Hotel staff called to let us know they checked us in and charged our card before we even got there. The hotel property was decent. The rooms were nice looking. There was food under the bed that we did not have with us (so it wasn’t cleaned properly when the last group checked out). The curtains were tied up in a big tangled knot, so we couldn’t close the blinds to sleep - was definitely strange with having people walk by and be able to look into our room.

It was clean and the stay was good. We would stay there again. One issue was that we tried to get a later checkout time one hour later (12:00) but the person who answered the phone in the office was confused by the request. She then said ok and would figure out the charge when we did checkout. Instead of dealing with the hassle and unknown charge, we rushed to finish what we needed and left by 11:00.

My husband and I needed a place to stay for the ATV festival. Mt Madison was perfect for our mini vacation-very helpful and attentive staff, lots of restaurants nearby and most importantly VERY comfy beds! We had a great time and will be staying there again next time we visit. They were even able to accommodate our friends who showed up last minute and needed a couple of rooms.

Checking in/out was easy with friendly and efficient desk staff. The room was small, but comfortable. Bedding was clean and ample towels provided. While the room was clean overall, there was noticeable dust and debris in the areas just beyond arm's reach.

Our room with two queen beds was comfortable and spacious. Bedding was clean and comfortable, with adequate towels provided. Desk staff was efficient and friendly, and we appreciated that they walked to our room to inspect it upon check-in. Only downside is that we would have appreciated additional outlets beside the beds!

Check in was fine. Got to the room and found bed bugs, do we left immediately.

Could be better

Images are a bit deceiving and make it look more updated and clean than it actually is. The room we stayed in was not clean. At least not to the standard of a hotel as the name depicts. All of the surfaces had a film and everything was just dirty with the exception of the shower (thankfully). There were splatters all over the TV, the mirror was smeared with something, there was dust and dirt everywhere. Walls had things smeared on them. Rooms need a major deep clean. The beds are spring based mattresses and have definitely been used past their prime. I do feel bad, there seems to be only one individual that cleans the rooms which is way understaffed for the amount of rooms they do have and the foot traffic/quick turn around stays they get. Which does explain the bare bones cleaning - change the sheets, wipe down the shower/tub/sink and move to the next. I will give the benefit of the doubt, lots of reviews tout how clean everything is, so maybe we just had a fluke room, but set your expectations. The images depict more of a "hotel" like room and these are definitely not that. Remainder of the grounds were old and outdated, but place provided a good jumping off point for the area.

The pool and hot tub were very nice. The air conditioner was not efficient as we would have liked.

Room could have been cleaner lots of dust even on carpets near beds. Floor in bathroom did not feel solid. Air conditioner was noisy. Someone should defrost the freezer in fridge! It was a brick of solid ice. Plumbing is bad... walls in closet looked unfinished. Right beside junction of two major highways. Next to a variety store and several good dining options. Near the center of Gorham.

Hotel was nicer then we expected, room was clean and updated.

Loud road

Room was run down and dirty. Toilet ran the entire time. AC was very loud and did not work properly. Doors did not close properly. Room had many insects. Furniture was run down and unclean.

8 miles from Mount Washington auto road. Small town, but nice.

The staff were super friendly and accommodating.

Owners on site were great! Pool and facilities were clean. Overall very satisfied would go back to there again when I come back

We stayed one night here in between our visit to Mt Washington and Santa’s village. It was adequate-pretty low budget. The shower made a weird sound and there was no conditioner. The beds appeared clean, the fridge worked and it was convenient.

Clean and quiet, even though it is on the corner of 2 fairly busy roads, and I was there when the Inn was full. I could barely hear traffic noise and heard virtually no noise from other rooms.

Conveniently located.

There is a room drop for those who miss the early 8:00pm office closure.

This property “loosely” resembles their website description. The room smelled like must/mildew and was tired and worn…no where close to deserving the $300 per night rate charged for our stay. Huge disappointment and embarrassment, as friends joining us for the weekend had followed my lead and booked there as well. Many other options in the area that looked much more appealing.

Walkin shower NEEDS safety. Convenient location along the main.street. Solid 4 overall. Would definitely stay again.

Bathroom was filthy. Carpets were vacuumed but brown because they were so dirty. Mother in laws rooms carpets were filthy as well. Sucker stick and cracker crumbs around wheels on bed. Brown smudges on all light switches.

Convenient location. Decent price. Friendly staff.
