Smoking smells in non smoking room with burn holes in blankets. Lamp broken, door frame around door broken and room phone didn’t work.

Check in was smooth and they allowed us earlier check in which was nice. But during our stay the wifi kept cutting out and there was cigarette smell coming into the room periodically. Wasn’t much for breakfast, things ran out by 7am and didn’t see anyone checking to add more. Only some hush browns (which was very dry) and some super oily bacon left. Later some hard boiled eggs were added I think someone went to the front desk to complain about the lack of breakfast items available. But the eggs were dry and kind of rubbery in texture. We were in the same hotel back in January 2024 and it was totally fine, so we booked it again for this September trip and this time the experience was not good. Not sure if there has been management changes in the meantime.

The manager here is a bit ridiculous. Multiple occasions I witnessed him arguing or being straight up rude to customers. Check in was supposed to be at 3 pm, showed up at 6pm and the room still wasn't ready so was told to come back around 8pm. Completely unacceptable.
Also couldn't get the TV to work cause the wrong remote was in the room so I called the front desk, manager said he'd be up in about ten minutes to resolve the issue. After about an hour of waiting, I went down to the lobby to find the manager sitting on the couch on his cell phone.
I feel bad for the other friendly staff that have to put up with this dude. He's absolutely ridiculous.

I paid extra for an accessible room ahead ofntime, and when i got there they didnt have the room i paid for available.
So i had to stay on the fifth floor.
I alos asked for my money back to go somewhere else or a discount because the rooms upstairs weren't as much to rent, but i was denied both.
Then the second day we were told we could move to an accessible room, but when we got to the front desk to move there was supposedly a leak in said room so we had to wait more to get into it.
The rooms were not nice rooms. It wasnt a pleasant stay at all and we ended up leaving a night early and we never received any discounts of any sort.

Room was only cleaned twice in 7 days, breakfast was often slim pickings even closer to opening, room key didnt work 3 days in a row, big hassle having to go to the lobby and wait in line for the slowest counter ive ever witnessed. Had to pay a local tax, worker couldnt explain to me the tax rate, even though they used a calculator to get the amount.

The bathtub was plugged and also the bathroom sink..Hair still allover the bathtub and our door wouldn't close.The shower was definitely not cleaned property. won't stay again.

We did not stay due to rotten smell and dirty rooms. Manager has 0 customer service skills and this hotel needs a lot of work. Making illegal copy of people driver’s license. Do not recommend!

Initially got put in a room on the first floor in what was clearly an older part of the hotel. Dirty hallway and staircase, and I got the impression that sketchy people liked hanging out in and around the hotel. Our room stank like an ashtray, so we requested another and relocated to the fifth floor, which was much better. In one day we saw the room service folks on our floor at 8am, 5pm, then again at 7pm, which we thought was strange. Also, the man at the front desk was just pretty weird to deal with. Not rude, just strange. He was also very insistent upon checkout that I leave them a review, which is the only reason I'm writing this now.
All other staff were polite, above the first floor was clean, and the room was fairly cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for.

When we arrived on Friday, the girl at the front desk was fantastic. We get to our room. AC does not work. The room is filthy dirty we stay there anyhow just suck it up next day complain we get moved to another room. Still filthy dirty dirty but AC Worked much better coffee maker didn’t complain. Got a new one. It was a waste of my money. I’m very sorry to say I did not enjoy it at all. And I would not recommend this hotel motel whatever you wanna call it to anybody at all

