Need to answer the door bell at the front gate. Or just leave the gate open. It’s confusing we’re to access the property. Need to restore the buffet for breakfast for what they charge. Covid is over.

Charming building, lovely neighborhood, very comfortable and elegant room, polite and helpful staff.

Staff was exemplary- multi lingual, extremely helpful, allowing for coffee only instead of full breakfast buffet. Worked very hard to get Tv to work with English subtitles or English dubbed- without success. Overall a lovely stay. Thank you!

A very elegant hotel a short tram ride away from the city centre. It has a very classic, stylish interior, which I like. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The room was a good size, as was the very nice bathroom, though I can imagine people travelling with multiple large suitcases might find the space insufficient. Everything was clean and well-kept. The only issues we had were that the pillows were very soft, and that the room was a bit warm due to the hot weather outside. The provided room fan did help somewhat in cooling the place down, though. I'd definitely consider staying here again because of the quiet location, the nice atmosphere and the excellent staff.

We loved the garden, which was a welcome respite on a hot day. We also were thrilled that a public transit ticket is provided with the room so we didn't have to figure out how to buy them! Very thoughtful.

Service was exceptional. Very helpful as we do not speak German.

Beautiful hotel a mile walk or short tram ride from the old town. We came to visit the Christmas markets and the hotel added to our enjoyment because it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The staff was excellent and very helpful in explaining public transit and in helping us get to Cologne for a day trip. Highly recommend!

Located in a beautiful, quiet residential neighborhood just 10 minutes from the old town center. The staff could not have been more solicitous, and the hotel was extremely comfortable. Highly recommend.

Villa Achenbach is nothing short od amazing. Their English is spot on across all staff members and as is their smiles. Rooms are one of a kind, and make you feel rejuvenated after any sort of travel. They exceeded all expectations and I would recommend thia place to anyone. The city is a short cheap ride in on the tram, which is located after a 30 sec walk. Surrounding area is beautiful and clean. Old town Düsseldorf is the same way as it is city worth seeing. Hotel Achenbach made sure the whole experience was tip top.

Fabulous staff-Sacha extremely helpful with excellent local knowledge. Hotel beautiful inside and out. Every aspect of hotel, including breakfast was so plush and inviting. If we return to Dusseldorf we wouldnt consider staying anywhere else!

I stayed in room 24 (on the ground floor) on Saturday 26th July. The hotel building is full of character and a lovely place to stay. I was greeted in a friendly and professional manner including showing how everything works in the room. The rooms were amazing and well above what I was expecting. In particular the bed was very comfortable meaning a very good nights sleep. Breakfast was excellent with everything you could want. Would visit again
