We stayed at the Viceroy for the Jazz Aspen Festival and I have to say I was so impressed with the staff at the Viceroy! They had the most organized, convenient shuttle system for the show. No other hotel in the area was set up in the same way and it really made a difference. I was extremely impressed and would stay at the hotel again.

Hot water boiler was broken (fixed the second day in the evening), housekeeping didn't show up the first day, asked for towels that never showed, no coffee in the room or in the lobby, asked for extra coffee and they sent decaf, the list goes on...just poor all around.

Hotel was great, location was great, Really enjoyed Snowmass in the summer. Had to leave one day earlier than expected, due to some storm damage back home, and the hotel accommodated the early departure.

I asked for a quiet room. It was quiet during the night but early in the morning it was noisy because it was right by the garage door. We ordered room service for breakfast. It was not made to our specifications and the coffee came in chipped cups; not even a little pot of coffee. It's bad enough to pay an expensive resort fee but you shouldn't charge tax on it.

Between the busy road, the evening cocktail party by the pool, the person smoking on their patio, the kitchen smell coming through the room vent, and the new construction next door, this was not a relaxing stay. We paid over $500 a night and it was not worth it. The pool area was dark and had no lighting in the evening. The carpet in our room was stained and frayed. It was nice having a washer in the room, but it smelled very moldy. The receptionists (Ashraf and Yuki) were amazing. They made us feel very welcome.

Nice and quiet location. Nice and helpful staff members. That being said, our rooom specifically needed some work. The shower handle kept falling off and hard to work. The refrigerator was busted and wouldn’t go below 47 degrees. The room keys took several attempts to work each time we attempted to enter the room. Also, no towel racks which we have seen in most hotels these days. But, you would expect them in a high end resort hotel. The best part of our stay was the valet workers. Very upbeat, helpful and kind.

Sherri at the Viceroy was TOP NOTCH and gave us what I refer to as “unreasonable hospitality and customer service!” We live in a world that rarely gives 5-star service without charging an outrageous sum or without requiring request. Sherri at The Viceroy went ABOVE AND BEYOND and made our stay not only exceptionally comfortable, but a memorable experience worthy of sharing!!!! Thank you, Sherri. The Viceroy Hotel is lucky to have your managerial skills!!!!

Construction is ongoing, elevators were broken, $55 'hotel fees" at check out along with a valet that was not mine. Hotel shuttle is $120 one-way into Aspen. This hotel clearly doesnt care about the customer.

The breakfast restaurant service was terrible. Sat down at 9 AM and could not get even a coffee until 940 and even then they brought it cold.
When checking out the valley service took forever.

It was not worth the cost. The hotel is no cleaner and the service no better than a Hilton. For the money, the fees, and resort charges that are 22% on top of additional fees.
We had a sweet note in our room welcoming another couple, not us.
The elevator does not go down on the 6th floor by pressing the button, you have to press the up button get on the elevator and press your down number before someone calls it.
For as little time we spent in the room and the overall experience, we could have stayed at Motel 8 and saved hundreds of dollars.

We came during off-season, so the property was quiet and felt very private. Luke was so friendly during check-in and recommended dinner options in aspen due to restaurant being under renovation. Anca at Nest was a true joy. The rooms were clean and cozy. The double sided fire place and Mountain Views were incredible. The pool could have used a clean, but the temperature was comfortable. We’ll be back!

Great ski in/out option for Snowmass. Room good, although the shower was not the best. Very convienient to have a pretty good kitchen in the room.
Pool and hot tub great although were not functioning fully for a day or 2 was corrected quickly when hotel reception notified.

Property was amazing! We had the most pleasant stay we've ever had for our ski trip.
Location is right by the lifts and they have shuttles to take us everywhere and made it super easy with the kids.
Staff is so friendly and accommodating.

This hotel was the best. Everyone was so nice & welcoming. Its so convenient cause theres plenty shops around that the shuttle can take you to or you can walk. As a solo traveler what mattered the most to me was safety & i felt that staying there. Its a beautiful, clean, quiet hotel

Great staff and tasty breakfast. Shuttle to and from the airport was very convenient (and free!), and there’s a bus to Aspen that stops 5 mins away from the lobby. Ski rental shop and spa also good. Great and spacious rooms - we will stay here again.

The staff were not very helpful or friendly. The room had no light or a view. It felt very closed in. The bed was not comfortable. I’ve stayed at cheaper places with a much better time. I regret paying these prices and coming here and getting a sub level stay.
