Really lovely hotel with themed room that had plenty of character. Breakfast was excellent and staff were super friendly. :-)

Great place to stay. Perfect service. Mangers came after hours on their wedding anniversary to check us in as our flight was delayed. Excellent customer service. Great historical and charming hotel with superior customer service. A++

Wow!!! Loved it! I just booked the hotel a couple of hours in advance, and arrived very late in the night. I did not have any expectations, other than getting a bed for the night. The staff/owners are very service minded and friendly and welcomed me in the middle of the night and showed me to my room. As a pleasant surprise they had upgraded me to one of the best rooms, where you sleep under a roof window looking up on the sky/stars. It’s the biggest and greatest room I’ve ever had. Thank you! Too bad it was just for one night. I would recommend you to have a car if you stay there, not much going on in the nearby vicinity, and they have plenty of parking spaces. The wifi signal was strong, since it was a router/repeater in the room, an the internet worked great, even for streaming. I highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area.

Its rare these days to find a hotel thats even better than it says on the tin. The pictures are NOT colour photo shopped...the rooms have NOT been shot in panoramic and it is a real castle with led lit driveway at night and lovely grounds to walk or play with kids (there is also a small petting zoo).A fab romantic getaway for couples or families with kids ...with amazing bedrooms, ensuite bathroom and separate sitting room-we were given a choice of two rooms.Ten mins taxi from Weeze airport(17 euro transfer). Ten mins walk from the village and train station of Weeze which has some nice shops, pubs and restaurants.Just under an hour and 17 euro for return day ticket by train to Düsseldorf and the Rhine.Great shopping, food, pubs, atmosphere and people.The owners were helpful from before we stayed and throughout our visit, going above and beyond on a Saturday night to organise check out and a very early taxi to the airport as well as getting gluten free bread at no extra cost and giving me the rest to the home! Personal breakfast time..., by candlelight in the vaulted dining room ...was a dream.The most relaxing weekend and we will be going back for sure. Could not recommend more highly and could easily pay double the price and still be value for money.

Nice castle, nothing in the nearby town.

This was just a one night stay, chosen because of location to the airport. The room was huge, bedroom, sitting room, bathroom. Loved the décor. Only complaint was it was chilly in the room even though the heaters were on. I would definitely stay here again. The town of Weeze is just around the corner, not sure if there was a walking path to if from the hotel or not because there's a little river in between hotel and town.

Needed an overnight stay ahead of early morning flight. Hotel is a beautiful old castle and very nicely turned into accommodation. The advertised shuttle bus turned out to be a taxi and was €20 which was a bit steep. Would be a nice place to spend a weekend.

We decided to treat ourselves with a stay on a castle in Germany during midweek. We was extremely happy with the place and stayed 2 nights instead of the planned one. The staff is excellent and speaks English fluent. The room we got (starroom) was just wonderful. With the possibility to sleep under open skies we had a wonderful stay. The breakfast was just top of the line with enough food and great service. The surrounding area is quiet and very nice with the city of Kevelear and the amusement park Irrland close by. Both mentioned worth a visit.

My family and I stayed here overnight before a flight out of Weeze airport. The service was wonderful and the rooms were beautiful. My only regret is that we didnt get to stay there longer and enjoy the surroundings. The location was great, only 8 minutes from the airport and close to a town that had several places to eat. Would definitely recommend!

Comfortable big 2 queen size beds and family with 4 people can stay in a room. Nice breakfast in the dining room. Historical, but clean room. good garden. parking space. I want to come back with my family.
