Property itself charming and cozy. Our room was clean except the very old carpet which was wet around the sink area and smelled damp. Gym was outdated , some equipment down and some rusty, the shops were closed mostly and was so dead. Literally nothing to do at the property or walking distance . Booked a spontaneous getaway without planning much but was disappointed at my poor planning bc the location was a fail.

Oceans is an outstanding hotel in every way. It is on the water, great views, fabulous rooms and high end amenities. Their spa is world-class. Many excellent restaurants are in the area. It’s quiet and serene. Parking is onsite.

Delightful stay and lovely area. Everything is right there. Great restaurants, beach and marina.

Everything went smoothly, I arrived early and was able to check in early. The staff was very courteous and helpful.

Wonderful hotel, perfect spot, it is due for an update or renovation, but clearly has been taken care of. It is the best spot in half moon bay.

Mold around the bathroom area. Sink was leaking and we told the staff. One pillow had sweat stains on it

Fabulous location. You can walk to all the restaurants, shopping, beach. Customer service is excellent. We will definitely come back.

Best experience ever! Everything is within 5-10 minutes drive

Lots of amazing fresh seafood within 10 minutes or closer to walk. Loved having a fireplace in our room. We had our robes on with the door open at night listening to the happenings while watching a movie and running the fireplace. The ultimate relaxation.

We did not see a notification if there was one online as we booked our two-night stay showing that nothing was open Monday thru Wednesday night at the property. No Bar & Grill, No Room Service, No Spa services and no shopping to speak of on site. All closed IN THE SUMMER even....on the very nights we were booked. VERY disappointing especially for the price of rooms. Probably not returning ever.

Really nice stay at a very comfortable hotel. Great location allowed us to walk to almost everything we needed. Really nice spa experience as well. The weather was great and we escaped valley temperatures of over 100 degrees.

This was perfect for what my wife and I needed. A fast, easy getaway to clear our minds. We’ll be telling others to stay here. And we’ll more than likely be back 😁

The hotel is nice. Very cute and quaint inside. It was clean and room service was delicious and quick. My only complaint is the price compared to to what you actually get. If the room was actually on the ocean instead of having a parking lot in between the ocean and hotel I would be willing to pay more but I would say the room was worth $250/ night max

Rooms were large and had all the furnishings needed for a completely restful stay. Hotel staff were very friendly and courteous.

The desk clerk was very efficient and friendly. The hotel was very clean and well cared for. We also really like the underground parking. We didn't care for the wide open wall between bathroom and sleeping area with only shutters to provide privacy and nothing to block typical bathroom odors. Also the restaurant on site was closed, with no notification. Fortune were able to find another close by.

There were three staff at the check in desk and I was the only guest there, no one was very enthusiastic to help. I was given no information but after many questions I found that the restaurant doesn’t open weekdays so there was no dinner or breakfast or even a drink, not even a cup of tea! This should be made clear to guests that the facilities advertised are not available, we may have just got a cheaper room elsewhere. The room was very spacious and had a lovely view but the furniture was dated. Some was supposed to be shabby chic but other furniture was just tatty. The gym clearly isn’t used, the water machine was empty and had been for some time and, although there were a number of machines, there were no free weights or mats for stretching. The only great thing about staying there was finding the Fishtrap restaurant that was excellent!

Perfectly located and cute, but need to consider adding a solid wall in between the bathroom and bedroom. Black out blinds would be appreciated. Thanks

I loved this place. Especially the fireplace and deck overlooking the harbor. Super spacious.
