We had an excellent stay at Silavadee. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. Messaging on the app when we wanted to book anything or ask a question was really smooth. There was a broad selection for breakfast, and the food at both restaurants in the evening was delicious. We also did the Thai cooking course and market trip with a chef which was very fun and well done. The room and private pool looked like the pictures. We also enjoyed the private beach on the resort.

The resort is a bit away from the towns, but we knew that before booking. Silavadee organises a shuttle bus to both Lamai and Chaweng which can be used to visit the towns.

My room was beautiful and comfortable! I had a nice view, a jacuzzi, bathroom with shower and bath along with a nice window into the bedroom, and a super comfy bed. The pools, beach and dining options were great overall. The app is really good to use and buggies were always available to take you to and from places. I also loved the spa and did 2 treatments there. The staff are all so kind and helped with every request we had, including arranging taxis and suggesting where else to go.

My friend didn’t get the room she booked. Nice room just like mine but no view, a jacuzzi they couldn’t use, and a pool that was too small to do much in. Another thing (but this is out of the hotel’s control) is the beach was way too rocky to swim in and made it impossible. Pools would have been nicer if they had a cooler - or a public jacuzzi. Overall it’s such a huge property I expected there to be more pools for those who don’t have one in their villas.

The service is amazing - the app is so useful and comfortable. The room was very nice and the bed was so comfortable! The hotel is beautiful, breakfast was good, and the private beach you could spend hours on.

The spa is very overpriced for Thailand (but the massage was very good).

Just returned from a 10 day stay over Christmas. We were a family of 4 and my partner and I had villa 32 (ocean front pool villa) and our (adult) children had separate garden rooms next to each other. So many good things!! Breakfast is just phenomenal - we all looked forward to this as the highlight of our day. Fresh fruit, endless choice of coffee, juices, eggs and even deserts from the menu plus a huge 'buffet' with fresh fruit, pastries, savoury items like cheese, bread, meats, hot foods, thai food - best breakfast ever. Wifi is fantastic throughout (even on the private beach). All the staff on site are just so polite and friendly and welcoming. Particular mention must go to the team on Reception and at the Beach (on the private beach there are sun loungers with umbrellas, you are provided with towels and fresh iced water). There is a bar on the beach too and lots of activities seem to happen daily. We even saw a monitor lizard in the sea! The wildlife was another highlight. Food at all the restaurants are really good although there are a few good restaurants nearby to mix things up. All in all, I felt this really was a luxury experience and I would happily revisit another time.

One of the best places I have stayed at, I did not want to leave. The breakfast was superb, and the spa was fantastic and fairly priced for the quality on offer.

We booked a suite with a private pool. It was 2-stories so each bedroom was totally private and the pool was easily share-able! Each evening the staff delivered a lovely baked "treat". The breakfast was something to look forward to...from the cooked-to-order eggs or waffles to the fruit, cheese and bread selection on the buffet. There are 2 beautiful infinity pools to enjoy and the beach is private and quite lovely even tho it is a bit rocky. The staff there is so helpful if you want to paddle out on a surf board or snorkel or need a drink or a towel. Always with a smile. Dinner options are 2 restaurants - one Thai and one Western. The food was both beautifully presented and delicious. Something for everyone on the menu. The room was lovely, appointed with a coffee and tea maker and small fridge. Very comfortable bed and nice linens and pillows. The bathroom was also nicely appointed.

The bed floats in the room, so there are no bedside tables...only a high headboard to put your eyeglasses or book...and no light next to the bed or on the headboard, so no reading in bed. In fact, the light in the room and the bathroom was too dim. Better lighting on a dimmer would be helpful. Plus...the thermostat and light switches were not self-explanatory...took a bit of getting used to.

starting from the reception -which was breathtaking- and the friendly staff that makes you feel at home, and they go beyond to make you feel comfortable, and the whole experience of the resort, was exceptional, never to forget trip. the room was clean and neat, the jacuzzi with the view is amazing, the food at the restaurant is delicious and they offers good variety of foods and drinks, the chef was so considerate and friendly, we wanted to try their spa facilities, but unfortunately it was fully booked, a highly recommended place to stay in
