Location and ambience

Everything was wonderful. Lovely room, gardens and food at the on site restaurant. The owners are lovely. I left my Kindle behind and Jean Francois kindly posted it back to me at no cost.

Nice location, good breakfast, comfy bed. Host recommended a nice restaurant in Dieppe because they’d closed their restaurant that night.

Hassled by text messages from host prior to my arrival saying the restaurant was closed and wanting to know exactly when I’d arrive (I’d already said on booking.com). I told them again. Perfect, they said. Then, ten minutes before I arrived, they texted me that they’d decided to go out shopping. They did wait for me after an awkward conversation but host was surly and rude. Never again. Plus, house in pic is not where you stay!

Beautiful property. Peaceful. I loved the heated pool. Even the pool shower has heating. Best of all, the great staff: Jean-Francois and Patrique. When I come back to Normandy I will surely stay again.

How can one write two to three sentences when there is nothing to complain about. I can't think of anything that I disliked. It's good as it is. Never change.

Facilities were good, hotel had a nice garden with trees and horses.

- We weren't received very kindly. Jean irritated that we had arrived too early whilst we only wanted to just drop our stuff. I get that it's not ideal when guests arrive early but you don't have to be so obviously irritated, you could still be friendly to your guests. - The rooms were not cleaned very well, there were multiple spiders and spider webs. by the looks of the spiderwebs it looked like they weren't cleaned well for a while. - During check out he made us pay for the room by card, when I explained that the room was reserved on my creditcard and normally it should get paid automatically he said that it wasn't the case and made us pay... at the end the the room was on my creditcard fortunately the other transaction didn't come through. you would think it's not his first time right? - during the stay we didn't really talk to the owner given that he was quite rude at arrival. during check out I asked for a cup of coffee for the drive home and we paid 4 euros for those low quality coffees from the machine. I mean if he had said that's on me he would've have made a much better impression.

The breakfast was extremely nice so much we booked up to have breakfast.

Would have been lovely to have had dinner on the night we arrived, was not informed we needed to book

Stunning property in a very peaceful area, still close to the sea, Dieppe and other places of interest. Excellent dining and tasty breakfast with home made marmalade, best ever

We had a fantastic stay - my only small criticism is the 3 course menu, no choices. It was fish and I dont like fish but they did make me an omelette once I asked......
