I have stayed at this hotel many times. Expedia and hotel postings don't match. You pay in advance on Expedia and the room you get isn't the same and you can't do anything about it except pay the difference or take whatever room they give you

I have stayed st this hotel many times eith excellent experience. However, this stay had a lot to dedired. Bed was hard, room needed maintenance, and the room location was loud and mudic could be heard from discos till 4am.

Staff was very accommodating and helpful. There was some construction going on in front of the hotel, but that was not a bug deal. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The restaurant inside the hotel had excellent food.

the room that we book, was not the one we got,the Air was not working ,and have an allergy because of trhis and then they move us to other room, the TV set was almost so low very close to the floor, and the range of the remote was none, we have to stay very close to change channels, it was awful ;

The hotel staff was amazing, very helpful and friendly. The food is a little overpriced compared to other restaurants in the city. And the only bad thing was few other hotel guests don't respect the sleep time of other people, by playing extremely loud music from their cars parked in front of their rooms until late hours at night (this might be part of the culture). So, if you have small kids that need the normal night time sleep, you should talk to the staff during check-in. I'm sure they will re-locate you if they can. The rooms are clean and the service quality great too.

High end hotel at a good price. The AC was the strongest I felt in Cucuta and there were two separate pools. The room was large and comfortable with a minibar included.

We had a nice stay at the hotel. Rooms are confortable. Some people from the staff looked unmotivated but overall they were good. Breakfast is good.

Nice, clean, well located near the airport and the center town. Price maybe a little high but the overall experience was great. They have a huge and delicious breakfast included plus transportation to the airport, free charge!

the best of this hotel is the food, excelente breakfast. in general is like colonial stay, is fine. the room and the bathroom are big, but the toilette is very small, and bed is like a rock, you sleep well if you are tired jajajajaja

Nice hotel to stay with family, room were big and very clean up. Excellent mini bar. Customer service since we enter at the hotel was unbelievable they make us be at home and very well treated.

We didnt have a lot of time to enjoy the pools and what not, but enjoyed the drinks at the outside bar. The rooms were adequate and large with plenty of natural light. I especially liked the size if the bathroom. Great location too restaurants and shopping. The one thing I would like to see improved would be the quality of the mattresses. The mattresses were extremely firm...like I could bounce a quarter on them kind of firm.

For Cucuta, its a nice place. The grounds are maintained, there's a pool, and a full gym with an aerobics class and full weights. I believe its a full gym that has members that the hotel owns and gives the guests free access. As I entered the front guarded gate, I saw other cars such as a mercedes benz and bmw's - guests cars.
The staff were pleasant, well mannered and courteous.
My understanding as well, its one of the very few hotels with hot water showers. Since Cucuta is a warm city, most hotels don't believe hot showers are important.
The outside of the hotel is quite the opposite. I do believe its safe, its just not a commerical area by any means. Exito and other plazas are about a 10-15 min walk.
Overall I would return and try it during the day, I was there just for one night.