- 1st room I was given: cardkey didn't work, went back reception, was told to go back and someone will meet me back at the room. Went back and waited - with a cello on my back, computer bag and suitcase. Someone came with a metal master key - struggled to get in. Finally got in, staff member left. Had a quick inspection of the room - saw 4-5 drops of what appeared to be blood on the floor. No carpet in the room and no curtains. Instantly felt unsettled - why is there droplets of blood on the floor? Why is there no carpet - was it because of the blood? Why is there no curtains?
- Went back downstairs, with all my belongings. Lady at reception was very helpful and also concerned. She asked what was wrong while I was in line behind other guests and I decided not to announce it to everyone in the lobby. She quickly assigned another room for me. I later told her quietly what I saw in the first room.
Second room was nicer - had curtains and carpet - no blood stains. There was a large light brown stain on the boxspring cover. The desk, tables, nightstand surfaces didn't feel clean to the touch.
The fitness centre looked nice.
A lot of stains on the carpet throughout the hotel.
I really feel Radisson needs to make a dedicated effort to spruce up this hotel. It was my first stay and visit in Fort St. John and I will not be staying in this facility again.

I was an evacuee from Fort Nelson BC and was on my way home from Edmonton. I reserved a room the previous day as I didn’t want to do the trip all in one day. (1000 km)
I arrived just before 5:30 pm and was told that my room wasn’t ready and they asked me to come back at 6:30 or 7:00. But I had my dog with me and didn’t know anyone in Fort St John so I would just have to sit in my car with my dog. They allowed me to take my little dog into the lounge and have a bite to eat and watch the hockey game. When I went back to front desk they said it still wasn’t ready. They then told me they would call when it was ready so we just went for a drive and walk then sat in my jeep. I phoned 3 more times and it still wasn’t ready. Eventually they called just after 10 pm and said my room was ready. I asked about a discount and they eventually said they would give me 20% off and no pet fee. . When I checked out at 9:15 in the morning there was no discount and I paid a pet fee.
The girl that was at the desk this morning said I would have to contact the managers
and see if he would refund me something.
The other thing that was a little annoying was around 8 am the room phone rang , my cell phone had a text message and also an email reminding me to check out by 11. 8 am …. Really? If my room was still not cleaned after 5 hours then I’m assuming the guests were still there which means they probably got charged for the full night room rental. I booked the room through hotels.com C/I 3:00 pm??

Absolutely filthy… you would be better off sleeping in your vehicle which I would have done but had my children with me. Response from the front desk was “sorry we will speak to the cleaning staff for next time”
The front desk lady conveniently did not know how to refund the $100 dollar damage deposit back onto my credit card at checkout and said she would have to get the manager to do when he comes in later in the afternoon, I doubt I will ever see that back, also could not provide me with a receipt and said they will email it to me later, but never wrote down my email when I told her what it was.
Highly disappointed in conditions of the hotel, but unfortunately it was what was available last minute.

Only 1 key for 3 adults. 2 cofffe makers in room didnt work. Even the 2nd after asking for another. Didnt clean room or replace towels when requested to do so. Worst hotel breakfast ever. Dont stay here.

Mystery blue substance on the bathroom wall that will tell myself is toothpaste, sock behind the door bathroom door. Quite clear there has never been any cleaning done behind the door judging by the filth on the floor and the door itself. Multiple colors/ lengths of hair all over the beds. Most lightbulbs were burnt out. Different color temperature light bulbs throughout the space.
Cieling fan didn’t work, pull cords aren’t long enough. No switches on wall to controll fan.
Closet was dark and dingy, dropped ceiling tiles were severely water damaged and bowing.
Refrigerator can’t fit a large pizza.
Socks got greasy and black walking on the carpet.
Ideally. I’d like a refund.

I’ve stayed here plenty of times so knew what to expect concerning condition/age of hotel. First room checked into was dirty - rings on bedside, dirt in toilet and stain on bedsheet. Second room was ok. Was locked out of hotel upon returning at 11pm - had to call hotel number to let us in as nobody answered the buzzer on the front door. Had to do the same to check out in the morning. $200 deposit required and was notified it could take up to 45 days to return. Morning manager apologized for all issues but offered nothing to rectify. Definitely will not be back.

The shower in room 302 needs maintenance. There is very little pressure and the water never warmed up to a good temperature. It took me 3 times longer than usual to wash my hair last night 😣
