4-Good location, especially for beach access. 4-Nice staff. 3-Property generally looks and feels tired, worn out… 2-Had ‘Don’t Disturb’ placard on door handle; they did enter anyway and did a couple of odd things when I was out. 1-Really, really disliked having to walk up/down 2 flights of stairs to get to my “classic” (their word) room; my 71 yr old knees were not happy.

I can’t recommend this hotel enough - nothing was too much trouble for the friendly, attentive staff, from providing extra complimentary bottles of water and biscuits, lending us a parasol for the beach, taking luggage to the room… The hotel is directly opposite a lovely family friendly beach with calm, shallow water, and there is a playground nearby. There is a boulangerie on the corner in a small parade of shops. Both Antibes old town and Juan les Pins are within walking distance. Our room was bright, clean and modern, the extra bed fit perfectly by the window and the air conditioning and the electric shutters were very welcome. The room had a kettle and a small fridge. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

The hotel was just great. Spacious and clean room, with a nice balcony with sea view. The location is great. Just a small walk (10 min) to reach the old town. A 15-20 minute walk to reach Juan Les Pins. To the closest beaches its just like a minute away. Breakfast was great! All people working in the hotel felt very nice and always helpful with a smile. An bonus was that the hotel has a private parking for their guests. Not all guests will get a parking slot, but still. Really great to have your car parked right outside. We really have no complaints! Thank you and we definitely come back once we visit Antibes again!

Very nice hotel with big rooms and cool interior. Friendly staff and a reception that is open 24/7. Comfortable beds and perfect air condition in both rooms. Coffee, tee, biscuits and water bottles in the room. The balcony with sea view was very nice too!

We enjoyed our stay here. The location is excellent—right across the street from the beach and walking distance to restaurants, old Antibes, and Picasso museum. The staff is cheerful and accommodating. Breakfast had a nice selection of foods. A good value in a great location.

Modern small hotel with comfortable beds, very clean, cheery and helpful staff, and a nice breakfast in the mornings. Well situated across from a lovely, busy but quiet beach and short walk to old town Antibes. Just delightful. Will definitely return!

We really enjoyed our 4 day stay in Hotel Josse. Lovely clean hotel, in great position. Breakfast was excellent, private and public beaches very close, beautiful views and lots of restaurants around, I recommend Sale / Sucre.

Stairs a bit of a struggle! Good location opposite a beach ( via a car park) 20 minute walk to Old Town. Average breakfast. Helpful staff. Nothing too great. Nothing too poor!

Very professional

There is only one drawback to this excellent hotel - the rooms are West facing and so the sun disappears over the back of the building too early in the day. That aside it’s all good.

My family and I spent one night at the hotel Jose. Both the location - the hotel is walking distance to family friendly beaches. - and the personnel - always cordial and ready to help - scored very high. Recommended.

Beautiful hotel, possible the friendliest people I have encountered in France. Fantastic beach location, proximity to old town Antibes and Juan les pins. Large spacious and immaculately clean rooms. Would stay again and cannot recommend highly enough.

Small, independent hotel where nothing is too much trouble

Hotel Josse was a wonderful place to stay. Friendly staff, great room with great shower and good air conditioning

Although the outside of Hotel Josse looks like a questionable motel, the inside is very nice and very clean. The rooms were quite comfortable. Of particular note are automatic shades that can come down to block all light. Individual air conditioning keeps the room very comfortable. The shower was very good. The hotel has a little bar that stays open until late. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only negatives were the location, the parking and the WiFi. We did not know that parking had to be reserved. Thankfully we did reserve it a few days in advance. The spot was in a garage that had to be open by a staff member. They squeezed two cars in back to back, and our second night the other car had not puled in far enough for us to fit. It looked like they had a better garage with an automatic door that must have been full. Although the hotel is directly across the street from a sandy public beach, it was not appealing. Every square inch of the beach was covered with people. The hotel is not close to any bars or restaurants (old town Antibes is a 15 minute walk away). Because we dd not end up using the beach, the location was actually an unexpected negative. There is free WiFi but it was so slow as to be almost useless.

Hotel is very clean, comfortable and well situated for all Antibes attractions

It was a pleasant stay and the staff were extremely helpful in getting us free parking. We had an ocean view and a nice balcony.
