Some staff had terrible and unfriendliness’s attitudes. The bathtub didn’t clean when we checked in. I asked to clean it, they were unhappy and grumpy. It was unacceptable behaviors.

Good Hotel and close to centrum. Really hot and heavy air without AC and lack off vents. Other than that it was a complitely ok stay.

No ventilation at all. Very heavy traffic all night. Dificult to sleap due to the nesesety to have OPEN Windows. 30 degrees during night. Not cooler as they said it would be at night. No fan avaliable all week. Due to this we will not recomed this hotell

Good location for accessing Dortmund city centre whilst not being too central for it to be too loud. However, pretty dated decor throughout, areas of the hotel had evidence of slow renovation work so was quite messy and clutteted. Staff were fine, room was ok, but no air conditioning or fan wasn’t pleasant. Sleeping with open window meant woken by loud construction work at 6:30am on one of the mornings. I wouldn't personally be back, but it served its purpose

Every think about the hotel excellent

Staying in this hotel is like staying in a Wes Anderson movie. The lobby is so grant and looks like something from a lost era. There were almost no guests when we where staying and it felt kind of deserted - staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms do not match the rest of the interior although spacious. Breakfast was the worst I've ever tried in a hotel. Location is central. All in all a very interesting experience that I would recommend. But eat your breakfast somewhere else.

A very dated property but close to the central station and other areas. The room didn’t have AC, the window was blocked as there was scaffolding for workers who are renovating some part of the property. The room is very old, didn’t find any shampoo or soap. The carpet or decor was a bit if smelly(just being very old). However, friendly staff and good location.

Great location and very clean

My stay was significantly impacted by the behavior of two receptionists at the hotel. Upon arrival, I questioned the necessity of providing my information again, as it had already been submitted through Expedia.com. Unfortunately, the receptionist's response was rude, despite his ability to communicate in English. Additionally, he did not direct me to a colleague who could assist in English. When I inquired about my room requests, the receptionist became defensive and aggressive, insisting that such requests were against hotel policy, although doing it later on with no issue. His behavior escalated to shouting and mocking, which was deeply unacceptable. Despite my attempts to address the situation with his colleague, who refused to provide the manager's contact information or the name of the rude staff member, no resolution was reached. While the staff member later apologized privately, this was not sufficient given the public humiliation I experienced. Despite contacting management through Expedia, I have yet to receive a response or sincere apology. This review is written in a tame way, my emotions and anger is far beyond what I am allowed to write here.

Very nice hotel, walking distance from city centre (you can actualy see the first stores from your room) 10/10 would recommend. Next time in Dortmund we will stay again.

The rooms are outdated. The elevators are always broken or only one working. There is no washing machine or facilities like the website says. The entrance and dining area are really great though and the staff are 5xxxxx

The rooms are outdated and need some attention and maybe a microwave and fridge. The staff and the location are supperb and I was made to feel very welcome here.

Beds are terrible

These people were amazing! After a horrible experience at a hotel minutes before and having to book a new one, this was a breath of fresh air. The staff was so nice, the room was so clean, and i just couldn't say enough good about it.

I’ve been traveling all over Europe for business for a decade, and have come to Dortmund many times. This hotel is truly one of the worst I’ve ever seen, especially given the nightly rates. This would still be a terrible hotel for €50/night and at nearly €300/night it’s outrageous. Check-in took very long and even though I had my reservation confirmation and had paid in advance, the rude front desk employee tried to say that they were overbooked and we could have our rooms. We tried to order bottles of water at the bar in the lobby and they told us they didn’t sell water (with bottles clearly in the fridge behind them). My room was flooded one night and I called the front desk 9 times for help, finally walked downstairs to find 3 employees at the desk doing nothing. They told me they couldn’t move my room because they were overbooked, so they brought up a bunch of towels and threw them on the ground and said it was “fine”. Terrible breakfast, terrible service, wildly overpriced. Dirty rooms and hallways with holes in the sheets. No air conditioning and very noisy all night long.

Very nice property inside and out, and in terms of location. 6 minute walk to the Hauptbahnof is amazing. Rooms were nicely made up too, and we were given quite a large room on the top floor. The staff are exceptional. Will come back next year, thankyou.

It was a nice hotel but the price in the app did not mach the price we had to pay at the Hotel. The stay got about 25 euro more expensive, even though I showed the price I got in the app. Not good.
