Our stay was absolutely amazing. The property felt like home and had everything we needed. Sandy was awesome at getting us set up and booking trips for us too. They do provide a set up supply of toiletries and toilet paper and tea and coffee etc but then you need to buy your own supplies. this was fine as the supermarket is a two minute walk away. the location is central to the main shopping area and a five minute walk to the beach. We had the best time ever.

No lift. Had to lug cases up 62 stairs. Room had not been cleaned. Paid and advertised as luxury apartments but old and outdated. We left and went to the Sheraton without staying 1 night there. Extremely disgusted with the place. Would never recommend to anyone.

No lift. Two long flights of stairs to get to apartment. Would not be suitable if older or heavy luggage. Good onsite parking and location. Building was having external cleaning done which often continued to about 10pm

The property is well cared for in a great position, the apartments have good views. Right in the middle of excellent restaurants, close to the marina and an easy walk to the beach.

We absolutely loved our apartment. Spotlessly clean as well as great location. Fully appointed kitchen, right down to the coffee pods. Walking distance to beautiful look outs, parks, dining and bars. Easy communication also.
Would highly recommend to others and look forward to returning.

Property is great with everything you need, centrally located, very walkable. Management office helped extensively on booking excursions but, duplicated one activity. Be sure to have made all plans for your stay prior to paying for anything. Also, Internet connectivity is horrible. I was getting 2MB per second. At home I have a Gig (500 times faster) They need to have 10MB at a minimum for a normal customer.

The property was a good size in a very good location. Communication and on-site help/assistance was top notch. Pool and surrounding area was as good as it looks and warm. Amenities wise, the dishwasher not working as it should and nor was the clothes dryer. The wi-fi connection was intermittent and terrible and is not really acceptable in this day and age at this price point.

Fantastic apartment for our family of five. Apartment had a fresh and welcoming vibe that made us all feel immediately at home. Location was ideal! Staff very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again!

The service by Jason was outstanding from the moment we pulled up outside the apartment block.
The pool deck is fabulous with plenty of day beds/sun lounges and perfect pool temperature.
Unfortunately our apartment was directly on Macrossan Street, so the late night noise from people on the street and also using the ATM (right under our bedroom window), made it difficult to get a good night sleep. Also, the apartment had a very uncomfortable leather lounge and the ensuite bathroom didn't have a door dividing it from the main bedroom.

We have just returned from a wonderful 12 night stay at Saltwater Luxury Apartments. We had a two bedroom apartment overlooking the pool with mountain views to accommodate our family of four adults. Ample living room space, two bathrooms with a well appointed kitchen and in apartment laundry facilities. Jason and Nathan were wonderful hosts who looked after us very well and accommodated any requests swiftly. Great location in the main street and far enough away from the pubs, so there is no noise at night time. This was our 5th stay in Port Douglas,however our first at Saltwater, we will definitely stay there again on our next trip.

The property is centrally located with nice mountain views.We checked in after hours following the directions provided in an email. A map would be more helpful (for key pickup etc.); Google GPS navigation did not follow the the most direct route making it hard to interpret thier instructions.

Please, do not be misled by the word LUXURY....the SALTWATER apartment we spent our weekend is quite old and tired (see attached photos of furniture and ceiling fan), just like the whole complex (which does not have a lift....quite annoying when you have to carry suitcases for three levels).The rules of this luxury accommodation require guests to remove their garbage when checking out and to place used crockery and cutlery in the dishwasher (which must be turned on, prior leaving the apartment). Check out is strictly at 10.00 am, however check in is not before 2.00 pm.Although described to have Garden View, our apartment was actually on Macrossan Rd, not exactly the quietest street in Port Douglas.....

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Port Douglas and easy walking distance to all major sites, shops and restaurants. If you are travelling with young children, go for the 3 bedroom apartment to give yourself some extra room.

Stayed 3 nights with 2 friends in a 3 bedroom apartment. The stairs to the apartment can be a bit of a workout, but once you managed. Everything else is brilliant. The arpartment is right in the center of Port Douglas with everything you need just a couple om minutes walk away.
Highly Recommended.

The room was very spacious, we would have preferred a slightly nicer smaller room but this would be a great room for a family with slightly older children/child (bedrooms not very close for young children and access to bathroom). The location in town with easy 5-10 minute walk to beach or marina was perfect. We did not use the pool, but it is small though adequate as it did not get much use. There is some noise from being right in town and the birds were surprisingly noisy (I guess typical especially for spring) but it did not bother us much. The room was nice and modern - not especially luxurious. Internet is very spotty, TV gets minimal channels (but who's watching tv!), and housekeeping is only once a week. You have to wash your own towels and dishes and take your own trash out, but the kitchen is well stocked for any cooking you want to do on your own.

Great location and very friendly hosts but very noisy. The starlings on the tree outside make a racket. A bit of a strange air conditioning layout as well. Air conditioner in the kitchen/lounge and second bedroom but not in the main bedroom. You could leave open louvers to the lounge but this presents a problem with kids in the morning so the main bedroom was too hot. Overall, not value for the pretty high price. We also had a balcony but the weird high canopy outside meant we really had no view. WiFi was also very poor.

Loved staying at Saltwater we were right in the middle of everything and didn't need a car. Staff were wonderful and the property is very clean and well maintained. Beds are great and rooms have everything you need whilst away. The stairs didn't worry us but older guests might find them a bit of a challenge and parents with prams - other than that its a great property to stay at and we will be back.
