincoln (was a bar, I believe). Absolutely grand place to stay, and won't break your bank. Walking distance to heart of Gettysburg. Easy drive to all the must-see places. Avoid the chain-hotels, and enjoy some nostalgic life, meet some hosts that are dynamo's to their guests.

The building itself is a gorgeous historic building. My “apartment” was spacious, clean & beautifully decorated. The owners, and staff, were very welcoming & friendly, make you feel welcomed & relaxed. The breakfasts were delicious.

It’s all good here. The perfect place to stay for a trip to a town like Gettysburg. The people who own the B&B are fabulous and the old, beautiful home is amazing.

The inn is beautiful! Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was sooo good! The owners are such nice people and were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.
If there's a downside, it's that the inn is right on the main street, so noise is a problem. Overall, we'd highly recommend the Brafferton Inn.

Quaint Bed and Breakfast, great location, close to many downtown restaurants. The owners were outstanding and very helpful. Their breakfast menu was great and delicious. We would recommend this establishment to everyone traveling to Gettysburg. Very reasonable rates, great value.

We stayed in the Eisenhower room. Good size, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was provided each morning in the dining room. We had several things to chose from and they were different each day. The food was great! The Inn is located very close to the downtown area. Easy walking to virtually everything. Great sense of history with this place.

Run to the Brafferton Inn if you are staying in or around the Gettysburg area. Brian& Amy were amazing hosts, fun knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to. The friendliness of the staff (and Brian’s mom!) was above & beyond as they took us for a tour of the Inn and explained the history associated with it. Will without a doubt be back to stay& visit
